Library for Processing of epub Files
Válek, Roman ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with an analysis of the EPUB format version 3.0 serving for the electronic publication. On this basis it presents the library designed to work with files in the EPUB format and describes its implemantation. The thesis also deals with the library interface and its usage for applications processing the EPUB files. The simple demonstration application performing a conversion of the Markdown format to the EPUB format is presented.
USB Flashdrives Virus Detector Implemented in RaspberryPi
Polehňa, Dominik ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the analysis of internet security and the implementation of USB flashdrives virus detector. We will firstly analyze the basics of viruses and antiviruses and from gained knowledge we are going to create an automatic virus detector which doesn't need an user intervention. For impelementation will be used a platform Raspberry Pi and programming language Python.
A Monitoring and Aggregation Device for Large Amounts of Industry Data
Held, Oliver ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes hardware and software development of a monitoring device for the collection of industrial big data. The device is based on the development BeagleBone Black kit together with vibration sensors, temperature sensors and strain gauges. The objective of the thesis is to design a device with respect to low production cost, simplicity and possible modularity. The I2C bus and embedded AD converter are used for the collection of the data from the sensors. The data is sent to remote server using UDP protocol. Furthermore, custom strain gauge module is designed and tested. The practical contribution of the thesis is to test the platform functionality, that includes collection, aggregation and transfer of the data.
Itirenary Planning Application
Filák, Tomáš ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of an application for planning itineraries. The application aims to simplify the planning of the entire travel and provide a tool for the user to create multiple travel versions. These versions can also be compared with each other in both financial and time aspects. The application provides a clear and attractive user's interface along with features which make the entire process of planning easier. Such features, for example, include autocompleting of location names from the Google Map database or automatic currency conversion according to the current Czech national bank rate.
Lossless Data Compression for IP Networks
Pánek, Richard ; Kajan, Michal (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with data compression methods in IP networks. The LZW compression algorithm and its history is described more in detail. This algorithm is tested on the di erent types of IP tracffic. It is shown that depending on the traffic type it is possible to reduce data to 70% of its original size. As the final implementation of the LZW algorithm is intented for use in the FPGA the results from high level synthesis (from C to VHDL language) are fi nally described.
Evolutionary Design of Combinational Circuits on Computer Cluster
Pánek, Richard ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Hrbáček, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with evolutionary algorithms and how them to use to design of combinational circuits. Genetic programming especially CGP is the most applicable to use for this type of task. Furthermore, it deals with computation on computer cluster and the use of evolutionary algorithms on them. For this computation is the most suited island models with CGP. Then a new way of recombination in CGP is designed to improve them. This design is implemented and tested on the computer cluster.
Regress Testing in the Telco Area
Pamánek, Martin ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the problematics of the telecommunication. It describes basic elements of telecommunication networks and focuses on the communication using different interafces between the elements. This process is also known as mediation. Software tools responsible for data transfers between the network elements are rapidly evolving due to a growing functionality of the telecommunication networks. The maintenance costs are considerable and growing as well. This thesis aims to reduce these costs using automation of regression testing processes in order to produce more reliable products.
Qt Based Programming Editor for Linux Systems
Hauerland, Richard ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
Objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is about design and implementation of free text editor designed for Linux. Comparison of most popular existing solutions was performed before the design and it's output serves as basis for design process. Functionalities not provided and behaviors provided only by some, mostly proprietary, solutions, were taken in account in editor design. As well functionalities for projects manipulation used in development environments were considered. Editor is implemented in C++ language with use of Qt Framework.
System for Automated Server Administration
Pavelka, Martin ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design the user interface and implement the information system as a web application. Using the custom implemented library the system communicates with GraphQL server which manages the client data. The thesis describes possible solutions for physical servers automatization. The application provides the application interface to manage virtual servers. Automatization is possible without human interaction. Connection to the virtualization technologies is handled by web interface APIs or custom scripts running in the virtual system terminal. There is a monitoring system built over project components. The thesis also describes the continuous integration using Gitlab tools. Running the configuration task is solved using the Unix CRON system.
Impact of Faults and Errors in Context of Embedded Operating Systems
