Effect of surface texturing on rolling contact fatigue of rubbing surfaces

Diploma thesis describes influence of directed modificated topography of frictional surfaces on fatigue wear non-conformal incurvate solids. It was created 3D parametric model of experimental test rig in modelling environment Autodesk Inventor. With the help of model was designed and carried reconstruction of experimental test rig so to possible obtain repeatable results under the sliding conditions of frictional surfaces. It enabled show influence of surface iregularities (dents) frictional surfaces on contact fatigue service life in conditions mixed lubrication regime and different values of slide to roll ratio.
Financing and function of football stadium in the condition of the Czech Republic

Title: Funding and operating of the multifunctional football stadia in conditions of the Czech Republic. The aim of the work: The aim of the work is to determine opportunities in self-financing and operating of the multifunctional football stadia and to identify ways of maximising profits, which are generated by stadium operating. Methods: The autor applied analyse of documents to clarify criteria in stadia realizing. The options in stadia self-financing were detemined upon interviews with the experts. The development of football stadia was realized through evolutionary study. Results: The results of the work elucidate external experiences in self-financing and operating of the multifunctional football stadia, the findings are applied to the conditions of the Czech Republic. Current problems of sport promotion in Červený Kostelec

Title: Current Issues promoting sport in Cerveny Kostelec Objectives: The aim of this document is to analyze and evaluate the current management of sport in Cerveny Kostelec. Attention is paid to the financing of sport activities and facilities. Part of this thesis is dedicated to providing an overview of sports facilities, their condition and a comparison with urban standards. Further parts are dedicated to analyzing current funding of sport in the community, analyzing the financing of sport in other towns and a new possible funding of sport in the town. Methods: This is a case study which is based on an analysis of primary and secondary data about Cerveny Kostelec and similar towns. Secondary data was collected from the information available on the Internet and internal town documents. The primary data was obtained from interviews with the people who deal with this issue. To evaluate the information obtained, descriptive, contextual and comparative analysis was used. Results: There is a complete list of sports facilities in the observed community. It was also found that the total area for sports in Cerveny Kostelec is sufficient, but the sub-area for school PE is small when compared with urban standards. Title: Sport as a Public Service: Equity and Efficiency of Local Sport Facilities In the Czech Republic, clubs traditionally played a key role in providing sport facilities. In recent years, the role of local authorities in sport has strengthened. Hence, there have been changes in the management of sport facilities in the context of new trends in public administration and sport participation. The thesis analyzes and evaluates current modes of provision of public sport facilities as the consequence of these changes. The examined issue is narrowed down to the two theoretical concepts - sport equity and efficiency of sport facilities. These are perceived as a part of the performance of sport facilities (see Liu et al., 2009 or Kung and Taylor, 2010). The first part of the thesis aims to test the effect of different forms of management of sports facilities on the sport equity score in the framework of institutional analysis (Houlihan, 2005). On the basis of the original instrument for measuring of sport equity, the survey is carried out. The research sample (N = 193) is made up by the municipalities with extended powers, except for regional cities and Prague. The second part of the thesis has the character of an action research. Organizational and security aspects of International Sport Events for youth - case study of Christmas price of Prague

Title: Organizational and safety aspects of international sports competitions for youth - Prague Christmas prize case study Objective: The main objective of this thesis is to develop proposals for improvement of the Prague Christmas Prize organization and to create security measures for this competition and for similar competitions in the Czech Republic. Supportive goals for the main objective are: SWOT analysis of the competition, finding the funding opportunities for sporting events in the Czech Republic and evaluation of the application of proposals for improvement of the competition held in 2013. Methods: The qualitative case study method is used in this thesis. The data are obtained by document analysis and group discussion. The acquired data will result into the SWOT analysis. Results: Results of this thesis consist of proposals for improvement of the quality of the Prague Christmas Prize and of development of simple safety measures for this competition. Grant sport policy in Prelouc town

Title: The subsidy policy applied by the city of Přelouč in sport Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to describe the policy of the city of Přelouč in the support of sport, sports funding at the local level with the description of individual funding opportunity, building sports infrastructure in the long run focusing on receiving grants for sport. Methods: In this diploma thesis the method of mixed research is used consisting of work with documents related to grants provided to selected sports facilities in the city. Further personal or written interviews and questioning with representatives of the city of Přelouč and villages in the district of the city and with sports facilities managers. Results: The result of the thesis is a text that contains information about the support given by the city into the sports infrastructure, description of the areas of financing with an emphasis on subsidies. The city of Přelouč fixed the sport as one if its policy priority and within the budget allocates to sport around 1%. Over the last ten years, the city of Přelouč realized with the help of state and Europe grants three large projects for the expansion of the sports infrastructure. Questions of choice of sport in young childrens

Title: Questions of choice of sport in young childrens Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to find out what possibilities there are for children of an younger school age to be introduced to sport and to find out what choice of sport programmes they have. Also, to find out how children and their parents choose sport activities, sport clubs and sport sections. Methods: During my work with children, I applied method of group research, which is part of methodical quality research. Another way how I gathered information from parents with children of an younger school age was by method of quantity research. I've used a questionnaire and also part of my study to find out what are the possibilities how to introduce children to sport I used desk research method. Therefore, during my practise I used combination of both methods- quality and quantity research. Results: I came to a conclusion, that children of an younger school age are most likely to spend their free time outdoors and practise one of many outdoor activities. Current youth sport participation in Jablonec nad Nisou town

Title: Current youth sport participation in Jablonec nad Nisou town Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine current situation of sport participation of youth population in town Jablonec nad Nisou. Subtasks were focused on finding the leisure activities of young people, their perceived incentives and barriers in sports, socio-demographic factors and description of sport background in Jablonec nad Nisou. Methods: The thesis includes the method of accessibility and convenience for reach the sample of students (High school "U Balvanu" and secondary Technical School). An anonymous questionnaire survey was used to collect data from 206 respondents. The questionnaire was inspired by the survey of Eurobarometer, WADA and research investigating the lifestyles of youth. To collect data focused on sports facilities in Jablonec nad Nisou, a method of analysis of documents (official material on the web) was used. Obtained data were processed by using basic descriptive statistics, relational analysis and explanation. Results: We found out that roughly half of the students are insufficiently ivolved to physical activity. This Bachelor thesis consider sport as a tool in prevence against criminality and other socio- pathological phenomenon of youth. During identifying of the problems, the expert-text analysis was used and it was focused on psychological and sociological effects of sport. Thus, positive contributions of sport during the formation of personality along with socialization of youth were found. These contributions leads to reduction of the criminality and others problems of youth. The problems of the applying sport as a tool against criminality were carried out also and the conditions which should be followed were established.
