Struggle with the Liquid Muse: Law persecuting serving alcohol drinks and conditions his origin.
Balogh, Branislav ; Randák, Jan (advisor) ; Rychlík, Jan (referee)
The Youth Protection Act was the first standard to define the age at which a young person could consume alcoholic beverages. I try to shine a light on the reasons behind why the law was specifically created in 1922.Following its genealogy and being inspired by Foucault, I go through the numerous norms which society guarded itself against serious alcohol use. Subsequently, I follow the process of approving the law itself, from its proposal to its approval in the Senate. I pay close attention to its prohibition in Slovakia, the reason for which was the image of Slovakia as a country loaded with governmentally allocated alcohol. I notice the logic behind the violations of the law which legitimized such actions. Since we speak of offences mostly perpetrated by the youth, I aim to not only to show the ease by which alcohol could have been purchased but also the overall vision of appropriate alcohol consumption by the youth. Consequently, I point to the anchoring of the border between the 16th and the 18th year, when it is permissible to consume alcohol - as the law has stipulated. I also paid close attention to the opinion of several clubs of physical education on alcohol. I mentioned these as one of the many ways of combating alcoholism. Since I was fascinated to find out whether there was a...

Since after the war, the failure of the settlement policy has had immediate and long-term consequences for this region, even more so than in other border areas. The chapter about Hrubý Jeseník presents the main reasons of the region's sparse population and profound transformations. Changes in the population and life of a foothill village are illustrated with an example of Dolní...
