Pacáková, Michaela ; Šulová, Lenka (advisor) ; Morávková, Kateřina (referee)
In the period of adolescence there is a considerable social development. Relationships with parents and relationships with peers are transformed. First romantic partnerships are formed. These usually form within the context of a peer group, in which the relationship is shaped and further developed. Romantic relationships in adolescence are considerably variable in terms of the age, at which they first arise, the duration and the degree of intimacy and commitment. The closest social circle of an adolescent plays significant part in choosing a romantic partner. Within the family adolescent's attachment style is formed, which is important for the development of other relationships. Being in a romantic relationship affects individual's social status within the peer group. When choosing a romantic partner it is also important to consider adolescent's preferences about the characteristics of their potential partner. In a part of research proposal is presented a project of qualitative character. It aspires to create an anchored theory of preferences of Czech adolescents regarding their ideal and contemporary partner and the transformation of these preferences depending on the age and experience.
