Development of Method for Visualization and Measuring of Temperature Fields in Air with using Thermovision Camera
Pešek, Martin ; Šafařík,, Pavel (referee) ; Černecký,, Jozef (referee) ; Pavelek, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with the measurement of temperature fields in the air using an infrared camera. The dissertation describes the opportunity of measuring the temperature field in the air and the characterization of the developed measuring method. In the next part there are introduced the beginning of thermography imaging and the field of usability of the new infrared measuring method. Further, the theoretical foundations of the thermography measuring method in the temperature fields in the air are described. In the theoretic background there are described the analysis of heat conduction in an auxiliary material, the determination of dynamic properties of the method and the analysis of radiation, which has an influence on infrared imagining. This method requires an insertion of the auxiliary material into the non-isothermal air flow, which can allow for the study of the temperature distribution in air. For effective visualization of temperature fields in the air using an infrared camera, the selection of the appropriate auxiliary material, on which the air temperature displays, is crucial. In the next part of the doctoral thesis, there is a description of static measuring properties of auxiliary materials. The usability range of the measuring method is determined from these properties. In the thesis there are presented the description of the device for the measurement of 2D temperature fields in the air and the description of the measuring device for 3D measurements of temperature fields in the air using an infrared camera, which can also be used for measurements of temperature fields in small enclosed spaces through a viewing window. For the practical use of the method, the detailed methodology of measuring temperature fields in the air by an infrared camera was developed and its applicability was demonstrated on practice examples. The developed measuring method can be used in many areas of research and in practice.
Methods of moisture separation
Pokorný, Vojtěch ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
General properties of moist air are written in introductory part of this final thesis. It includes description of moisture, this is important for determination the state in which the air is. The main part of this thesis are analysis methods, which are leading to reduce moisture in the air. These processes are illustrated in the Molliere diagram. In the final part are the moisture separation systems, which we can use in practice.
Heat radiators.
Zygmont, Martin ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis gives an overview of heating elements, their division into four basic groups and a description of each body. Also listed are the essential characteristics of the individual elements and their behavior in the heating systems. This work also deals with the influence of certain characteristics of heating elements in their behavior and presents the advantages and disadvantages of heating elements.
Implementation of Algorithms Based on Decision Trees in C#
Grolig, Lukáš ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Stríž, Rostislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on selection of data mining algorithms based on decision trees for an analytical system developed under the project System for the Internet security increase based on malware spreading analysis. Selected algorithms are described in greater detais, as well as their implementation in the C# language. These algorithms are then tested with regards to their training speed and classification accuracy. Finally, this thesis presents further conclusions and recommendations  based on performed experiments.
Knowledge Discovery in Spatio-Temporal Data
Pešek, Martin ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with knowledge discovery in spatio-temporal data, which is currently a rapidly evolving area of research in information technology. First, it describes the general principles of knowledge discovery, then, after a brief introduction to mining in the temporal and spatial data, it focuses on the overview and description of existing methods for mining in spatio-temporal data. It focuses, in particular, on moving objects data in the form of trajectories with an emphasis on the methods for trajectory outlier detection. The next part of the thesis deals with the process of implementation of the trajectory outlier detection algorithm called TOP-EYE. In order to testing, validation and possibility of using this algorithm is designed and implemented an application for trajectory outlier detection. The algorithm is experimentally evaluated on two different data sets.
Heat pumps – practical experience
Dvořák, Vlastimil ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The main aim of the bachelor‘s work is to collect available data about realized projects of heat pumps and to consider their suitability, convenience and economic return of the investment. Further objective is to consider the economy viewpoint of heat pumps and suitability of their instalations.
Predicting Future Location of a Moving Object
Kebísek, Ján ; Stríž, Rostislav (referee) ; Pešek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and the implementation of the application for predicting future location of a moving object. It describes a method for prediction based on the algorithm WhereNext. This algorithm obtains T-Patterns from a database of trajectories of objects, which represent frequent patterns of movement of objects, and those subsequently uses for prediction. The algorithm was implemented in programming language Java and its functionality was tested on a generated dataset of movement of cars.
Energy and economic assessment of heating of family house using heat pump
Pešek, Martin ; Krejčí, Vladimír (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis is concerned with selection of the optimal heat pump for model family house heating (and domestic hot water – DHW - preparation) where the preferred aspect is the fastest economic return. As a part of the diploma thesis there is an introduction into the heat pumps field and also heat pumps dividing according to their lowpotential heat withdrawing. Calculating part includes both heat loss and electric energy consumption calculation of the object. Moreover there is stated a presentation of leading heat pump producers in the Czech Republic, including their price bids which are compared with their economic return. In conclusion there is presented an economic comparison of electric energy consumption of the object which is provided with the heat pump in contrast to other regular heating systems.
An assessment of returnability of solar collectors installation in low-energy family house
Hrbata, Jiří ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Increasing of standard of living, automation and mechanization of production and industrial growth lead into energy need growth. At the same time the energy prices continuously rise and it is still more preferable to use renewable energy, particularly solar radiation. This thesis contains basic information about usefulness of solar radiation, solar collectors and ways of their integration into heating systems. Particularly, it deals with the assessment of returnability of solar collectors instalation in the low energy family house. It contains calculations of necessary heat for heating, hot water heating and energy gains from solar collectors. Returnability assessment is demonstrated on concrete example.
Access Control in Web Applications
Pešek, Martin ; Masopust, Tomáš (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with problems of access control in web applications and used methods of authentication and authorization. It describes the process of the design and the implementation of the component for access control in web applications developped in PHP 5.
