Eichlerová, Jana ; Nábělková, Mira (advisor) ; Ondrejovič, Slavomír (referee)
The subject of the thesis is the passive bilingualism of Czech children. The first part focuses on the analysis of the Czech culture and educational environment. The objective is to investigate possibilities of the youngest Czech generation to get in contact with Slovak and develop their passive bilingualism. The thesis also brings information on previous researches of the level of the Czech-Slovak passive bilingualism. The focus of the second part is the research on the feedback and results of "Slovak to Schools" project started in 2007. The project should have brought to Czech children a possibility of getting in the contact with Slovak using the special worksheets. The research shows the project has not got a lot of interest on the Czech schools. Causes could be mistakes in distribution or the lack of interest of the teachers. The research has been lead in the two rounds by e-mail communication between author and teachers of basic schools.
