Design of a biological organic waste conveyor
Diviš, Přemysl ; Zajíc, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design of a convex conveyor belt for biological organic waste, with a focus on the mass optimization of its supporting structure. The thesis assignment was developed in cooperation with Bluetech s.r.o. The aim of the work was to perform a functional calculation of the conveyor belt and to complement it with the selection of components. One of the objectives was also to perform a strength analysis of the original supporting structure and to perform its mass optimization from the collected data. The main part of the work is devoted to design the shape of the new support structure, where the resulting weight and the values of the maximum stresses will be lower than the original structure. The conclusion displays summarized results and suggests possible recommendations.
Wall crane
Zbořil, Michal ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis focuses on construction design of a wall-mounted jib crane with lifting capacity up to 800kg, an outreach of 3500mm and lifting height of 5000mm. Thesis describes selection of trolley and crane hoist based on the current market offer. It includes a description of own design for the rotation mechanism of the crane using planetary gearbox and roller chain. It furthermore includes crane design and strength calculations according to valid norms. Technical documentation of assembly and weldment of cantilever is attached to this thesis.
Self-erecting tower construction cranes up to a maximum load capacity of 3000 kg
Jambor, Jiří ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis contains a general analysis of self-erecting tower cranes. The main part describes what self-erecting cranes are, their history and what the individual types are. Furthermore, all crane assembly mechanisms and procedures for erecting them are discussed. The penultimate part is dedicated to comparing crane models and their individual parameters. In the last part of the work, a conceptual design of the erecting mechanism of a self-erecting tower crane is proposed.
Using optimization methods to design machine parts
Kubrický, Daniel ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes using structural optimization methods to design machine parts. In the first part of the thesis, a description of the current state of knowledge of the optimization process was made together with its theoretical background. In the second part of the thesis, a static analysis and topology optimization or Generative design was developed using the example of a bell crank in six commercial software. In the third part, the resulting models of each software were compared with each other, and the results were compared using the von Mises maximum stress criterion and the overall model deformation. Finally, this work was concluded with an evaluation of the use of the structural optimization software.
Topology optimization of frame
Vagner, Radim ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of topological optimization in the design of machine components and structures. The first part contains a condensed view of the basic methods of topological optimization. The second part contains the actual solution to the topological optimization of a frame, represented by a simpler part. It concludes with an evaluation and comparison of both the part itself and design approaches to the topological optimization problem.
Long-distance belt transport
Řepa, Vojtěch ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with long-distance belt transport, the principles of which are explained in the first chapter of the thesis. In the following chapter, the individual components of the belt conveyor are described in detail. The practical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the conceptual design according to the specified parameters in accordance with ČSN ISO 5048 and the professional literature on the construction of belt conveyors. To verify the correctness of the concept, the strength of the selected conveyor belt is checked. A 3D visualization and drawing documentation of the conceptual design is created for the proposed concept.
Study of designs of forwarders and timber trailers in logging
Svoboda, Dominik ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Mergl, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the construction of forwarders and timber trailers in forestry logging. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the structural solutions of forwarders. The second part covers the construction of timber trailers. The last chapter focuses on the utilization of forwarders and timber trailers in forestry logging, their advantages, disadvantages, and a comparison of technical parameters. The study includes schematic drawings of certain structural components.
Analysis of powertrain systems of drilling equipment
Klíč, Zdeněk ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Mergl, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with powertrain systems of drilling rigs intended for construction work. The powertrain systems are divided according to the energy they used and then analyzed. This analysis includes a description of the important components in the systems, schematic images indicating the principle, a description of operations, power transfer, and specific examples of machines using each of the systems. The next part focuses on a summary of the pros and cons. The knowledge gained relates to modern drilling rigs with an emphasis on environmental friendliness. The result of the work is the generalization of this issue and the disclosure of a more detailed solution for individual systems.
Topology optimization of the towing equipment
Skoupil, Vladimír ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the use of topology optimization to design as efficient machine components as possible. The theoretical part of the work deals with the principle and methods of performing topology optimization. In this part, research is also carried out on the issue of towing devices and the requirements placed on them. In the practical part, the topology optimization of the towing hitch for a passenger car is carried out and subsequently there is comparison of the designed towing hitch with the conventional shape.
Spiral conveyor
Matoušek, Martin ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of a spiral screw conveyor. In the introduction, a research is carried out, which is focused on the description of existing design solutions of conveyors. At the same time the main parts of the spiral screw conveyor are described. With regard to the basic characteristics of the conveyed materials, the applicability of the conveyor is analysed. Subsequently, the material to be conveyed is selected. Furthermore, a functional calculation is carried out, which corresponds to the information given in the literature. Based on the results of the calculation, the individual components are selected. A control strength calculation is carried out for the force-stressed components. Finally, a detailed design of the conveyor structure is made, which is outlined in a drawing of the spiral assembly and weldment.
