his master’s thesis deals with implementation of the environmental management system in the concrete company. It compares the implementation in this company with standard ČSN EN ISO 14001. The concept of the environmental management system is introduced in the theoretical part of the master’s thesis and the implementation how is standard specifications being asked. Implementation of the environmental management system by top management describes the practice part. The system implementation is evaluated by repayment time of investment.

The Marsh Girl Myth, A Human Individual as a Part of the Natural World in the work of Delia Owens

The bachelor thesis is to explore and analyze the theoretical level of the coming-of-age story, the connection between nature, landscape, and person, who stands on the margins of society and is not included in the social structure. Based on theoretical sources, the work will try to analyze the myth of the found child and his ability to adapt to natural conditions during adolescence in contrast to the problem of subsequent inclusion of the individual in local communities, education, and employment in adulthood. Literary analysis of the romance genre will focus on the emotional relationships of an individual who grows up in social isolation and, at the same time, is closely connected with nature and the landscape. The work further characterizes the space and natural conditions in the locality, in which the novel Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens is situated and analyzes the behavior of the main characters against the background of the criminal investigation, which the "marsh girl" is a subject to.

The first part of the work characterizes the mention history and the origin of the agriculture commodity and the way of cultivation and utilization. Subsequently, it seeks to bring its growing global importance closer to the main productive areas. The second part outlines business aspects and the development of economic indicators due to the acceleration of oil palm production in Indonesia. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of the selected environmental, social and economic aspects that are created or deepened by the overexploitation of monoculture. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the highlighted aspects and to propose suitable recommendations for improving the situation.

Social Security in the USA and in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with social security in the United States of America and the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into 5 chapters. The first chapter is an introduction to social security, including an explanation of the main key terms. The second chapter focuses on social security in the United States of America and includes current health care reform. The third chapter provides a description of social security in the Czech Republic in the areas of pension insurance, healthcare and health insurance. The fourth chapter briefly describes the international social security agreement between the Czech Republic and the United States of America. The last chapter contains a comparison of these two systems, including their similarities and differences.
