Šmejcová, Aneta ; Hanzlová, Radka (advisor) ; Podaná, Zuzana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis aimed to explore the topic of loneliness among university students in the Czech Republic, put it into the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and mainly find relationships between loneliness and characteristics of Czech university students, specifically gender, age, year of study, household type, romantic relationship, time spent on social media, and income. Loneliness was measured by the UCLA scale of the University of California in Los Angeles and therefore this thesis also focused on the reliability and validity of this scale. To find out which factors are related to loneliness, own research was conducted. Data was collected with an online questionnaire, and the sample contained 1 079 respondents of Czech university students. Firstly, it was found that the UCLA scale for measuring loneliness is a valid tool due to its positive and high correlation with the CES-D 8 depression scale (r = 0,629). Secondly, it was also proven to be a reliable tool for measuring loneliness, with Cronbach's Alpha reaching 0.93. In the research sample, 65.1% of students with high loneliness, 32.6% with moderate loneliness and 2.3% with low or no loneliness were detected. The results of examining the relationships between factors and loneliness showed that students living alone are lonelier than...
Destigmatization of mental illness and psychohygiene in Czech society
Římková, Karolína ; Vinopal, Jiří (advisor) ; Podaná, Zuzana (referee)
(in English): The diploma thesis is focused on the attitude of Czech society towards depressive disorders and practiced ways of psychohygiene. The aim was to verify changes in attitude over time and to identify specific predictors that contribute to this change. The main hypothesis is based on the current situation where there is an increase in the number of people who have the disease and those who take antidepressants, so a less stigmatizing attitude can be expected. The verification of the hypothesis of the diploma thesis was based on a questionnaire survey of a sample of 1022 respondents. Attitudes were analyzed using the RIBS scale and multiple regression analysis. The results confirmed the influence of age, experience with mental health education and the use of antidepressants on attitude. Other parts of the analysis focused on phenomena related to stigma such as mental literacy and lifestyle. Based on the questionnaire survey, it was possible to map the destigmatization of social attitudes and current trends in mental health care. In conclusion, the thesis deals with recommendations that are based on the findings of the survey and could support the destigmatization of mental illness and depression in the future.

In methodological part there is a description of ISRD-3 survey, basic indicators of sample and data collection methods used. And then there is an explanation how operationalization of individual explanatory variables in the model was done. Empirical part is dedicated to multidimensional analysis of data and evaluation of this concept. Postpenitential care - utilization of coaching interview method
Selmbacherová, Tereza ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Podaná, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis presents postpenitentiary care / after care and its basic definition. It also discusses the use of coaching approaches in the after-care. The main objective of this thesis is to design and test the suitability and efficiency of leadership coaching approaches in after-care interviews. In the introduction of coaching approaches, I present the results from tests done with a research group made of former prisoners from facilities based in Prague, who left in the period between 17th 2010 and 24 5th The 2011th. A key finding is that researchers proved the suitability of the use of variable roles. In the following thesis, I define the three main borders and two roles that can be used for client access. The basic forms of access to clients can be identified as the approach of coach, child behavioral / ethopedy and social worker. Boundary roles can be described as a role transition between the essential roles. Through roles based on current client's needs, it can help to develop various personalised ways towards the independence. This thesis can serve as input into the area of after-care treatment. It also introduces a possibility to access after-care providers by enriching other possible approaches to clients.

Mediation of juvenile delinquents
Herman, Iryna ; Podaná, Zuzana (advisor) ; Homolová, Pavla (referee)
(in English): This thesis deals with a restorative justice, or the most widespread method, which represents the mediation. This method is then described in the standard form used in the Czech Republic as well as in the redesigned version adapted for violent crime in the US, which is contained in the first theoretical part. In the practical part, these two forms of mediation are compared with each other. Different moments are then reflected on three case studies, where appeared a mediation of violent juvenile crime. The results of comparison shows that the modified parameters of meidation used in case of violent crimes were not in these case studies demonstrated. This may be due to the fact that all the actionswere of less violent severity, so the differen elements of mediation didnť have to be necesery exploited.
Celebrity stalking
Kolínská, Viktorie ; Podaná, Zuzana (advisor) ; Krulichová, Eva (referee)
As Meloy (1998: 4) says: "Stalking is an old behavior, but a new crime. Postmodern society which is evolving not only in real environment but also in multimedia cyber-space brings much more instruments and trends where stalking can be realized. I focus my bachelor work on celebrity stalking, a specific type of stalking in which celebrities are the victims. Scholarly research on stalking exists and focuses on domestic violence, working environment, or other kinds of harassment. Celebrity stalking cases, however become public through the media especially from particular cases, mainly those of foreign celebrities, presented as tabloid articles. Because of the lack of formal research on celebrity stalking, I analyze the common forms and connections in celebrity stalking. My research is based on 5 qualitative interviews with celebrities who are victims of stalking. I try to define relationship between respondents and their fans where I am focusing on break point of change from common fan into chaser. Then I show manifestations of celebrity stalking compared with "common stalking". Keywords: Celebrity stalking, stalking, celebrity, media, funs 2
