Analysis of possible procedures for obtaining the ATPL qualification
Novotný, Jakub ; Imriš, Pavel (referee) ; Sklenář, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with different procedures for obtaining the ATPL qualification and is intended to serve as support for the selection of the training path for novice pilots. Special emphasis is placed on possible ways of time building and the financial demands of individual training paths.
Research of the ruin of Štamberk Castle in the context of the region
Novotný, Jakub ; Ramešová, Michaela
The paper provides an overview of the research results of the Štamberk castle carried out according to newly defined principles for the research, management and presentation of historical ruins, the aim of which is to support new solutions to increase the usability of the castle for tourism and to integrate the monument into the regional structures of localities with tourism potential. The castle was an important place within the territory of today's Highlands. The subject of the project, on which ITAM CAS has been collaborating with the Telčsko Microregion since 2020, is research into the history of the castle with a focus on the technological aspects of its construction, structural changes and demise. It includes the creation of a 3D model of the ruins in a landscape context. The project focuses on the history of lime production and the related inventory of geological sites. This research brings new information important not only for learning about the history of the castle or for studying analogous situations, but also for increasing the attractiveness of the monument for tourism. The paper first presents the current standards of research and management of ruins, then it deals with an outline of the research potential of Štamberk for the field of tourism with an emphasis on the history of the castle, mapping the landscape framework and identifying links to the regional environment. At the end, it summarizes the results so far that can be used to present the historical, cultural and natural wealth of the region with a specific link to tourism.

The ruins of a medieval castle and modern technology
Novotný, Jakub
The topic of the paper is the relationship between torsional architecture and modern technologies. First, the Report assessing innovative restoration techniques, technologies and materials used in conservation is briefly presented, which provides an overview of the most used techniques, technologies and materials for the exploration and protection of this type of monuments. Furthermore, the paper provides an overview of the progress and results of the regional cooperation project Technological research of the Štamberk castle ruins in the wider context of the region with an emphasis on the use of modern technologies.
Analysis of the flow of a bimodal suspension at the pipe wall
Chára, Zdeněk ; Matoušek, Václav ; Novotný, Jakub ; Konfršt, Jiří
In the paper, the attention is focused on the flow of bimodal suspensions, where the coarse fraction is combined with the fine fraction with the resulting effect of reducing the total pressure losses. Using the PIV and PTV methods, the flow at the bottom of the pipe is analyzed. Using this approach, the velocities of both the bimodal mixture and the individual particle velocities of the coarse fraction were obtained. The velocities of the coarse particles were higher than the velocities of the fine fraction.
Quantum chaos in finite many-body systems
Novotný, Jakub ; Stránský, Pavel (advisor) ; Cejnar, Pavel (referee)
In this work, we show, that relative oscillations in asymptotic times of microcanonical Out-of-Time-Order correlators (OTOCs) are suppressed by chaos with the size of the sys- tem. Therefore they can serve as an indicator of quantum chaos in quantum systems. We demonstrate this phenomenon on numerical results of the Out-of-Time-Order correlators from a model with hamiltonian based on the u(3) algebra. Firstly we prove, that this model can be used not only for the description of molecular vibrations, but also Bose- Einstein condensate. Then we employ several methods for the analysis of both quantum and classical chaos, namely spectral statistics such as Nearest Neighbour Spacing Distri- bution and Brody distribution, Inverse Participation Ratio, Poincaré sections, Lyapunov exponent, and the chaotic fraction of classical phase space. We compare these results with relative oscillations of microcanonical Out-of-Time-Order correlators and show, that their suppression corresponds with the chaoticity of the quantum system and the fraction of chaotic regions of the classical phase space. 1

PHARMACIES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC FROM POINT OF VIEW OF PATIENT - SPACE ZONING AND SELECT SERVICES Author: Novotný J. Tutor: Kotlářová J. * * Dept. of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: Work is focused on pharmacies in the Czech Republic from point of view of their spatial arrangement of dispensing space accessible by patients and on provision of selected services for pharmacy clients. Aim of study: Was to analyze basic division of dispensing spaces in pharmacies accessible by patients, determine the situation in pharmacies in the Czech Republic in the sphere of provision of selected services for pharmacy clients and confront findings with requirements of relevant legal standards and obligatory standpoints, capture progress in time of observed phenomenons in years 2007-2009. Methods: Questionnaire survey. Respondents - first grade students of pharmacy specialization of Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University in Hradec Kralove after completion of their practice in pharmacies. Questionnaires included data from years 2007 and 2009. Main database constituted of 158 pharmacies in 2007 and 152 pharmacies in 2009. Processing results - computer program Microsoft Excel. Results: From examined pharmacies, more than 80...
Evaluation of implementation webinars to further teachers education in Liberec region
Novotný, Jakub ; Eger, Ludvík (advisor) ; Reichel, Jiří (referee)
The work deals with the issues of webinar organizing and synchronous online learning in a virtual classroom. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part particularly pays attention to ICT and e-learning in the area of adult education and to modern trends in online communication and cooperation. The practical part is focused on the area of synchronous live learning in a virtual classroom and it evaluates the supply situation and the use of webinars in the Czech republic. The practical part also presents author's survey among the teachers in Liberec region. Lastly, it provides the webinar case study and subsequently it discusses and evaluates its progress. The diploma thesis responds to innovation in ICT and contributes to current development and the use of webinars in adult education.
A system approach to medieval ruins management
Novotný, Jakub ; Bláha, Jiří
The aim of this paper is to briefly discuss the complexity of monument care and the young heritage science disciplines on the example of historical ruins management. There is an empirical reflection on problems connected with historical ruins management presented as an introduction. The following part then presents a possible methodological interconnection of a systems approach and cultural heritage management. The next part of the paper first introduces the RUINS project in general and then one of its methodological outputs—rules and model forms for ruins. Based on practical experience, the paper concludes that the more general methodological basis and foundation of cultural heritage sites management may be general systems theory and a systems approach.
