Low-power internet server
Dohnal, Petr ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work is to describe the basic mechanisms of memory management and access to peripherals via EBI at the ARM9 microcontroller family. It is a solution for connecting physical ethernet interface, SD / MMC card to the device and design a development kit with the ability to connect a hard or SSD drive. The second part is aimed at operating system Linux, its modification for the ARM9 family of microcontrollers and installing software packages.
Remote temperature monitoring system
Gál, Radek ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This project describes the design of a system for remote temperature monitoring of stored a more commodities quantity for the horse-breeding. The main task of this system is the early alert before the fire developed to the spontaneous combustion and continuous monitoring of the quality and safety this commodities. The main module communicates with several autonomous temperature sensors, which are located in multiplie locations. The measured values can be stored on an internal memory, displayed on the display and transmitted with the Ethernet network to the client computer, where it is possible this temperatures to view with in the user program and graphs.
Accelerometer driven robot
Ryšavý, Tomáš ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this work is to propose new robot controlling system. This robot simulates handling activities within manufacturing process. Original controlling system shows some defects, selected components have technological and software limitation. Due to this will be current controlling system modernized. Chosen task has been solved replacing some components by modules using higher technology. This is related to applying new programming language and implementing new program source code. Emphasis has been put to connectivity with external environment as well. The most important change in controlling system configuration is using gyroscope and accelerometer modules. These modules provide significantly higher level for technological part and whole functionality. Proposed solution provides requisite base to apply practical realization of changes. This work contains detail list and description of all proposed modules. Only Arduino components are taken into consideration. This way will be covered 100% compatibility and controlling system will be open for future extension. Controlling system will have option for direct robot driving by external devices like computer or cell phone.
Programmable load
Koleček, Jan ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a programmable load. As first, the research of available commercial devices was made in the theoretical part. Based on this research, the design possibilities of programmable load were discussed. As next, the design of resistor network was made, using a computer program that was developed for this purpose. Practical part deals with a realization of module of load, control board and software development. Proposed system consists of control board and ten modules. Modules have floating input terminals. This approach facilitate to arbitrary combination of their inputs. Modules are designed to work with DC and AC power supplies.
CNC milling machine driving interface
Mitáš, Daniel ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This project deals with portal-type CNC milling machine design and construction. CNC milling machine should be able to machining light metals and alloys. This document contains description of mechanical components selection, machine frame design and building, design and construction of USB motion control unit and also contains control software description and user manual.
Utilization of FPGA circuits in multilevel inverters
Repčík, Juraj ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
Tento projekt zkoumá vybrané způsoby implementace víceúrovňových měničů do praxe. V předložené práci je do hloubky prezentována tzv. ANPC (Active Neutral Point Clamped) pětiúrovňová topologie. Výsledný měnič umožňuje autonomní provoz a umožňuje generovat přesné a stabilní výstupní napětí.
Membraneless speaker
Kovář, Josef ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis consists of theoretic basics and describes the design and construction of one-channel membraneless speaker. Absence of mechanical components gives the membraneless speaker no frequency limitation. The design consists of power source, control electronics, which modulates the signal, convertor and output transformer. The power source is realized by transformer, which lowers the voltage and stabilizators. Modulation is provided by integrated circuit TL 594, its duty is adjusted by potentiometer P1 and frequency by potentiometer P2. Power conversion provides dual forward converter. As a output transformer was used transformer from color television.
Autonomous bathroom airconditioner system
Zapletal, Ladislav ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The work deals with the design, theoretical analysis and implementation procedure of the system, which according to the collected data adequately switch heating mirrors pads, exhaust ventilation system, and according to the needs open and close the heating valve to work as a thermostat. The aim was to construct a system that is based on obtained data to separately switch peripherals according to set values and so respond to the current changes of climatic conditions in the measuring point. The work also explains the components of the device and their mutual involvement. It also lists examples of program code that were used to create algorithms in microcontroller and PC applications.
Home automatization system based on Raspberry Pi
Lokajíček, Lukáš ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design of the Smart Home System (SHS), which takes advantage of the 'Raspberry Pi' single-board computer. Background research about the theoretical concept of SHS is carried out, which reveals weaknesses in that field. The aim of the thesis is elimination these weak points and takes into account reliability, extensibility and low acquisition price. The practical part is introduced by design of particular modules, which include both hardware design and software. The project is concluded with integration all components into the single functional universal system together with the extensibility presentation.
Drive assistant
Trýska, Tomáš ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The drive assistant is a device designed for application in sportscars not provided with a sufficient amount of gauges showing the state of engine and drivetrain. These gauges usually show pressures, temperatures, voltage, and other quantities. The values are shown on a graphic display as two analog indicators. The states are selected using a touch panel. The device is equipped with four ultrasonic detectors, which are used for parking assist and warning against collision with a vehicle in blind angle.
