It can be used to select staff, set up or improve the adaptation process of new employees, evaluate and develop existing employees in the team, and for possible career changes. Keywords Competence, competence model, Australian competence model, competence of social workers, competence of workers in social services, social services.
Mýty týkající se nutriční kvality mléka a mléčných výrobků
Procházková, Martina
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to provide an overview of basic information clarifying the myths regarding the nutritional quality of milk and dairy products, specifically yogurt and processed cheese. The work evaluates the composition of fresh and shelf-stable milk, and supports the fact that fresh milk is healthier than shelf-stable milk is an incorrect assumption. Thesis is focused on the wrong conjecture that milk is inappropiate for human health, but on the contrary milk together with dairy products are source of valuable and beneficial nutrients for human body. In conclusion, the thesis is pointing out and explaining issues of live and active cultures, probiotics in yoghurts, yoghurt additives and the raw materials and ingredients that are needed in production of processed cheese including food additives (AFCAs).
Monitoring imidazolů ve vybraných druzích nápojů
Procházková, Martina
The diploma thesis deals with monitoring imidazoles in selected types of beverages. The aim is to detect imidazoles in drinks by High Performance Liquid Chromatography with the use of Mass Spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The coumpounds that were detected are 2-Methylimidazole, 4-Methylimidazole and 2-Acetyl-4(5)-(1,2,3,4-tetrahydroxybutyl)-imidazole. The theoretical part concerns the origin of imidazoles, its occurrence and influence on human health. There is also a brief introduction to technology of production of beverages containing imidazoles. The practical part statistically compares imidazoles concentration amongst separated types of dark beers, cola beverages, coffee beans and instant coffees. The end of the thesis focuses on determining a dependency of imidazoles on roast time in Ethiopia coffee beans.
The assurance of personal stability in accompanying organizations (in non-profit substitute family care organizations)
Rubešová, Lenka ; Vrzáček, Petr (advisor) ; Procházková, Martina (referee)
Substitute family care is a frequently mentioned topic in the Czech Republic, especially in connection with the high number of children placed in institutional facilities. Foster care, as a one of the forms of substitute family care, was registered within the amendment to the Act on Social and Legal Protection of Children No. 359/1999 Coll. It was in January 2013 and a new concept of support and definition of foster parents' rights and obligations was defined. One of these obligations is to conclude a foster care agreement either with the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers or with a non-governmental non-profit organization which is entrusted with the exercise of social and legal protection of children and with foster care agreements. This diploma thesis focuses on the personnel activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations that accompany foster families and on the key accompanying workers themselves as well. The theoretical part defines an area of social and legal protection of children, the system of substitute family care, the activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations and personnel processes in the organization. In the qualitative research, I map out an area of human resources management in the accompanying organizations in the form of...
Predictive distribution modelling of selected bryophyte species in Bohemian Switzerland National Park
Procházková, Martina ; Man, Matěj (advisor) ; Moudrý, Vítězslav (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to create potential distribution models for Dicranum majus (Greater Fork Moss) and Polytrichum alpinum (Alpine Haircap) in Bohemian Switzerland National Park. In the Czech Republic these bryophyte species occur in cold climatic regions typically with higher altitudes. In Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland they can occur in really low altitudes thanks to unique microclimatic conditions of deep inversion ravines. These bryophyte species had low number of occurence records in studied area before the start of my research (4 occurence localities for Dicranum majus, 8 occurence localities for Polytrichum alpinum). Predictive habitat suitability models can be an effective tool for selecting potential new occurence localities, planning field research or management design. During field research I recorded 34 new occurence localities for Dicranum majus and 29 new occurence localities for Polytrichum alpinum in Bohemian Switzerland National Park. I used 8 topographic parameters derived from digital elevation model with 1 m resolution as environmental data. Using these data I created models of potential distribution of the most suitable habitats for both species with algorithms Artificial neural networks (ANN), Generalised linear model (GLM) and Random forest (RF). RF algorithm had the...
The idea of a female and male teacher in the perspective of students at lower secondary schools
Procházková, Martina ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Jarkovská, Lucie (referee)
This thesis is looking into problematics of children's view of teachers from gender perspective. It compares idea of typical male and female teacher, idea of ideal male and female teacher and also characteristics of actual male and female teachers. Main subject of this research is, if and how much is an ideal model of a teacher and children's real life experience influenced by a gender stereotype. Several researches have proven, that pedagogical personality and the way it is received has a major impact on studying effectiveness and attitudes towards school. These particular research uses quantitative methodology. Specifically a questionnaire survey. Several students of elementary school filled three questionnaires. First focused on imagine of typical male and female teacher, seconds focused on imagine of ideal model of a male and female teacher and third focused on description of a real-life teacher. The analysis will present a comparison of typical, ideal and real-life teachers and if gender has an impact on those three categories (typical, ideal and real-life teacher). This research is based and is expanding research of typical teacher published fifteen years ago (Moravcová-Smetáčková, 2003) and will be comparing the outcomes. Key words: gender, gender stereotypes, pedagogical personality,...

Bryophytes distribution modelling
Procházková, Martina ; Man, Matěj (advisor) ; Fialová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize recent knowledge about Species Distribution Modelling in botany, focusing on bryophytes. Species Distribution Modelling is used to explain the relationship between species occurrences and environmental conditions of their habitats. This method has unused potential in bryophytes compared to vascular plants. The distribution of bryophytes is influenced by their dispersal and ecological characteristics. The most important factor is a close association between bryophytes and microclimatic conditions of their habitats. This association is studied, but is not yet incorporated in the modelling process along with using data in an appropriate scale. Currently there is an increased interest in bryophytes distribution modelling. In Europe, there are some studies using this method for bryophytes mainly in Iberian Peninsula, Italy and northern Europe. There are approximately 25 articles focused on bryophytes distribution modelling worldwide. This method can be used for ecological niche modelling, in biogeography and for prediction of distribution in future climate. The use of bryophytes distribution modelling for their conservation is also significant. Bryophytes distribution models can successfully predict potential distribution of rare or endangered species and...
