Detection of plagiatorism in software projects in the BDS course
Szymutko, Marek ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
Plagiarism is a widespread problem, which can be fought by prevention or detection methods. This thesis contains a summary of plagiarism detection methods through automated means. To parse source code, an open-source abstract syntax tree compiler was employed. The functionality of this compiler was demonstrated in this thesis. To reduce the mutual visibility of students’ projects, a proposal for the submission process was created. GitLab cloud service was employed for this purpose. Initialization of these students’ spaces is performed via Bash scripts. Other scripts to archive and create spaces for groups of students in the GitLab service were also created. A similarity-detecting tool was created in Python programming language. This tool was specialized to be employed in the subject BPC-BDS for the detection of plagiarism in students’ assignments written in Java or Python. It can also be used in other subjects though. For similarity detection, numerical metrics and abstract syntax trees were used. The comparison output of the projects and their individual parts is represented with integer value and outputted into a tabular file of the format xlsx. This thesis also summarizes the strengths and weaknesses of the implemented solution and lists problems that were encountered in the process of implementation. A case study about plagiarism in the subject BDS in the academic year 2022/2023 is also included in this thesis.
QR code detection using deep learning
Černohous, Matěj ; Kříž, Petr (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an algorithm for detecting and decoding QR codes in images using deep learning techniques. The work involved the construction of 2 datasets, a YOLOv7 neural network model for detecting QR codes in images, a YOLOv4-tiny neural network model for detecting position markers of QR codes, and a Python program utilizing these models to read QR codes in images. For evaluation, the algorithm was compared with other options for QR code reading.
Fire and smoke detection in video
Buzovský, Viktor ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
Thesis deals with possibilities regarding detection of fire and smoke in real enviroment video. The main task is to choose suitable model, train this model, and improve detection capabilities of the model afterwards. First part of thesis is summary of theoritical knowledge needed to have understanding of discussed technical necessities. The second, practical part presents the learned model and its subsequent attempts at improvement, firstly using optical flow and then using additional classification networks. The work is concluded with a final implementation for the detector of fire and smoke, and a proposal for its potential improvement is presented. The work also includes the datasets used and created, among other things.
Multi-shuttle control system
Surový, Roman ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is the design of a partial concept and technical solution for the control system of carts that move within the racking system both horizontally and vertically. It is mainly about solving the problem of communication between individual trucks and planning the optimal route with safety in mind. The proposed system is implemented and verified in laboratory conditions. As part of the diploma’s work, the overall concept of the system is designed, the proposed method of intercar communication and verified in laboratory conditions.
Forensic analysis of handwriting for the Czech environment using artificial intelligence
Stejskal, Jan ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
The analysis of handwriting is an important area of research in modern science. However, it is a very complex process because handwritten text can take on various forms. The use of artificial intelligence for analyzing and identifying text from different authors is nothing new in the world. Research in this area is, however, slightly lagging behind in the Czech environment. For this reason, several convolutional network architectures were proposed and compared in this work in an effort to find the most suitable structure for solving this problem. Of all the trained and tested models, the model based on the ResNet18 architecture achieved the highest accuracy, with a success rate of 92.2 % on a self-made database of 1328 samples with a resolution of 750x256. This result suggests that with a sufficiently large and high-quality database, the problem can be solved even in the Czech environment with its more complicated character set.
Helmet for Virtual and Augmented Reality
Buš, Ondřej ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the construction of a functional headset for multimedia content consumption. The acquired theoretical knowledge was used in the design and construction of the resulting headset. The theoretical knowledge was consolidated and extended by practical tests on currently available commercial AR/VR headset solutions. In the practical design, increased effort was made to keep the resulting solution as simple as possible. The components that were used in the work can be obtained relatively easily via the internet. With the help of advanced techniques, the thesis tries to optimize the visual experience. The most suitable parameters of the optical lenses are selected. The optical system is enhanced to provide an extended horizontal field of view. The thesis discusses the fabrication of the headset using the 3D printing method on a 3D printer. Subsequently, the individual parts are assembled into a single functional unit. The result of the thesis is a working prototype headset suitable for multimedia content consumption.
Real-time voice command recognition system
Šíbl, Evžen ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a system for voice command recognition. The classifier of this system was created using a neural network. In this thesis you will learn about the history and problems of speech recognition. A system has been created that detects a section in a recording containing a speech signal, which then uses the classifier to decide what word from the word table it is. Three models with the same architecture but with different training data were created. These models were then compared with each other. A simple user interface was created for the resulting system.
Advanced image analysis using deep neural networks
Hynek, Vojtěch ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Kiac, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of object detection in images using a convolutional neural network. The result of this work is a custom dataset, a neural network model YOLOv4 and a script used to process the resulting model data. The dataset contains 8080 images on which 14 objects are annotated. The neural network model was reduced in depth, which significantly increased the speed of the detection itself. The script processing the resulting data calculates the 3D and GPS coordinates of the detected object in space. The paper concludes by summarizing the results of the model and at the same time suggesting how the quality of the dataset could be improved.
Camera surveillance system
Lazarević, Veljko ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the introduction and design of a camera system. The theoretical part briefly deals with the description of individual components and basic parameters of the camera system, especially the personal protection. Security systems today rely heavily on cameras. Cameras can be useful in identifying potential threats and protecting people and property. It is important to take precautionary measures to protect yourself and your property. This bachelor thesis deals with various camera systems, namely analog, hybrid and currently digital. The practical part is about the design, installation and maintenance of a digital camera system.
Image and Video Interpretation of Sound Data
Milota, Vojtěch ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with image and video interpretation of sound data. It focuses on time variant parameters of sound and musical signal and its analysis. Different approaches of image and video interpretation of musical data and its evolution is investigated. The work consists of realisation of image and video interpretation using different software tools and methods. Possible development of audio-visual production using latest tools is predicted.
