The aim of the bachelor's thesis was the creation of individual parts of the project documentation – Documentation for Building Permits and Documentation for Building Construction. The project documentation was processed on the basis of the architectural study designed in subject AG035. The task of the bachelor's thesis was to design the G-mont Cable industrial factory, where cables will be manufactured. The area is located in the Brno-Slatina district. It extends over the Černovické terraces, it is the largest industrial zone in the Czech Republic. Currently, the land is registered as a brownfield of the former Roučka foundry. It is part of the Černovice terraces, the largest industrial zone in the Czech Republic. Currently, the land is registered as a brownfield of the former Roučka foundry. An important aspect in the design of the industrial factory was the connection of the current communication for supply to the new communication leading to the industrial hall and the appropriate orientation of the buildings to the cardinal points. The construction will be divided into an administrative part and an industrial part. These two parts will be connected by checkrooms for employees. All objects will be roofed by shading sunshades, which will optically connect the individual parts of the buildings into one building. The administrative part will consist of two two-storey buildings at different heights. There will be columns around both buildings, which will be covered with shading sunshades. The connecting building with the industrial hall will have only one floor and a terrace for employees will be available in front of it. The industrial part will consist of three halls at the same height as the administration. There will be a road around the industrial section serving freight traffic.

BUT Technology Transfer Center
Landová, Michaela ; Suchánek, Petr (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the design of an industrial building - VUT Technology Transfer Center. The work is based on a previously developed architectural study from subject AG034. The proposed plot of land is located in the Brno-Královo Pole district, specifically at the Technology Park area, near Palackého vrch. This is an undeveloped plot of land that has a very specific terrain relief. The proposed industrial area is located on the eastern edge of the plot, to enable the possible further use of the rest of the plot. The technology transfer center should primarily serve as a testing and verification center for workers and students of BUT in Brno. The campus is divided into three main parts. The first part is the entrance building where the administrative part and laboratory area are located. The second part consists of an open three-story parking lot with a technical part. Both of these buildings are accessible from Kolejní street. The last part of the area consists of production (testing) halls. Six of these rentable halls are designed in the project, and each hall has its own sanitary facilities and office space. The entrance to the plot for supply is proposed from Technická Street. A new road is created here, which ends with a roundabout. The production halls are designed in such a way that they are illuminated as much as possible. That's why a lightweight profiled cladding was used for the exterior cladding. Extensive green roofs with the possibility of placing photovoltaic panels are designed on all buildings. Green roofs should look natural and connect the building with the surroundings. The entire campus is designed in such a way that there are clearly separated functions and operations of individual objects.
Car center VW Mikulov
Chytilová, Nikola ; Suchánek, Petr (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is based on an architectural study developed in the subject AG033. This study further elaborated on the level of Documentation for building permits and subsequently Documentation for construction. The topic of the work is the design of the new Volkswagen Group car centre in Mikulov, used for distribution, warranty and post-warranty repairs and customer service of Škoda, Seat, Volkswagen and Audi cars. The object is in South Moravia, in the western part of the city of Mikulov. The land is located on a mostly flat terrain, to which Jiráskova Street adjoins from the north. Currently, the land is used only as manure storage for the neighbouring cowshed. The land is located in an industrial zone at a sufficient distance from residential buildings. The building is compositionally based on the shape of the land, and its form copies the western line of the land boundary. It is an object composed of two masses of trapezoidal plans representing the showroom and service areas, connected to each other by a block, where the warehouse is located. To achieve the building's dynamism, the showroom and service parts are higher than the warehouse part. In the service section, waist skylights are designed, which support the regularity and overall rhythm of the building's facade. On the north side of the property is the main entrance with a modified vestibule, equipped with a water area to welcome visitors. The remaining areas of the land are used for roads, parking lots for customers, employees and reserved parking spaces. The vertical supporting structure consists of steel columns based on concrete footings. Above the showroom, the horizontal supporting structure consists of steel trusses with counters, and attached steel purlins, which carry the roof's surface. In the service area, the steel lattice trusses are straight and thus form the frame structure of the belt skylights. The floor on the field will consist of a load-bearing reinforced concrete slab. The entire steel structure will be reinforced with steel weathering both in the plane of the walls and in the plane of the roof. The facade consists of insulating panels with an IPN core anchored to the supporting columns. The facade panels will be divided vertically and will be made in white and grey. The grey panels are designed in the places where the strip skylights of the service are located and will thus emphasize the vertical division and regularity of the facade.
Gmont Cable Brno
Hendrychová, Adriana ; Mikeš, Stanislav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor)
The subject of this work was the preparation of project documentation, consisting of documentation for building permits, documentation for the implementation of the construction and the design of architectural detail. The Bachelor's thesis is based on an architectural study prepared as part of the studio work of the subject AG035. The subject of the design is the new construction of the production hall of the company Gmont Cable, s.r.o., specializing in the production and assembly of cable bundles, cables and wires. The existing leasable space does not suit the expanding company. The new premises will enable the production to be moved from the existing premises and thus allow an increase in production. The proposed facility is to be located in Brno in Tuřanka Street on the site of the current brownfield site. When designing the building, emphasis was placed on the use of the narrowest part of the brownfield, not only for the possibility of future use of the remaining part of the land, but especially for the presentation and visibility of the building and the company from the main road. The ground plan of the shape of he building is based on the boundaries of the brownfield site. Essential for the expression of the building are the sawtooth roofs over the production halls complemented by a walkable green roof. The pilasters are a distinctive feature of the administration area, providing articulation and screening of the glazed areas. In terms of function, the building is divided into a two-storey administration and a single-storey production part with storage and dispatching. Between the administrative and the production part there is an atrium serving as a resting place for the workers. The proposal addresses both the stand-alone building and the connection to the adjacent surroundings.
