The bachelorś thesis analyses the management of the municipality Syrovice. It contains theoretical information about the municipalities, their possession, the management of the possession and the control of the municipality's management. In the practical part the theoretical knowledge is applied to the municipality of Syrovice. The modified financial analysis of the municipality is done. The last part of the bachelor's thesis mentions suggestions of improving the financing of the municipality and its management of the possesion.

It includes theoretical knowledge about the functioning of non-profit organizations with a focus on financing, donor recruitment and methods of evaluation of their effectiveness. Analytical part applies the lessons arising from the theoretical to the practical level. In this section there are methods aimed at measuring of the performance of the organization. The aim of the diploma thesis entitled "The IKEA Phenomenon: Philosophy of Marketing and Strategic Communication from the Early Days to the Present" is to trace the main ideas behind the creation of the IKEA phenomenon, to trace what strategy and communication tools were used by its founder Ingvar Kamprad in the beginnings of the company. While it is not only about the initial vision of the company, a characteristic feature of IKEA's marketing and communication is the fact that it affects clients in the long term, it is a process of a long-term series of client-oriented communication procedures. IKEA is also rated as a pioneer of internal communication. The philosophy of building the company includes orientation towards the family and the home, solving questions and problems of everyday life, searching for rational solutions, keeping the price of products affordable while maintaining good quality, trying to stay "in" thanks to modern design. In the theoretical part, the thesis generally introduces the meaning and role of strategic communication of business companies and its individual aspects. Biometrie a kondice prasete divokého (Sus scrofa) s ohledem na vegetační stupňovitost

The content of this thesis is the evaluation of biometric data of wild boar (Sus scrofa L.) collected in 2014–2019 at sites throughout the Czech Republic. The data evaluation sought to relate the observed body parameters to forest vegetation stages. Emphasis was placed on the parameter of fat thickness as an indicator of body condition, and body parameters of weight after emergence, body length and chest height were also worked with. Differences in body parameters based on age, sex and forest vegetation stages were sought and statistical significance of these factors was tested. A weak correlation was found between some body parameters in the piglet category. Furthermore, fat thickness was found to be related to the sex of individuals older than 12 months. Fat thickness increased with age in females at all age classes while males reached their total fat height at the end of the first year of life. There was a strong correlation of body length parameter with weight and chest height of individuals.

Use of media in English lessons in Czechia

The aim of this diploma thesis, entitled "Use of Media in English Lessons in the Czech Republic" is to evaluate the use of old, classic and new media in teaching English in Czech primary and secondary schools, as well as in private lessons conducted by English language tutors. In the first part, the work introduces old and new media in the Czech education system and individual types of new media, presents historical media used for teaching English in our countries, provides an overview of the media used at the present time and, above all, introduces websites and applications developed for teaching English. The results of recent studies dedicated to the investigated issue are also presented. The research objective of the practical part is the analysis of the answers of 50 educators obtained using a questionnaire survey, answers to questions regarding the use of old and new media in the teaching of the English language, namely in the time before the coronavirus pandemic, in the time of distance learning during the pandemic and now, as well as qualitative research of the most used new media tools in English lessons. LGB parenting

This thesis summarizes current situation of LGB parenting in Czech republic and in the world. It deals with actual attitudes of public, outcomes of researches, legislative adjustment and trends in this domain. Work examines negotiations of participants and movement of recent discussion. It tries to analyze all aspects of LGB parenting in accordance with scholarly publications on this theme. The attention is aimed at process in Czech republic since year 2006, when the registered partnership was codified. This thesis considers a progressive antidiscrimination and legalization of homosexuals in history and a social changes in perception of their parenting. The result should be an compact synthesis of present circumstances of homosexuals parenting question.

Twenty Years of the TV Show Kouzelná školka (Magic Kindergarten) in the Czech Television

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Twenty Years of the TV Show Magic Kindergarten on the Czech Television" deals with the TV show Magic Kindergarten for preschool children on the Czech television public broadcasting. The goal of the thesis is to find and describe basic changes of the show in the period of twenty years of its broadcasting history. Before the research part, the issue of broadcasting for children and its specifics, the history of composed television shows for children in the Czech Republic and the current state of composed TV shows for children are introduced. Following part of the thesis is dedicated to the TV show Magic Kindergarten - basic description and characteristics of the cited composed television show designed for the youngest viewers. The research goal is to trace changes in both formal side of the show - its length, formal structure, design of the studio, music component, graphics, moderation, and changes in the content - content structure of the show, characteristics of broadcasted shows, content of hosts' inputs, all that on the sample of forty episodes (two episodes for each year of the Magic Kindergarten 1999-2019). Research methods consist of the study of specialized literature, content analysis and comparative research on separate episodes of the sample.

The aim was to tell whether shopping on the Internet is rational. The work deals with theories of rationality and bounded rationality theories from the perspective of sociological, economic and psychological approaches. All theories agree that the man is rational, selects the most efficient option of possible behavior. Whether the benefits gained are economic, social or psychological. From this broad perspective, it is clear that people in most cases their actions are rational, because even the deepest emotions have some rational basis, however, that over the centuries They lost its effectiveness. Supervisor's e-mail address: on@karel.troja.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Abstract: This work evaluates macroseismic observations of the earthquake swarm which occurred in West Bohemia in 2008. The first chapters are devoted to the explanation of basic terms, the geological description of the region and the history of earthquakes in the region. The historical development of macroseismic scales and a detailed description of the EMS-98, used for the evaluation of the 2008 earthquake swarm data, are contained in the following chapters. The main part of the present work deals with the manual macroseismic evaluation of the swarm followed by a description of the program for the automatic evaluation of data. The program results were found to agree with the manual evaluation. In the next part there is a detailed description of a program for drawing isoseismal lines.
