Title: Quality of life of women with urinary stress incontinence Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to assess quality of life of women after conservative therapy and chirurgic therapy of urinary stress incontinence in Brno-město and Brno- venkov district. Methods: We did a questionnaire survey on quality of life by using a standardized questionnaire I-QoL (Urinary Incontinence Quality-of-life questionnaire). The questionnaire survey was conducted in patients after conservative or surgical therapy by TVT or TOT tape. Subjectively perceived quality of life of these patients after completion of the therapy was observed. The results were compared between the groups undergoing conservative and surgical therapy by TVT or TOT tape. Results: After the output assessment of quality of life of patients after the treatment, we found that there is a difference in the quality of life of patients treated conservatively and surgically by TVT or TOT tape. Patients treated surgically had higher quality of life than patients treated conservatively by 9%. We also found that there is a difference in the physical, mental and social scores of the groups. The respondents who were treated conservatively had lower score in all evaluated areas with the greatest difference in the physical area and the smallest difference...

Methodology: This work is a case study and is composed as a qualitative research. As for data collecting, it is a prospective study. The obtained data regarding nutritional habits, alcohol consumption, smoking, level of physical activity, psychosocial stress, family anamnesis, blood pressure, anthropometric and biochemical parameters of individual respondents were processed by a computer program Survey (Kozina, 2001). The results are in output protocols, which contain charts, scales, tables and text with graphic design program options within Excel. Outcomes: Nutritional status of women in the study (55 - 74 year old) shows the overweight or even obesity. Only 10 % of the women had % of body fat in standard, 90 % had high % of body fat. 7 participants out of 10 showed rather hazardous or risky android fat deposition in the abdominal area. Title: The effectiveness of compensation practices after training at badminton player Author: Adéla Krčková Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of compensation exercise after training on shortened muscles or muscle groups, the presence of trigger points in muscles and the presence of pain in musculoskeletal system at badminton players. Methods: This is a randomized pilot study based on a mixed type of research (quantitative, qualitative parameters), the methodological principle is a two-factor and multi level. Research was attended by 14 players aged 13-17 years , boys and girls. The whole group of players was examined by a physiotherapist , which included examination of shortened muscles by Janda, palpation assessment of the presence of trigger points in the muscles. The muscles which were assessed for the presence of trigger points were the same as the muscles , which in vestigates shortening and eventually every player will be asked for pain musculoskeletal system and evaluate numerical pain rating scale . Then , this group was divided by reported pain present in two groups: intervention and control group, so that in each group as far as possible the same number of players with pain. The intervention group subsequently completed a two-month compensation program, which was...

The title of work: The education and its influence on children who are placed in the creche The scope of work: There is illustrated the possibilities of work with a group of children 1-3 years who are placed in the creche. The work determined whether child's education in the creche is developmentally more advanced than child's education in other world. and whether the use of program may be affected by developments in each area of child's educationfinally in the creche. What goals can we set when we are working with these children. And finally what we can offer to young children in the creche. The method of work: The research was carried out by the method of measurement and comparison of two groups with using standardized tests and their numerical evaluation during one calendar year at intervals of 1 month. Children were tested who are visiting creche facilities or mother's center. The result was the comparison of cleverness between children who are worked specifically in the creche every day and children who are living at home and attending mother's center only of interest. The results of work: We have come to the conclusion that children have better results in the creche than children from the mother's center after the tests were evaluated. The results showed that a difference is not very high and...

Verešová, Anna ; Flemrová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Prajerová, Květa (referee)
Title: Impact of Motion Activities to Changes in the Curvature of Spine in Pregnancy Objectives: The goal was to verify the effects of selected motion, action to change the curvature of the spine and pelvic tilt which arise during pregnancy. Methods: The study used a method "1 level", "1 factor" experiment. The research, which took place between October 2009 and December 2009, included a group of ten selected women who were pregnant for the 1st time, aged 27-28 years, in the II. trimester of pregnancy Results: Changes in curvature of the cervical and lumbar lordosis in women who were exercising were very small, compared to the not exercising women. One client, who did the exercises, even improved the value, which I ascribe to the strengthening of the muscle corset and the use of appropriate movement activities that help to compensate the changes. Pelvic inclination values have changed minimally. The changes in the spine curvature and the pelvic tilt were more distinct in the women who did not exercise. Key words: Pregnancy, Physical Activity, Cervical Lordosis, Lumbar Lordosis, Pelvic Tilt.

Pscheidt, Michal ; Nováková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Prajerová, Květa (referee)
The Muscle Dysbalances ofIee Hockey Players in the Youth Category Object: to find out what kind ofmuscle dysbalance do ice hockey players have, how severe are the symptons, and to treat dysbalance by using compensational exercises. Metbod: kvazieexperiment - we examined group of selected ice hockey players in the age of 8 to 1Oyears. We analysed funcional condition of each individua} based on the posture examination by Jaroš-Lomíček and Mattias. After eight months of compensational exercise program we identified the stage of improvement. In questionaire we inquired about all of the kinds of sports the players do. We were interested if they practise some other sports as well or ifthe ice hockey is their only activity. Results: preliminary measurements of all individuals showed different stages of muscle dysbalance that correspond to the game character, to usage of specific muscle groups and inadequate compensation. There were noticed positive changes in body-control of some players measured at the end. Key words: ice hockey, muscle dysbalance, movement program 3

Vinšová, Jarmila ; Prajerová, Květa (advisor) ; Malá, Michaela (referee)
Title of work: The Influence of a Small Ball Facilitation on the Effect ofExercise after the Childbirth Aims: To verify whether the aplication of a pelvic small ball facilitation after the childbirth has any influence on the correction of abdominal muscles diastasis and correction of pelvic floor disorders. Methods: It is a qualitative research in which the method of combinated experiment (extragroup and intragroup) was used. Ten participants took part in the research and were dividend by a lot into two groups A and B. The group A did the prescribed configuration of exercises during the period of the puerperium while the group B did the same exercises besides made the pelvic small ball facilitation. The own evaluation was based on differences between input and output kinesiology analysis. The results were processed in Microsoft Office Excel XP. Results: The frrst hypothesis was confirmed. The small ball facilitation supported the effectiveness of exercise. It was discovered that there was a complete correction of abdominal muscles diastasis in more cases in group B than in group A. The second hypothesis was also confrrmed. The correction of urinal incontinence was made in a shorter period of time in group B than in group A. The results of the research cannot be accepted as generally valid because...
