It is describing basic terms - environment, climate and social climate - as social psychological features. It shows main approaches to examination of the school class climate and it considers possibilities of diagnostics.
Fear as a part of educational unsuccessfulness

This bachelor's labour, in its theoretical level, deals with fear in its general concept. Its functions, symptoms and possible reasons. One part informs about prevention and reduction of fear. Fear also affects cognitive functions, especially a memory, thereby an effeciency of childern at contemporary school which is mostly based on the memorial learning. In reference to the childern's fear, it definetely isn't only an anxiety connected with an apprehension from the educational unsuccessfulness. On how the child will be happy and successful, also appeals his position among schoolmates, position in the children's school society. That's why this bachelor's labour contains a chapter about the problems which arise from major disturbance of children's group relations (aggressiveness, violence, chicane). The chapter which is closely linked with two previous, is a treatise on the influence of the family education on the child and his personality. Connection of this chapter with the first part of the labour, lies in the coherency of the method of family education and his disposals to anxiety. A teacher as a victim of violence

The thesis is focused on violence against teachers. It is a broadly discussed topic because of several cases of teachers assaulted by a student in the Czech Republic or abroad, sometimes with fatal consequences. Usually there is an opinion that youth violent behaviour is on increase and therefore educational profession is becoming a risk one. The thesis suggests there is some kind of distortion in sources of such information which such opinions are based on. It relates both to news coverage and crime statistics. There is also a problem to define violence or aggressive behaviour. Moreover, we should consider them in a close relation to the work of a teacher, ideally as a type of so called workplace violence. The thesis explores causes of violence against teachers. Not only with respect to perpetrator but also regarding the victim and his or her behaviour or specific features typical for interaction between teachers and students. Empirical research is the most important source of relevant information related to the extent and patterns of violence against teachers. Unfortunately, there are only few studies focused on the problem. This is the reason why the discussion of the problem is usually based on guesswork or speculations but not on the real knowledge. Development of learning autonomy as a personality quality (focused on language teaching)

Současná doba klade velké nároky na žáky, ale i na lidi, kteří už dávno opustili školní lavice. Neustálý rozvoj moderních technologií a z něj vyplývající nové možnosti pro jednotlivce, firmy a různé další instituce s sebou nese zvyšující se nároky na vědění, dovednosti-klíčové kompetence jako jsou například odpovědnost, spolehlivost, myšlení a učení, řešení problémů a tvořivost, samostatnost a výkonnost, komunikace a spolupráce, zdůvodňování a hodnocení apod. Jen malá část obyvatel rozvinutých zemí si může dovolit neučit se novým věcem a využívat znalosti ze školy a následně jen z praxe. Požadavky školy, trhu práce, strach ze ztráty zaměstnání , ale i činnosti ve volném čase jsou silnými motivy pro další sebevzdělávání. Práce zaujímá v žebříčku hodnot vysokou příčku a má zásadní vliv na vnímání naší identity a společenského postavení. Mezinárodní organizace (OECD, UNESCO aj.) si tuto novou realitu uvědomily a změnily požadavek celoživotního vzdělávání na požadavek celoživotního učení (lifelong learning). V Helsinkách vychází od roku 1997 specializovaný časopis Lifelong Learning in Europe. Mluví se o učící se společnosti. Jedinec je nucen několikrát za život změnit svou kvalifikaci, jsme společnost, která se učí celý život.
Function of educational counsellor at elementary school

This theoretical-empirical work deals with the major aspects of consultancy of the educational counsellor of an elementary school. After the definition of school counselling and the description of system of education consultancy services, we describe relations among the educational counsellor and other subjects of the system. Then we analyze possible roles in counsellor's communication that arise from the relations. In connection with this, we deal with personal demands and professional qualification that are essential for the post of the educational counsellor and we focus on ethical dimension of his consultancy. In the next chapter we discuss the methods in his work that arise from the knowledge of consultancy approaches that are practiced at schools. Then we show that his diagnostic work is based on clinical methods. We discuss them in the end of the chapter. We find the concrete job description and the focus of educational counsellor's work in the analysis and the comparison of current school consultancy legislation. The theoretical conclusions of this work are the base for empirical research of the consellor's consultancy practice. The possibilities of the pupil's confidence development

Cílem této práce je ukázat, že kritériem úspěšného psychosociálního začlenění žáka do vzdělávacího procesu je osobní spokojenost vztahující se k sebepojetí dítěte. Jak se žák vidí v konkrétních denních situacích? Jaký je jeho pohled na dané skutečnosti? Ústí v osobní spokojenost či nespokojenost? Jedná se o vytyčení základních souvislostí mezi vlivy působícími na utváření sebevědomí dítěte v rodině, ve škole, mezi vrstevníky a hledání cest, jak tyto vlivy, pokud jsou negativní, ovlivnit přiměřenými rozvojovými aktivitami. Cílem je pomoci učitelům v oblasti teoretické, diagnostické i praktické. Práce je koncipována jako teoreticko - empirická, z níž větší část bude pojata teoreticky.
Contemporary problems of creative education

This work is focused on the problems of contemporary creative education from the theoretical - empirical view. It has an approach to integrate all available theories at ease, in a natural way. The first chapter of the theoretical diploma's part defines creativity as a psychological problem, compares theories of chosen authors, divides the types of creativity and describes its statuses and processes in the point of view of their development. The second chapter is about creative education; it presents various didactic theories, methods and techniques. The third chapter presents summary of basic contemporary problems of creative education and it is the empirical verification of their essential starting point. The important question is this: How the parents and the teachers reflect creativity and its development? The empirical verification was preceded at the elementary school with the prepared questionnaire.

Factors affecting social climate in primary school

This thesis is focused on the social and environmental factors affecting social climate in primary school classes. Since the beginning of the 1990's, this topic has found its deserved place in Czech pedagogical research. The thesis compares social climate at a private and state school in Prague and shows their common and different features. The results of the survey and social analysis could become an inspiration for discussion and further research for teachers.
