Measuring of Corporate Environmental, Social, Economic and Corporate Governance Performance

The aim of the doctoral thesis is to design and verify a model measuring complex corporate performance integrating environmental, social, economic and Corporate Governance performance in a selected sector of CZ – NACE. The model was constructed in six steps. A basic set of key performance indicators was designed by a synthesis of findings from preliminary research and analysis of approaches of international institutions that deal with the issue of corporate sustainability. Through a questionnaire survey a relevance of a proposed basic set of key performance indicators was verified. Key performance indicators were verified on a group of companies which have more than 250 employees and belong to a CZ – NACE 27.1 Manufacture of electric motors, generators, transformers and electricity distribution and control apparatus. Subsequently, a reduction of a number of key performance indicators was done by statistical methods so that the explanatory power of the model has been retained as much as possible. In order to model reflect a reality, weights that express an influence of key performance indicators on corporate performance and sustainability were assigned to key performance indicators. Through a literature research a benchmarks for a reduced set of key performance indicators were determined in order to quantify a performance gap. Key performance indicators were aggregated into a single aggregate indicator measuring complex corporate performance by an additive method.

The Evaluation of the Financial Situation’s Company

The bachelor thesis is interesting for evaluating for the financial situation of the company by using methods of financial analysis. The thesis is divided into three parts - theoretical, practical and proposal part. The first part includes theoretical approaches, which is indicated what means the financial analysis, what it does and what are its methods. Next is a practical part where examine statements of the company and are calculated financial indicators. The last part is based on the results of the financial analysis stated suggestions and recommendations, which should lead to improving the currently financial situation of the company.

Economic and Financial Measurement and Evaluation of the Company Using the Balanced Scorecard Method

This Master´s thesis deals with the design and implementation of the Balanced Scorecard concept in the company. The work was divided into four main sections. In the first part, the reader is acquainted with the main goal of the work, then the methods and procedures of work processing are introduced. The next part focuses on the theoretical basis needed to complete the work, which clarifies the concept of business performance, strategic analysis and focuses on financial analysis, but the greatest emphasis is placed on the Balanced Scorecard method. The third part is practically oriented, first the analyzed company, its history and field of business are introduced, followed by SWOT, PESTLE and financial analysis. The last part, the actual solutions are based on the information obtained and represents the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard concept in the company in order to increase its performance.

The intention of this thesis is to assess whether it is economically advantageous formation of water prizes with using elements of price discrimination. The first part of thesis defines the theoretical basis on which it is based on practical part. The analytic part is dealing with cost of production and distribution of water, prizes of water and adequate profit in company. There is also described the current situation in the market including legislation related to the issue. The last part is own proposals for pricing.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the performance of the company XY, s.r.o. in 2016-2020. The first part is theoretical, where the financial analysis and individual indicators are explained. The second part is analytical, where the indicators defined in the theoretical part are used to perform a financial analysis of the company. The last part contains suggestions for improving the situation of the company based on the results of the financial analysis.

The first part contains the theoretical basis of the work, the second part includes an analysis of the current state of the company, including the application of the formulas given in the theory. The third part consists of proposals for measures that could improve the current stat of the analyzed company.

The bachelor thesis is focused on performance evaluation of the financial situation of Bawel s.r.o. in the years from 2012 to 2016. The work contains three parts. In the first part we find the theoretical basis which explains what is the performance of the company, the financial analysis and the characteristics of the selected methods. The second analytical part deals with the description of the company and it is assortment and calculations of selected indicators. In the last part, due to the calculated results, is about outlined proposals to improve the financial situation.

Bitcoin volatility estimation

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na ekonometrické modelování a predikci volatility Bitcoinu. První částí práce je teorie statistických vlastností časových řad a modely interpretující tyto vlastnosti. Praktická část je zaměřena na modelování, predikci a hodnocení přesnosti predikcí. Klíčovými modely jsou model klouzavého průměru, autoregresní model, ARCH a GARCH. Poslední částí je shrnutí výsledků a návrhy na zlepšení.
