The diploma thesis deals with the development of business activities of the company implementing shading technology, which will lead to gaining new customers in the Austrian market and increase sales. The work includes theoretical knowledge of the issue, strategic analysis of the external and internal environment. The analytical part describes the current state of the selected company, the result of which is a SWOT analysis. In the design part, individual recommendations and proposals concerning development are elaborated.

The Reconstruction and New Making Use of the Chateau in Moravský Krumlov

The theme of my dissertation is to create the architectural study of a new utilization of the Chateau Moravský Krumlov. The Chateau will be newly used as a Hotel, there will be placed a congress and concert Hall, Cafe, Restaurant, offices, 2 room for rent, Wine bar in the basement, exixting Gallery space will be maintained for presentation of artworks and art symposiums. Object of a former chateau Stables will be used as a Fitness studio, Gyms, a Bowling room, as a place for relaxing and sports activities. Under the main courtyard, in the area between the Chateau and Stables, the two-story underground parking will be placed, and will be accessible from the street Zámecká. The new utilization honor, respect and tries to sensitively use original, historical, architectural and technical relations of the Chateau and intervene in them only minimally.

The theoretical part focuses on a problematics of marketing, marketing communication, and theoretical foundation of analyzes that are used in this work. It also evaluates the current situation of the company milan novák. Based on an executed analysis, a proposal of concrete steps on how to improve the marketing communication of this company is created.

Bachelor thesis Fictional worlds in Ero Guro Nansensu fiction by Edogawa Ranpo analyses four short stories and one novella by the writer Edogawa Ranpo. The thesis focuses on the description of fictional worlds that fall under the Japanese artistic genre called ero guro nansensu. The fictional worlds that emerge in the text are attempted to be described in this thesis and, finally, to define the common points that the short stories and the novella possess. The methodology of fiction theory is based primarily on Lubomír Doležel's Heterocosmica: Fictions and Possible Worlds.

Teaching Suprasegmental Pronunciation Features in English through Authentic Documents

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to enrich the existing ways of teaching suprasegmental pronunciation features in English pronunciation in secondary schools with a focus on the possibilities of using authentic materials. In the introductory section, we will introduce the nature of the suprasegmental pronunciation features, which we investigate in this thesis. Then, we will summarize basic didactic principles of teaching second language pronunciation, focusing primarily on the pronunciation of suprasegmental pronunciation features. Next, we will map the existing ways of presenting and practising suprasegmental phenomena, based on the analysis of exercises in selected English language textbooks for secondary schools aimed at practising suprasegmental phenomena. We will define terminologically the notion of authentic material and specify the types of authentic materials that can be used to teach second language pronunciation. Subsequently, we will propose a set of activities based on selected authentic materials to enrich existing types of exercises aimed at pronunciation training.

Zuzana Rodová, M.Sc Title of the Bachelor Thesis: The Usage of Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment in Individual Occupational Therapy of the Patients with Cognitive Problems Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of cognitive functions using Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assesment (LOTCA). The theoretical part includes knowledge of occupational therapy and cognitive functions. Further on it briefly describes the diagnostics of cognitive functions and their rehabilitation. A whole chapter is dedicated to LOTCA, the key testing instrument. This chapter describes all its versions, especially its dynamic form used in the practical part of the work. The practical part contains 2 case studies of the patients with cognitive problems. Both of them were elaborated at the Department of Rehabilitation, the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague. The aim of the thesis called Vietnamese cuisine was to chart the most often consumed Vietnamese meals and to count their nutrition facts. The research question was asked: What nutrition facts do the four most consumed Vietnamese meals have? The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the description of the Vietnamese cuisine. It describes the culture of this cuisine, its customs, principals and curiosities. It mainly focuses on the culture of eating and its differences, social habits at the table, customs during preparation and, on the contrary, inappropriate behaviour while eating the meals. Part of the work depicts typical ingredients and additives, their use and production. The practical part was done by qualitative research. It focuses on energetic and nutrition calculation of the Vietnamese meals. It describes recipes and technological procedures of the calculated meals acquired from Vietnamese families living in the Czech Republic. The recipes are adapted to family habits. The calculation of the values was processed in Nutriservis Professional software and by reading the values written on packaging. Vietnamese cuisine is very colourful and diverse. It prefers quality to quantity. With respect to ingredients and principals of this cuisine, we can consider it quite healthy. The thesis can be a contribution as a study material for students of medical and social faculties and as a material for nutrition specialists in making diet plans. It can also be a contribution to anyone interested in Vietnamese cuisine.

The Augustinian Canons of Roudnice: Their Library and Writings

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the library of Augustinan canons in Roudnice nad Labem (Raudnitz in German) and assess its place in late medieval culture in Bohemia. The first chapter surveys the history of the monastery. It was founded by the bishop of Prague, Jan IV. from Dražice, in 1333. The monastery flourished and was supported by the highest ecclesiastical officials, but it was destroyed in 1421 during the Hussite wars; the canons escaped to Germany (Erfurt) and to Poland (Wroclaw, Żagań/Sagan). There is substantial evidence on the history of the monastery in Roudnice; several important documents of the monastery have survived, especially monastic statutes, the necrologium of the monastery and also its cartulary. Then the monastic library is explored. In addition to the manuscripts themselves, there are notes on the books in the necrologium of the monastery and several other indirect sources. Unfortunately it is impossible to reconstruct the entire content of the library of the Augustian canons in Roudnice; nevertheless, over one hundred manuscripts that used to be kept in the library have been identified.
