Ptáček, Michal ; Ing. Jaromír Střecha - ČEZ a.s.- EDU (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with the coordination and the order of interventions during the appearance of a major accident due to a blackout. It describes in detail the chronology and the priorities of what the shift engineer should do when working on the self-consumption restoration. Furthermore, it gives the variants for determination of the batch of radiation people are obtained by, while working on the self-consumption restoration.
Analysis of air quality around selected energy devices
Páll, Marek ; Ondroušek, Luděk (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
My thesis deals with analysis of air quality close to power devices and with rating of emissions caused by these devices. In the work there are listed laws and regulations, which relate to the rating of indoor and outdoor air quality. Further, there is a briefly clarified problem of pollution, outdoor air pollution and methods of measurement of pollutants. Main characteristics of workplace climatic conditions and their permissible limits are classified and characterized. Areas where the analysis was done are specified and there is mentioned a brief course of the measurement. In further parts are stated results of measurements done close to the boiler, where natural gas is burned, and a boiler, where wood chips are burned. The last part is dedicated to evaluation of emissions measurement results.
PV plant performance evaluation and optimization
Špinar, Marek ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The Master´s thesis deals with issues of operational performance of two photovoltaic power plants. In the thesis is stated the history of photovoltaics, description of photovoltaic effect, used materials and production technology of the most used material in PV industry – Silicon. The basic parts and parameters of photovoltaic power plant are described. Thesis also solves, how could be done the first and periodically control due to relevant directives. The ways of diagnostics potentional failures, methods of measuring and the exam of monitoring system are stated. Practice part is focused on measuring and comparing operational performance of FVE Kurdějov and FVE Šakvice II. Operational performance was calculated from exported data for years 2014 and 2015. The thesis also contains measuring of each string connected to inventors, which are installed on the power plant. The result is an identification of strings with decreased operational performance. Based on that was created recommendations for optimalization and increase of the performance. The last part is software for simulation of photovoltaic power plant. This SW calculates potentional energy, which could be produced in a day with available data export. The calculation is defined by parameters, which are assigned.
Compensation of reactive power to avoid its overflow into the MV system
Jurák, Viktor ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on analysis of reactive power flow in LV and MV networks. In the first part there is a definition of reactive power and description of individual parts of electrical networks that contribute with their reactive power to distribution network. The second part is dedicated to calculation of power flow in simulation software PSS® Sincal where on numerical models of network different types of network configuration are tested and consequently its influence on reactive power flow is evaluated. A more detailed analysis is dedicated to reactive power compensation in networks with distributed generation equipped with Volt-Var regulation and its possible negative mutual influence. This thesis also includes general recommendation on the basis of network simulation analysis concerning installation of compensating systems in distribution transformer station.
Potential Production of Electric Energy by Photovoltaic Power Stations on the Roof Installation in Municipality up to 3000 Residents
Štefek, Martin ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the maximum technical potential of photovoltaic roof power stations of the municipality with up to 3,000 inhabitants. The thesis proposes its own procedure enabling a quick determination of the maximum size of the installation for each house based on the ČSN EN 15316-4-3 standard. The proposed methodology is applied on the municipality Moravany u Brna. For overall estimation of the photovoltaic potential of the municipality, other methodologies using only statistical data are applied and compared with proposed methodology. Last section of the thesis deals with the estimation of the load caused by a large number of small photovoltaic roof installations.
Thermal behaviour model of the photovoltaic module
Ludányi, Róbert ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the observation of changes in behavior of photovoltaic cell due to changes in tempertature. In the beginning of the thesis is the desscription of sun as the primary source of energy for photovoltaic systems. The thesis also includes explanations of basic concepts in photovoltaic area and also a theoretical design for the calculations of thermal behaviour of photovoltaic cell in time. The result is a functional mathematical model, which is simulated in a simulation program PSCAD.
Development of the complex simulator of the solar irradiance and its cooperation with the PV module
Petrov, Roman ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The main point of this thesis is the extension of the complex solar radiation simulator, the creation of new functionalities, and the cooperation of this complex simulator with the PV power plant. This work builds on the work done in the area of solar radiation modeling. The thesis deals with the continuation, or improvement of some shortcomings, removing shortcomings, such as fixing the beginnings and ends of the simulation, correcting the calculation of sunrise and sunset, but also adding different types of clouds, combinations of different preset cloud situations, or data input, and more. These deficiencies are found in the bachelor's thesis "Complex Simulator of the solar irradiance", and PSCAD is the main tool in this work. Another important point of this work is the realization of the simulation where an improved solar radiation simulator works in cooperation with a model of a photovoltaic panel or a PV power plant, respectively. It has different operating states created in PSCAD. These include, for example, cloud crossings, both over the entire power plant and only partial. In addition, there are experiments that prove the fact that the direction of the incoming cloud plays a role in the power of the PV power plant.
Load model
Lašo, Matej ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Kopička, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with power quality and load modeling. The issues of power quality, principles of load model creation and various types of loads and their principles are described and explained in this thesis. Various software and its main adventages in power systems modeling are described and various load models and simulations in PSCAD program are created and described at last.
Project of Autonomous Heating Source
Pejcl, Jiří ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design of a suitable heat source for heating and hot water. There are dealt with operational costs of different types of heat sources, which are compared with one another. The next part is the implementation of specific proposal of the heat source - heat pump ground/water with deep wells and measuring system. The last part describes measuring several operating modes of the heat pump.
