The cableway station Vranča-Kohútka

The bachelor´s thesis is focused on alternative structural design of the base cableway station in Vranča, Zlín region. Structure is designed as a hall at rectangular floor plan 22x28 m. Material solution of the load-bearing structure consist of mixture of glutted laminated timber and solid timber. The snow load has the major impact on possible arrangement of the structure (mountain area). The major focus of the thesis is on structural details – frame joint and anchorage. The thesis includes the study which objective is an alternative design of the frame joints in consideration of global behavior of the structure.

Coach station by the Brno River railway station

This diploma thesis deals with a design of the coach station in option A-River of the Brno railway hub. The aim of the thesis is alternative design of the coach station configuration located under the bridge of the new passenger’s railway station. Furthermore, the proof of coach station Zvonařka preservation has been given in accordance with the estate road system change in relation with the new railway infrastructure development. The preliminary design is processed in four options. The complement of this thesis is a traffic survey.

Analysis of purchasing in Retigo s.r.o.

This bachelor's thesis analyses purchasing in a manufacturing company. For segmentation of purchased items this paper uses ABC and XYZ analysis, as well as Kraljic purchasing portfolio matrix. This work further deals with a selection and evaluation of suppliers and with the importance and formulation of a purchasing strategy. The aim of this work is to demonstrate the importance of a proper system of selection and evaluation of suppliers as well as the importance of the correct distribution of competencies in between employees. Further this paper thoroughly analyses present situation in the purchasing department of Retigo s.r.o. company. This paper then proposes structural changes within this department, including new segmentation of purchased products, proper formulation of purchasing strategy and assignment of competencies in between employees.
