Defensive combination dealing with ball screening on an attacking ball-handler in a training process of the Czech National Female Basketball League teams.
Pospíšilová, Šárka ; Velenský, Michael (advisor) ; Kaprálek, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Defensive combination dealing with ball screening on an attacking ball-handler in a training process of the Czech Female Basketball League teams. Results: The main goal of the thesis is to find out how important is the defensive combination which deals with screening on an attacking ball-handler by her teammate who is off-ball and how much time is spent dealing with this combination according to the coaches of the teams of the Czech Female Basketball League. Methods: The data for the thesis were collected using the unstandardized questionnaire. The methods of evaluation and analysis were applied to examine the results of each question in the questionnaire. Results: I found out that the majority of the Czech Female Basketball League teams spend more time practicing the defensive variation of screening that the offensive one. I also found out that the Czech Female Basketball League teams practice all the possible variations of the defensive combination dealing with ball screening on an attacking ball-handler. Keywords: basketball, defensive combination, Czech Female Basketball League, teams.
Hodnocení fytotoxicity kompostu z komunitní kompostárny ve Svitavách
Pospíšilová, Šárka
The main aim of this thesis is Evaluation of compost phytotoxicity produced in composting plant of Svitavy. Biodegradable waste as a whole is also mentioned. This work is divided into several parts. Theoretical part aims to describe basic terms regarding biodegradable waste, legislation and statistical data. Moreover you can find way of handling biodegradable waste there but main focus is on the process of composting. Practical part describes composting plant facility in the city of Svitavy and all of the laboratory procedures used to evaluate compost phytotoxicity of studied samples. Three main methods of evaluating compost phytotoxicity were used phytotoxicity test using set Phytotoxkit, flower pot test and test phytotoxicity by Plíva. All of those methods utilized seeds of the Sinapis alba L and Cannabis sativa L. Last part of this thesis contains test results and their evaluation.
Revitalization of Film studios in Zlín
Pospíšilová, Šárka ; Kabela, Miloš (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor)
The subject of thesis is urban design of the Film Studios, its recovery, opening this area to the public, the use of film themes and to design the new functional use. The area, where the Film Studios have been built, is located in the city Zlín – Kudlov. The area has size of 10,11 ha and it is defined by the built-up area in the south, north and west and from the east street Vrchy. The area is crossed by street Filmová, which is divided into two parts, on the part of the bulit-up area of the Film Studios and the undeveloped part of gardening and unmanaged areas. The vision of the project is to revitalize the area using the new functional use, simplify transport structure and supplement the existing buildings by new buildings.
Study of new prognostic markers in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Vrbacký, Filip ; Červinka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Šárka (referee) ; Procházka, Vlastimil (referee)
3 Summary Title: Study of new prognostic markers in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common leukemic disorder of adults in Western hemisphere. It is characterized by clonal proliferation and accumulation of morphologically mature lymphocytes in bone marrow, peripheral blood and lymphatic tissues. Clinical course of CLL is extremely heterogeneous with some patients living for decades without need of therapy while others succumbing to the disease within several years. Thus, there has been great interest in identifying prognostic markers that could be used to distinguish patients with an aggressive form of CLL, because they might benefit from early intervention. The process of angiogenesis has been shown to be crucial for growth and metastasizing ability of solid tumors. Angiogenesis in "liquid" tumors was supposed to be less important, nevertheless numerous recent studies have shown enhanced angiogenesis in many hematological malignancies including CLL. Elevated levels of circulating angiogenic cytokines and increased expression of genes encoding angiogenic factors have been reported in recent years in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) but data regarding their prognostic and predictive significance are still limited. Therefore, in the...
Regulation of liver regeneration as assessed by means of molecular genetics
Rychtrmoc, David ; Červinková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Leníček, Martin (referee) ; Pospíšilová, Šárka (referee)
Regulation of liver regeneration as assessed by means of molecular genetics Liver regeneration is a noteworthy phenomenon of a vigorous tissue recovery following a wide variety of damaging events. Regenerative ability of the liver is unique among the mammalian visceral organs and plays its role in pathophysiology of heterogeneous hepatic diseases. The recovery process occurs in three phases of which the termination remains the least elucidated. Even the questions of regeneration termination timing and of completeness of organ build-up are still controversial despite decades of studies. The aim of the present thesis was to analyse gene expression data pertinent to late phase of liver regeneration. We evaluated the course of spontaneous recovery in rats subjected to 2/3 partial hepatectomy. Because of lack of generally agreed parameter of hepatic regeneration completeness we proposed a proprietary indicator denoted as %LReg, based on organ and whole body weight assessments performed throughout the study. Gene expression analysis was first performed using DNA microarrays and consequently by real-time RT-PCR. Whole genome scale transcriptional analysis yielded vast amount of data covering gene expression dynamics of fourteen post-surgery days after 2/3 partial hepatectomy in adult male rats. This intervention in...
