A comparative kineziologic analysis of the javelin throw and selected training exercises
Pavelková, Pavla ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Vystrčilová, Martina (referee)
Title: A Comparative Kineziologic Analysis of the Javelin Throw and Selected Training Exercises Purposes: The goal of this study is to compare the engagement of selected muscles in the shoulder girdle area during javelin throwing and certain training exercises. Methods: Surface electromyography combined with cinematographic analysis using synchronized video recording. Results: The timing of muscle activation during javelin throwing (side stand) differs from that of certain training exercises. The studied exercises were: javelin throw from the frontal stand, ball throw from the side and the frontal stand, throw simulation using rubber expander and pulley. The timing is similar when different grip (so called fork grip) is used during side stand javelin throw. Key words: shoulder girdle, surface electromyography, kinematic analysis.
The influence of sports load on the shoulder joint in discus and javeling throwers and shot-putters
Pavelková, Pavla ; Špaňhelová, Šárka (advisor) ; Teyssler, Petr (referee)
Shoulder joint pain is a common phenomenon faced by javelin throwers, shot putters and discus throwers. Basic anatomical findings related to the glenohumeral joint are summarized in this work, followed by a description of the kinesiology of movement in the glenohumeral joint. Performed movement analysis of each sport makes the imagination of movements carried out during the throw easy. The chapter on the differential diagnostics of shoulder joint pain summarizes both transferred, muscle and joint pain. The final chapter examines the effect of kinetic activities on an athlete's joint. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
