Geochemical and isotopic dating of recent flood sediments of Morava River
Nováková, Tereza
This study was focused on fluvial sedimentary records in the southern part of Morava River - all studied profiles are situated in the study area called Strážnické Pomoraví. Geochemical dating methods and analysis which were applied on river sedimentary records in profiles in this part of Morava River; were performed to show that fluvial sedimentary records are useful environmental archives for determination of anthropogenic contamination in the last 100 - 200 years. Determination of depth dependence of heavy metals - especially Pb, Zn and Cu and other methods such as determination of Pb isotopic ratios and magnetic susceptibility were used for chemostratigraphic correlation of studied profiles. Cation exchange capacity, lithological description of profiles and elementary analysis using EDXRF were used for facial description of profiles. Possibility of using the 137Cs method for geochemical dating of sedimentary profiles was also investigated.

Title: Patients' adherence to physiotherapy Background: Physiotherapy includes many techniques, which can be effective during a treatment of musculoskeletal system. It is up to each patient, how he or she will approach to health. Evaluation of adherence to exercise can be beneficial in the beginning, during and after the end of physiotherapy. Objectives: The aim of this study was using of the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale in Czech translation to find out how the patients adhere to a physiotherapeutic treatment plan and assess the causes. Methods: The research group consisted of 151 respondents, older than 18 years and they completed physiotherapy at least once in their lives. For data collection was used the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale. The Scale was available via online research survey in March 2020 and self-selection was chosen. Results: According to the results, 67 % employees participated in the research study. 63 % respondents were aged between 36 and 64 years. Physiotherapy was most often covered by insurance company. In EARS, excellent internal consistency values of Section B on the item level and satisfactory to good internal consistency values of Section C on the item level were obtained. Significant correlations of the EARS sections confirm criterion validity in terms of adherence....

Šimlová, Michaela ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Vomáčková, Helena (referee)
Title: The effect of one-off so called sensorimotor serie exercise on postural stability measured on Neurocom SMART Equitest Aim: The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the effect of one-off so-called sensorimotor serie exercise on postural stability on a healthy young human measured by computerized dynamic posturography (CDP). Methods: This experimental study is using a cross-over design, it means that participants got the intervention in randomized order. 20 healthy young subjects participated in the experiment, 12 women and 8 men aged 20 to 28 years (23,55± 1,63). The group of men and women was randomly divided into two groups. Group E1 was measured by Neurocom SMART Equitest using three testing protocols (SOT, MCT, LOS), went through the one-off so called sensorimotor serie, and was measured again immediately afterwards (almost 30 minutes after the first measurement) at the first appointment. In 1 week ± 1 day (wash-out period) participants from the group E1 were only measured without getting any intervention and after 30 minutes break measured again. Group E2 got the intervention in opposite order. Measured data were processed using the Neurocom Balance Manager Software. In the statistical analysis was used one-sample t-test respectively two-sample t-test (Welch's version) as a comparison...
Capture of the abduction contracture of the hip joint as a biomechanical cause of idiopathic scoliosis
Mařík, Antonín ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (referee)
Author: Bc. Antonín Mařík Title: Capture of the abduction contracture of the hip joint as a biomechanical cause of idiopathic scoliosis The theme of the thesis is based on lectures and numerous publications by Professor Tomasz Karski, MD, PhD from Lublin, published in international journals (from the 1990s to the present). The work is based on the biomechanical cause of the "so-called idiopathic" scoliosis, the cause of which is considered primarily the restriction of adduction in the right hip joint - so-called an abduction contracture. This contracture is one of the symptoms of "Syndrome of Contracture" according to Prof. Hans Mau (Tübingen, Germany). The years-long prevailing "standing easy" attitude on the right lower limb is a manifestation of the abduction contracture in the right hip joint and the cause of scoliosis in two groups and three types of classification of "biomechanical" scoliosis according to Karski. The main object of the thesis is an objective assessment of the relationship between the abduction contracture of the right hip joint and the idiopathic scoliosis (IS) of the spine in the examined set of probands. Clinical and anthropological examinations were performed in a group of 20 patients with idiopathic scoliosis and 16 control probands, including specialized tests on the...

Author: Bc. Ondřej Martínek Title: Physical activity and its quality in children with ADHD Objectives: The aim of the theoretical part of the work was to process the issue of ADHD, especially in children of younger school age. The work also aimed to present the possibilities of testing and therapy in physiotherapeutic practice. The aim of the practical part was to obtain information about the subjective evaluation of children's motor skills by the DCDQ questionnaire from the point of view of their parents, to get an idea of leisure activities and physiotherapy care and to compare test results (One Leg Stance Test and The Ladder Agility Test) of experimental group with control group. Methods: The research group consisting of 22 probands and the control group of 25 probands completed 2 standardized tests (The Ladder Agility Test, One Leg Stance Test). Their parents completed The Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire and answered 2 open questions. The obtained data were evaluated in Microsoft Excel. A two-sample t-test (Welch version) was used for statistical processing. Results: Statistically significant differences were found in the evaluation of probands by their parents with the ADHD questionnaire, but in practical motor tests no significant differences were found between the...

Zasadilová, Anežka ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Author: Bc. Anežka Zasadilová Title: The effect of physiotherapy on patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to design a therapeutic unit and evaluate its effect on long-term treatment in the therapy of selected patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease Methods: The group of patients treated for esophageal reflux disease was examined using a standardized questionnaire, esophageal manometry and postural tests. This was followed by a two-month therapy aimed at stretching and strengthening the diaphragm using several physiotherapeutic methods. After completing the therapy, the probands were measured again as in the same way as in the initial examination. The obtained data were evaluated by statistical analysis using a nonparametric test for one selection (Wilcoxon test). Results: The evaluation of the questionnaire survey resulted in the value of p-value = 0.007265, ie less than the selected level of alpha significance (= 0.05). Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was confirmed that the input score was statistically significantly higher than the output score. The evaluation of the esophageal manometry gave the value of p-value = 0.6956, ie greater than the selected level of significance alpha (= 0.05). Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was not confirmed that the...
