Criminological Aspects of the Drug-related Crime

1 Abstract The thesis is aimed at criminological aspects of drug-related crime. Author has chosen: development and the significant causes of drug-related crime, characteristics of the offenders and crime kontrol as specific aspects to deal with. A special chapter is focused on one specific type of drug - methamphetamin (pervitin). First chapter is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis. Second chapter is focused on develompent of drug-related crime. It specifies the main causes of the crime increase and development of an open drug market. It also contains a statistical analysis and trends. The third chapter deals with drug crime offenders. Author tries to select different points of view to find some typical characteristics of them. He also tries to find some trends (using published criminal career researches) that make them different from other kinds of criminals. The fourth chapter is focused on the actual problems connected with methamphetamin (pervitin). Author explains the main causes that make the Czech republic number one producer of this drug in Europe. He sees a lasting availability of the key precursor - pseudoephedrine as a crucial factor. Together with that author emphasizes a hypothesis that most of the pharmaceutical products (with pseudoephedrine) sold in our country...

Aktuální stav a potenciál rozvoje cestovního ruchu na území města Holešova

The bachelor thesis focused on The Current situation and potential of tourism development in the area of the town of Holešov deals with the state of urban tourism and the technology of services in this area. It aims to identify the biggest problems that hinder the development of tourism in Holešov and to define possible solutions and recommendations leading to their remedy or at least partial elimination and further development of tourism in this area. Shortcomings and problems were investigated using the questionnaire survey, during which answered in total 105 visitors of the cultural and historical monuments in the town.

The choice of appropriate financing variant of passenger car for a natural person

The object of the thesis is the selection of appropriate method of financing passenger car up to 3.5 tons for natural person in the Czech Republic. The thesis is primarily focused on comparing of free available options financing (operational and financial leasing, loan) with the possibility of employees´ operating leasing or rental. The theoretical part explains the various ways of financing, and mentions some of the service providers. The practical part includes a model example containing requirements for the type of vehicle, mileages etc. Subsequently, various financing alternatives are confronted with requirements of model user and optimal variant is chosen. The end of thesis summarizes the practical and theoretical part of the thesis.

Contracted air transportation within Schengen area - Aerotaxi

Thesis is focused on problematics of contracted air transport of passengers, also known as aerotaxi, within Schengen area. Thesis aims at main benefit of air transport and this is the time aspect. The time value is incorporated into calculation of total transportation costs in form of relationship between the length of the flight and transportation alternatives. The model experiment used in this thesis defines a set of attributes necessary for correct calculation of business trip cost. Thesis also presents propositions of hypotheses for future research

LCC in Czech Republic and current competitive situation on the LCC market

Bachelor thesis is dealing with LCC, their development and current situation, also with the transformation of the core LCC business model into new business model, that combines features of LCC and traditional carriers. There are listed all the LCC that can be found at Prague Airport, they are briefly described and the way, how they try to differentiate from other carriers. In the last part, there is a survey and the results of this survey. The survey aims to give an advice to LCC how to attract Czech customers, what is the main deciding feature for them and on what they should focus. Bachelor thesis tries to solve if there is something as brand loyalty in LCC market.

The problems of driver's participation during loading and unloading and his responsibility - the examples of HOPI

The aim of the diploma thesis is the analysis of driver responsibility during the loading and unloading of the goods at HOPI, the characteristics of the complaints grounds for the selected partner and the presentation of one type of complaints with a proposal to solve how to prevent further damage to the goods. The first part analyzes the responsibility of the carrier, where distinguishes several types of liability including the extent of liability for loss, damage or destruction of the consignment. The practical part describes the work and responsibility of the driver at HOPI. The reasons for Savencia's complaints are characterized, and the last part of the thesis concerns with one reason of complaint (damage of goods) and then proposes a solution.

Origin of Goods (customs)

The Master´s thesis deals with origin of goods and its importance in customs and international trade. The main objective of the thesis is to provide a complex summary of principles and rules for determination of origin of goods. A secondary objective of the thesis is to either confirm or rebut the assumption that origin frauds occur mostly in connection with non-preferential origin. The first part explains basic customs terms. The second part analyses non-preferential and preferential origin of goods. Last two parts focus on theoretical and practical aspects of origin frauds.

Potential of Continental Transport between People’s Republic of China and the Czech Republic

The European Union (EU) is a key trading partner for the People's Republic of China (PRC). Nearly one third of PRC's production is send to the EU and half of EU exports is directed to the PRC. Such huge trade volumes require an appropriate logistical connection, which is currently dominated by maritime transport. However, since 2007 railway transport has also been available. The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate the position of the railway transport of the PRC European route (with focus on the position of the Czech Republic) with regard to its development, obstacles and potential for the future. Firstly, the paper describes the background and reasons for the establishment of the New Silk Road (One Belt One Road initiative), followed by the trade and economic cooperation between the PRC and the Czech Republic. The practical part deals with individual aspects of railway connection. Neither in terms of trade volumes nor price can railway compete with the maritime solution, nevertheless it slowly but surely acquires its first regular customers.
