The flying rules of the civil aviation

The bachelor's thesis deals with the description of the rules of flying according to Annex 2 prescription in the field of civil aviation. The first chapter briefly summarizes the history of aviation rules. The second chapter describes the Annex 2 prescription. Chapters 3 to 7 describe the rules of the flying in the field of civil aviation, while Chapter 4 contains a description of airspace for a better understanding of the following chapters.

Analysis of chipped industry from Late Neolithic site at Lochenice

The presented diploma thesis presents the procedures and results of the analysis, carried out on an unpublished set of 3158 pieces of chipped industry, which has not yet been part of the rescue archaeological research, carried out on the area of the D11 highway near Lochenice (Hradec Králové district). The examined area had the designation D11-06-6B within the sectional division. Currently, it is the most extensive processed collection from the entire Czech basin, which belongs to the IV. phase of Stroked Pottery culture.

Neolithic and Eneolithic settlement of the Karlovy Vary Region

The diploma thesis Neolithic and Eneolithic Settlement of the Karlovy Vary Region is based mainly on the analysis of the typical finds of this period, i.e. cut and chipped stone industry in the area of the region under study. By analysing the finds I could subsequently identify potential sources of production raw materials, thus documenting their migration in the landscape, showing the probable direction of long-distance communications and potential Neolithic colonisation of the area. I compared the findings with previously known facts from the surrounding areas, especially those from the South Bohemia region. I also followed the development of settlement in the period from the Neolithic to the Eneolithic in the surrounding border mountain areas in Bavaria, Saxony, Poland and Slovakia. This researched material is summarized in a catalogue, which thus becomes the first clear summary of all Neolithic and Eneolithic finds in the territory of the Karlovy Vary Region. The work also includes a graphic appendix containing maps with the finds as well as graphs of geochemical evaluation of the raw materials. The Českodubsko area in the prehistory and early medieval

The presented thesis deals with prehistoric and early medieval settlement in the Český Dub region. The main aim is to describe finds belonging to different archaeological periods and cultures from the Palaeolithic to the Early Middle Ages (until the 12th century), which mostly come from the surface collection. The attention was mainly focused on the collections deposited in Podještědské muzeum in Český Dub. More information was obtained from the published literature and some new data, about the settlement, was acquired from the authorʼs surface survey. Based on the available information, a catalogue, which contains all the archaeological sites and finds dated until the 12th century, was compiled. The work is accompanied by maps of finds, belonging to certain archaeological periods and by a picture catalogue of chipped and polished stone industry. Spondylus ornaments in the neolithikum in the Czech Republic

Měkkýši a jejich schránky měli a doposud hrají v životě člověka velice důležitou úlohu. V této práci se budu zabývat především mlži rodu Spondylus, z jejichž lastur byly v neolitu, resp. v kultuře s lineární keramikou, vyráběny šperky, které byly pro jejich nositelé zajisté velice důležité. Jelikož se zejména ve střední Evropě jednalo o nepříliš snadno dostupný materiál, mohli z něj vyrobené ozdoby nosit jen vybraní jedinci v tehdejší společnosti. Pro své majitele však nesloužily pouze jako symboly společenského postavení, ale pravděpodobně byly používány také jako talismany a amulety. Cílem této práce bylo sehnat a prostudovat veškerou dostupnou literaturu k problematice spondylových šperků, pokusit se určit původ suroviny a jejího šíření do dalších částí Evropy, popsat hlavní skupiny ozdob a snažit se zhodnotit jejich význam pro tehdejší společnost. Další nedílnou součástí předkládané práce bude shromáždění všech doposud publikovaných nálezů na území České republiky.

Symbolism of graves with weapons at the end of the Aeneolithic and at the beginning of the Early Bronze Age in the territory of Bohemia

The aim of this study is to describe the changes at the end of the Aeneolithic period and at the beginning of the Bronze Age, on the basis of the analysis of graves with weapons and the possibilities (limits) of identifying the warrior graves in Bohemia. The end of the Aeneolithic is characterized by two cultural complexes, the Corded Ware Culture and the Bell Beaker Culture, on which the Early Bronze civilization evolved, characterized by the Únětice Culture in our context. It is in this transitional period, that graves with specific goods appear increasingly, and we can finally call these as true weapons. Weapons are associated with warfare attributes that, according to the latest theories, played an active role in prehistoric society. The identification of the warfare in archaeological sources is, however, often not without problems. Several types of evidence can be consulted: graves of warriors with specialized weapons, typical fortifications (ramparts), remains of battlefields, iconographic and written sources. In our conditions, the focus is on graves with weapons, due to the lack of other mentioned entities. Keywords: Late Aeneolithic, Early Bronze Age, graves, weapons, tools, symbols

Find Contexts of Neolithic Figural Art in Southwest Slovakia.

This bachelor's thesis examines find contexts of Neolithic figural art in Southwest Slovakia. A list of finds from Trnava, Bratislava and Nitra districts is attached to the thesis. These finds were critically evaluated and their conservation status, their appearance, size and their possible equivalents from surrounding areas. Additionally, the thesis considers typological development of figural art in Southwest Slovakia during individual periods of Neolithic. An integral part of this paper is comparison between Palaeolithic and Neolithic figural art. The thesis presents similarities and differences regarding their form, material and find contexts in Europe. Furthermore, it describes the most frequent types of find contexts and their eventual interpretation within Europe and Near East. Šárka phase on the upper Morava river

Pro studium období šáreckého stupně v oblasti Mohelnické brázdy, respektive při horním toku řeky Moravy, je v současné době k dispozici třináct známých lokalit na devíti katastrech. Ve všech případech se jedná o sídlištní areály archeologicky zjištěné povrchovými sběry, sondážemi a menšími či velkými výzkumy. Mezi významné nebo plošně rozsáhlejší výzkumy patří výzkum a sběry J. Horkého a V. Kapla v poloze Mohelnice - nadjezd mezi léty 1957 - 1987, výzkum R Tichého v letech 1953 - 1971 v poloze Mohelnice - U cukrovaru, dále drobné ale časté výzkumy v poloze Police - Polanka převážně prováděný J.Horkým a V. Kaplem a poslední výzkum vedený V. Gošem a J. Halamou v roce 2003 v Postřelmově - U Františka. Archeologické aktivity na ostatních lokalitách jsou již drobnějšími akcemi nebo není k dispozici dostatečná dokumentace, a proto je možné s nimi pracovat jen omezeně.

Neolithic settlement in the Libišany register (Pardubice district)

This thesis inquires into conditions in the southern part of the Hradec Králové neolitic settlement. Based on dating of the archeological material from the Libišany register (Pardubice district) almost continuous settlement activity was detected, from the Ib/c degree Linear Pottery Culture up to degree IV of the Stroke-Ornament Ware Culture, with the only discordance in the III degree of the Linear Pottery Culture. The studied territory represents a steady area in the neolitic settlement network in eastern Bohemia. Its lacation on the edge of an uninhabited enclave of Pardubice district assumes that the surrounding uninhabited areas were used for agricultural purposes, which is supported by findings of stone tools in the landscape outside of the settlements. It also might have been used as a base for further colonization of previously uninhabited areas during climate changes. The integration of the studied territory into the super-regional distribution network is illustrated by findings of stone materials from Krakov region and from Jizera region. Local material of baked clay from Kunětická hora was also frequently used.
