Group shopping as a way of marketing tool

This thesis, called "Group shopping as a way of marketing tool", describes discount portals and their trends. Theoretical part observes types of media, which are possible to use for the discount portals. Then my thesis describes an origin of discount portals in USA and the way of expansion of that portals to the Czech republic. Then the giants of that market are described. The goal of a practical part was a verification whether the discount portals are really so very popular among the people. The verification was created by the survey. Then it verifies the assumption the shopping on that portals is the domain just of young people. The survey observes the satisfaction of people with the portals too. The key point was in the verification of people's return- if the using of discounts was advantageous for firms or not. In my thesis is the feedback of firms and the feedback of discount portals and the ways how the discount portals choose the firms for discount.
The evaluation of the company Kordárna Inc.

This diploma thesis is tasked to evaluate the company Kordárna Inc. with the view of its sale within the frame of reorganization as a nonliquidating solution to its insolvency. The evaluation of the company Kordárna Inc. is performed to the date of January 1st, 2009. By then the company, due to many unfavorable conditions, falls into existential problems that have to be immediately solved. The reorganization plan is allowed and processed within the framework of higher creditors' satisfaction. An integral part of this plan is also the desirable evaluation of the company Kordárna Inc. with the view of its sale to a new investor. Within these issues, both the detailed external and internal analysis of the company and the financial analysis of the 5 preceding fiscal periods are processed (years 2004-2008). Consequently, based on many assumptions, the financial plan for the 4 following fiscal periods (2009-2012) is conducted, and the evaluation of the company Kordárna using 4 evaluation methods -- FCFF, FCFE, EVA and Liquidation value methods -- is processed.

Tato práce je hodnocením finanční výkonnosti stavební společnosti Rekont spol. s r.o. Obsahuje vertikální a horizontální analýzy účetních výkazů, poměrové a absolutní ukazatele, analýzu zadluženosti a likvidity, modely predikce finanční tísně a jejich srovnání s odvětvím. Na závěr jsou výstupy shrnuty a uvedena určitá doporučení ke zlepšení finanční situace podniku.
