This thesis is focused on edible gardens in an urban environment. The theoretical part contains the literature review where the main concepts of urban and ecological farming and edible gardens are characterized. The practical part of this thesis contains a case study describing a typical edible garden in the Czech Republic. As a part of the research a questionnaire survey was realized to determine the level of general knowledge and interest regarding edible gardens amongst the people in Brno. The questionnaire survey shows, that awareness of edible gardens is low and people in Brno would welcome edible garden. From the result of survey is apparently, that interest regarding edible gardens in Brno is relatively high and then was suggested some recommendation in the framework of realization. SWOT analysis was created with prevailing strengths of edible garden, including recommended strategies.

Bachelor thesis is dedicated to evaluation of tourism in microregion Horňácko. This microregion is located in Southmoravian county and also it is a part of region Slovácko. In first part of bachelor thesis, is description related to topic, specifically a definition of tourism, assumptions of tourism, potential and its options of evaluation. Practical part is focused on description of the territory and evaluation of potential pursuant on method of evaluation from Mariot. Use of the SWOT analysis provided informations about strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the territory. On the basis of this finding I was able to create particular suggestions to improve the use of potential of the area for improvement in development of tourism.
