This academic work is based on remarkable works of economists Ramsey, Cass, Koopmans and Kaldor, it brings closer the intertemporal growth theory and its empirical implications on the Czech economy. Simply the purpose of this academic work is to analyse investment and its development in the Czech economy, theoretically identify and empirically study it. Furthermore, to monitor investments by different types and sectors. The study also is committing to better comprehension of mutual effects of capital formation and economic growth.
Foreigners in the Czech labour market

This thesis is focused on the study into the status of foreigners in the Czech labour market. It is divided in two consecutive units, the first of which contains a theoretical basis for the functioning of labor markets (segments of the labour market, the historical context of labour migration in our country and the legislative framework applicable to the economically active foreigners in the Czech Republic). Another section is devoted to analytical exploration of the topic. It is dealt with the structure of foreign nationals (employment offices registered with a valid trade license), by nationality, age, gender, level of education, type of work performed, etc. For the purpose of this research the author comes out of the available data published by the Czech Statistical Office, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and other sources. One aim is to present the development of the monitored data in a particular period and its subsequent analysis.

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the position of older workers in the european labour market in the context of population ageing. Global development, as well as the development in Europe, is assessed on the basis of the main demographic indicators. I try to evaluate the progress achieved in the period 2000-2009 after the summit in Lisbon. A separate chapter is devoted to demographic development and the situation of older workers in the Czech labour market.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the evolution of the total gross domestic product of the Czech Republic from 2004 to 2009. This is the planting of GDP in the broader macroeconomic context. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part aims to acquaint the reader closer to the macroeconomic analysis, gross domestic product with its definition, the basic concepts necessary to understand the whole issue and the practical part of the real factors influencing its evolution.

In the theorethical part is defition of gross domestic product, followed by description of the expenditure approach method and its components and other fundamental terms which are necessary to understand the topic including national accounts. Bachelor thesis analyses situation of foreigners on czech labour market according to their quantity, nationality, job classification and other indicators. It is focused on a term migration, above all on its causes and impacts on czech economics. Further it deals with migration policy of Czech Republic and legislative adjustments concerning this topic and through which the aim of migration policy is fulfilled. The bachelor thesis analyses developement of unemployment rate in Czech Republic,. developement of number of foreigners in Czech Republic and also foreign employment will be analysed. and described according to developement of number of foreigners on our labour market, nationality, sex, classification of employment and according to economic activity. Further this thesis deals with illegal migration and illegal foreign unemployment. Possible impacts and threats that entails foreign unemployment will be mentioned.
The comparison of the development of gross domestic product in the European Union.

The essential theme of the bachelor thesis is the issue of gross domestic product. The first objective of the thesis is to compare the development of gross domestic product in the European Union in the years from 2005 to 2010. It also pays attention to the development of gross domestic product in the Member States that are most different from the average development in the European Union. The second objective of the thesis is to analyze the gross domestic product in accordance with the manufacturing method, thus in gross value added by particular sectors. Emphasis is put both on comparing each economic sector among Member States of European Union and also on comparison of the development of each economic sector in the period before and during the economic and financial crisis from 2007 to 2010. The result of the bachelor thesis is the designation of the years with the highest or lowest gross domestic product and also the assessment of Member States on witch the economic crisis had the biggest effect.
