SIP client development in JavaME
Janeček, Aleš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
This thesis analyzes various alternatives of SIP protocol implementation on Java Micro Edition devices. This analysis is especially concentrated on SIP protocol, SIP API (JSR-180) and the development in contemporary mobile data networks. I design a midlet for a mobile phone SIP client on the basis of this analysis. The design is especially concentrated on communication, registration and text mesage transfer.
Object tracking using computer vision
Klapal, Matěj ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with posibilities of tracking object movement using computer vision algorithms. First chapters contain review of methods used for background subtraction, there are also listed basic detection approaches and thesis also mentions algorithms which allows tracking and movement prediction. Next part of this work informs about algoritms implemented in resulting software and its graphical user interface. Evaluation and comparison of original and modified algorithms is stationed at the end of this text.
Identification of persons on the basis of soft biometric and non-biometric traits
Prorok, Josef ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is study the possibility of identifying individuals based on soft biometric and non-biometric traits, the selection of appropriate soft biometric and non-biometric traits, subsequent verification success identification methods or partial identification of persons on real data and implementation methods with HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL.
Head Pose Estimation and Tracking
Camera security of the object with low data flow
Vašková, Barbora ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of this master's thesis is devoted to design and realization of autonomous camera system of the selected object with possibility of remote access. The content of the theoretical part is description of components of the camera system and close analysis of the used software, including the selection of suitable components. The practical part is approaching to the initial installation of the system and verification of the functionality of individual components based on simple commands. The next step is developing an mobile application comunicattting with the camera system based on low data flow.
Modern compression formats of digital image
Eder, Radek ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problems of digital image compression. There are described basic color models RGB and YCbCr and conversion between them. Described are currently used codecs for digital images. JPEG compression format is discussed in more detail, which currently is still the most widely used format for digital photos. Described is a process of digitizing the image using the JPEG standard, which includes sampling, quantization and coding. Described are also formats JPEG2000, PNG and WebP. End of chapter are described methods for subjective and objective evaluation of the quality of digital image compression. Among the subjective methods include Double Stimulus Impairment Scale (DSIS) and Double Stimulus Continuous Quality Scale (DSCQS), then the objective methods include Mean Squared Error (MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) a Structural Similarity (SSIM). Application was created as part of the work that allows you to compress the source image to the selected formats. It also allows a qualitative evaluation of compression and store the results to the file.
Interactive web applications for education of color theory
Koroleva, Anfisa ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of interpretation of colors and color images in computer graphics. Specifically, the work is focused on the development of simple web applications – applets that will serve for interactive submission of methods used in the field of computer processing of color images. The created applets should demonstrate the relevant theory relating to color mixing in different color models, conversion of a color image to a gray-scale image, conversion of a gray-scale image to a false-color image, conversion of physical light into CIE XYZ and L*a*b* color spaces. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical basis for the required applets. The following practical part is dedicated to the process of implementing the applets using JavaScript and HTML.
System for preventing unauthorised persons from entering platform areas
Jílek, Michal ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the design of a non-existent security system to secure the station from unauthorized persons, which will increase the level and quality of travel for passengers. The system uses computer vision and software developed in C ++ with the OpenCV library. The practical part describes the development of the ticket detector, comparison with the model and validation of the ticket using OCR.
Image noise reduction method based on discrete wavelet transform
Holiš, Michal ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Malý, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis contains theoretical treatise on noises, which occur in digital visual data, their classification and possibilities of their removal. The next part is applied to theory of wavelets, wavelet transforms and their usage in working with one-dimensional, but mostly with two-dimensional signals. It is than mainly applied on visual data with a view to removing of failures contained in these data. The last part of the thesis is about implementation of demonstrational programme. This programme is created for removing of noise from the chosen visual data on the basis of user's chosen variables.
Automatic vocal-oriented recognition of human emotions
Houdek, Miroslav ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Atassi, Hicham (advisor)
This master thesis concerns with emotional states and gender recognition on the basis of speech signal analysis. We used various prosodic and cepstral features for the description of the speech signal. In the text we describe non-invasive methods for glottal pulses estimation. The described features of speech were implemented in MATLAB. For their classification we used the GMM classifier, which uses the Gaussian probability distribution for modeling a feature space. Furthermore, we constructed a system for recognition of emotional states of the speaker and a system for gender recognition from speech. We tested the success of created systems with several features on speech signal segments of various lengths and compared the results. In the last part we tested the influence of speaker and gender on the success of emotional states recognition.
