Dučaiová, Iveta ; Prajerová, Květa (advisor) ; Vařeková, Jitka (referee)
Název práce: Kompenzační program u žáků s vadným držením těla na II. stupni ZŠ. The compensating program for pupils with poor posture at the second grade of elementary school. Klíčová slova: cvičení, vadné držení těla, svalová rovnováha, kompenzace, metoda dle Jaroše a Lomíčka.

Pscheidt, Michal ; Nováková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Prajerová, Květa (referee)
The Muscle Dysbalances ofIee Hockey Players in the Youth Category Object: to find out what kind ofmuscle dysbalance do ice hockey players have, how severe are the symptons, and to treat dysbalance by using compensational exercises. Metbod: kvazieexperiment - we examined group of selected ice hockey players in the age of 8 to 1Oyears. We analysed funcional condition of each individua} based on the posture examination by Jaroš-Lomíček and Mattias. After eight months of compensational exercise program we identified the stage of improvement. In questionaire we inquired about all of the kinds of sports the players do. We were interested if they practise some other sports as well or ifthe ice hockey is their only activity. Results: preliminary measurements of all individuals showed different stages of muscle dysbalance that correspond to the game character, to usage of specific muscle groups and inadequate compensation. There were noticed positive changes in body-control of some players measured at the end. Key words: ice hockey, muscle dysbalance, movement program 3

Vinšová, Jarmila ; Prajerová, Květa (advisor) ; Malá, Michaela (referee)
Title of work: The Influence of a Small Ball Facilitation on the Effect ofExercise after the Childbirth Aims: To verify whether the aplication of a pelvic small ball facilitation after the childbirth has any influence on the correction of abdominal muscles diastasis and correction of pelvic floor disorders. Methods: It is a qualitative research in which the method of combinated experiment (extragroup and intragroup) was used. Ten participants took part in the research and were dividend by a lot into two groups A and B. The group A did the prescribed configuration of exercises during the period of the puerperium while the group B did the same exercises besides made the pelvic small ball facilitation. The own evaluation was based on differences between input and output kinesiology analysis. The results were processed in Microsoft Office Excel XP. Results: The frrst hypothesis was confirmed. The small ball facilitation supported the effectiveness of exercise. It was discovered that there was a complete correction of abdominal muscles diastasis in more cases in group B than in group A. The second hypothesis was also confrrmed. The correction of urinal incontinence was made in a shorter period of time in group B than in group A. The results of the research cannot be accepted as generally valid because...
How dogs can affect physical aktivity of the people with disability
Neubergová, Kristýna ; Migdauová, Alena (advisor) ; Prajerová, Květa (referee)
Title: A dog's impact on the physical activity of persons with a spinal cord injury using orthopaedic wheelchairs Objective: The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate that having had a spinal cord injury, those owning a dog have more physical activity than persons with the same injury who do not own a dog. A secondary objective was to research whether individuals with a spinal cord injury owning a dog get enough daily physical activity as recommended by the World Health Organization. Methods: Qualitative research method was employed for the purpose of this thesis. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview "PARA-SCI." Physical activity was measured by an accelerometer ActiGraph GT3X+ which every participant received in order to measure his or her physical activity. Each participant's physical activity was measured for three weeks. Then, a subjective measurement of the participants' physical activity was conducted by means of a personal interview PARA-SCI. During the interview, each participant's activity was recorded into the PARA-SCI sheets. Next, objective data from the accelerometers were compared with the subjective data from the semi-structured personal interviews PARA-SCI. The focus group for this research was comprised of individuals having had a spinal cord injury. Results:...

Title: The influence of physical activity on postural function disorders in school children Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the state of postural function of pupils of 4th, 7th and 9th grades, and to measure their physical activity and subsequent evaluation of the impact of physical activity on the incidence of functional postural disorders in these children. Methods: The thesis used methods of observation and questionnaires. Evaluation of the state of postural function was held by observation using test evaluation of posture according to Jaroš and Lomíček. The rate of children's physical activity was detected using a questionnaire. Results: It was found that pupils who are not engaged in any organized physical activity is a greater incidence of functional postural disorders and overall condition of postural function is worse than that of students who play sports. Šmat, Václav ; Prajerová, Květa (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: Subjectively perceived health fitness and physical activity of the elderly compared to a fitness walk test Objectives: The aim of this paper is to compare the subjectively perceived health (fitness) and physical activity with an actual fitness walk test done by students of the University of the Third Age, using the LTEQ and SF-12 questionnaires. Methods: There were 64 seniors who participated in this study (age 67,36 ± 3,55, height 1,67 ± 7,04 cm, weight 69,80 ± 9,9 kg). All of them students of the University of the Third Age, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University. Two types of Questionnaires were used: The Leisure Time Exercise Questionnaire and A 12-Item Short-Form Health Survey, both of which are typically used to study the population of the elderly. A 2 km fitness walk test by Stejskal was used to gather data about aerobic fitness. The test took place at the athletic oval on the grounds of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University. Polar S610i sporttester was used to measure heart rate. Statistic was used to calculate all SPSS 21. Results: The results proved a significant correspondence between the subjectively perceived amount of leisure physical activity and the aerobic fitness measured by the 2km fitness walk test - specifically regarding...
