Internal order of youth home with the focus on disciplinary punishment

5 ABSTRACT The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out and describe the internal rules organization of selected youth homes. To analyze different parts of internal rules, compare them with legislature and with one another. To ascertain what motivational system or system of upbringing measures is being used, how is it defined, where is it saved and who intro- duces it to the students. To determine which behavioral action appears to be beneficial for lack of students' discipline in these institutions and how can such behavior be de- manded. In the theoretical part one can find the mapping of youth homes organizational structure. Attention will be given to legislature that is necessary for functioning of such institutions in the Czech Republic and the internal rules necessary for operation will be also mentioned. The main role of these institutions will not be dismissed. In the practical part of this thesis one can find the analysis of internal rules of two selected youth homes, that will be compared with the legislative scope. Character strengths of university teachers and possibilities of use in practice

The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the concept of strengths according to the authors Martin Seligman and Christopher Peterson and possibilities of its application in pedagogical practice of the university teachers. The first part deals with classification of character strengths, methods of measurement and possible use, emphasizing in particular the connection between the use of character strengths to increase life satisfaction. The next part discusses the profession of university teacher, its stress, especially due to the constantly changing conditions of work, a high degree of responsibility and the need to combine scientific and pedagogical activities. All these factors generate the need for psychohygiene in this profession. The following part is an analysis of the possibilities of using strengths of character in pedagogical practice, focusing on three areas: using strengths as a technique of psychohygiene, integrating strengths into teaching strategies and using strengths to inspire and shape students' personalities. Preventive program at selected primary school, analysis and specific utilization

This diploma thesis deals with a preventive program at a selected primary school. The theoretical part consists of a description of the creation of a school prevention program and concepts related to prevention in schools in the context of the legislative framework to which primary prevention in school facilities falls. Emphasis is placed primarily on the definition of the concept of risky behavior and its definition in the context of school primary prevention, whose horizontal and vertical level of management is also specifically described in this work. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the selected preventive program of a particular school. Special attention is paid to its historical development, the process of creation and the causes of changes that have taken place in the creation of PPŠ during the last 5 years. Part of the analysis of the selected PPŠ is also the analysis of specific primary prevention programs Nekuřátka and Digital well-being, which were implemented in the school year 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 in the 4th and 5th classes of the selected elementary school. Self-efficacy of Pre-service Teachers in Relation to Cyberbullying

This thesis examines self-efficacy in dealing with cyberbullying as a key factor that influences the ability of prospective teachers to intervene effectively in cases of cyberbullying. The level of self-efficacy will be investigated with respect to other significant factors, which are awareness of cyberbullying, condemnation of cyberbullying, and evaluation of university preparation to adress cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a widespread phenomenon in schools abroad and in the Czech Republic, and it is teachers who play a key role in identifying and dealing with cases of cyberbullying. For this reason, it is essential that future teachers are aware of the phenomenon of cyberbullying and are prepared to deal with it effectively in the context of the teaching profession. The aim of this study is to use a quantitative research to map the situation regarding cyberbullying in relation to prospective teachers and to explore the relationships between self-efficacy and i) awareness of cyberbullying ii) level of cyberbullying condemnation and iii) evaluation of university preparation to address cyberbullying.
