Powertrain design of a ten-cylinder aircraft engine
Kopřiva, Martin ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Configuration of the powertrain of a flat-engine with ordered basic parameters is the theme of this final thesis which name is Powertrain design of ten-cylinder aircraft engine. This thesis is occupied with configuration design of the crank mechanism and firing order, balancing of centrifugal and reciprocating forces thein moments, conceptual design crankshaft and its stress calculation of torsional vibrations.
Cranktrain of three-cylinder in-line disel engine
Kovář, Pavel ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes design and comparison of three variants of the crankshaft in-line diesel engine for commercial vehicles. The work focuses on working with programs for 3D modelling and analysis proposed models, to be able to work under difficult conditions. Part of this work is a computational modal and strength analysis.
Chassis of racing motorcycles
Kudr, Jan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Those theses describe complex of motorbike chassis and components from racing sector. Here is explained geometry of motorbike chassis and impact to riding properties. Geometry of motorbike chassis and driving style are closely linked with adjusting of damping and springing. In the end, depending on chassis adjustment tires can show us how good or how bad is adjusted the chassis.
Powertrains of BMW cars
Guláš, Tomáš ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with the powertrains of the Munich carmaker BMW. It evaluates their historical development, focuses on the interesting innovative solutions in this domain, describes the current status and the success of BMW in the world market, points to a wide perspective and vision for the future car.
Motor pump control unit
Novák, Vlastimil ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Vlastimil Novak Motor pump control unit DW, IAE, 2008, 48 pp. 54 fig. The terget of diploma work is measure od progression of vibration on motor pump control unit of electro-hydraulic servo unit placed on a vehicle. At first, a proposal of testing of vehicle for given characteristics have been created and placement of sensors and compare measured data of load of control unit in different vehicle ride modes.
Hydrogen fuel for internal combustion engines
Polnický, Václav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Knowledge of all ower the world research, dealing with hydrogen combustion engines, were sumarized in this bachelor thesis. Ways of hydrogen production and its storing are mentioned too. This paper is focused especially to hydrogen-air mixture formation and its ignition solving. Some samples of hydrogen cars –booth of prototypes and serial products- were introduced too.
Engines for ultralight airplanes
Voltr, Martin ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the collection of information about the power units for ultralight aircrafts. It deals with their design solutions, technical parameters and usability. In the next part we will find a comparison of these units according to the characteristic parameters. The work also briefly describes the history, legislation and issues of ultralight aircrafts and their propulsion units.
Autonomous control of the vehicle through image processing
Fronc, Leoš ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of autonomous vehicles and especially lane detection. The paper describes and compares two main approaches to the lane detection - using traditional methods of computer vision and convolutional neural networks. The aim of the work was to create a system that would be able to recognize road lanes in a real time. The proposed system consisted of a Jetson Nano computer, a ZED stereo camera and a programmed algorithm. In total, two algorithms have been developed that use completely different approaches. Finally, the whole system was tested in terms of functionality and lane recognition.
Four-cylinder in-line diesel engine with an eccentric crank for commercial vehicles
Ducheček, Martin ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the influence of eccentricity of crank mechanism to the force between the piston and the cylinder liner for appointed crank mechanism. Furthermore the influence of eccentricity to balancing crankshaft is verified and for selected value of eccentricity is realized balance. For the construction check was realized stress analysis of crank mechanism included torsion vibration.
Gearbox design of a petrol six-cylinder aircraft engine
Novák, Lukáš ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is about design of reducer for six-cylinder aircraft engine. There are processed every parts of reducer and the assembly with crankshaft, torsional vibration of complete assembly and calculation of service life of every individual part.
