Design of a Robotic Cell for Depalletization and Placement a Rail to a Production Station
Novák, Adam ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis dealswith a design of a robotic cell for depalletization and the establishment of a rail into a production station. Pieces are weighed into the depalletizing unit in a shape-adapted crates otherwise known as blisters. Each blister contains five to eight pieces(depending on the type of a rail) and anti-corrosion paper. After removing the paper and the piece from the blister, an identification code is stamped on the piece. Then the finished piece travels to the next station. The aim of this thesis is to design arobotic cell that can handle all operations in a given cycle time and to create a simulation model in Siemens Process Simulate program to verify the cell functionality.

Numerical Integrators in Control Theory
Novák, Adam ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with the topic of partial differential equations of parallel solutions from focus on control of dynamic systems working with real-time built-in control model. First, it is focused on real-time systems. The next section deals with the analysis of differential equations and types of differential equations. Consequently, numerical integration and derivation are discussed. The thesis deals with individual numerical methods, which are used to calculate a differential equations. This thesis also deals with individual fluids that can influence the calculation of differencial equations in the Modern Taylor method. The result is a competitive application that allows a quick and accurate solution of real-time management model and the subsequent calculation of the differential equations generated using the Modern Taylor Series Method.
Fireworks as another unnecessary source of pollution not only in times of energy and climate crisis
Balounová, Kamila ; Novák, Adam
The energy crisis caused by the war in Ukraine has forced most European countries to look for energy sources other than oil and gas from Russia. As a result of that situation, energy sources that pollute the environment with harmful substances have often been restarted. Energy independence on Russia required not only the commissioning of these energy sources, but also deepened the economic crisis that many countries faced after the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, European countries and their residents have not yet given up on expensive fireworks shows, which release a lot of greenhouse gases and other harmful substances into the atmosphere. The contribution aims to evaluate the current issue of the use of fireworks from an environmental and economic point of view, to further evaluate the existing legislation and to outline the possibilities of limiting the use of fireworks in the Czech Republic through legal measures, with the simultaneous use of a comparison of the existing legislation in Germany, France, Luxembourg and the USA.
Virtual Testing for ADAS and Autonomous Driving
Novák, Adam ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods for testing ADAS and autonomous driving. To introduce the subject, the concepts of ADAS and autonomous vehicle are first discussed. The functionality of these systems would not be possible without sensors monitoring the vehicle's surroundings, so the most used types of these sensors are described in more detail. Then, the thesis focuses on the testing itself. The testing takes place virtually or fully in a real environment. The advantages and disadvantages of these two different approaches are mentioned. Within the virtual, the principles of the different XiL testing methods are explained, and within the real, the options of tests in normal traffic and on proving grounds are explained. The final part is a description of CarMaker and its comparison with other softwares also used for virtual testing. An example scenario in which the automatic emergency braking system is triggered is used for the description.
Microplastics and plastics from view of law
Novák, Adam ; Sobotka, Michal (referee)
Microplastics and plastics from a legal perspective Abstract The dissertation deals with the management of microplastics from a legal point of view, following the ever-increasing pollution of the environment by plastics. The issue of microplastics has not yet been dealt with at this level in the Czech environment. The dissertation is not aiming only at the management of primary microplastics, which is most often dealt with by existing legislation at the level of individual states, but also at the management of secondary microplastics, which have been so far legally dealt with only by indirect regulation (through limiting plastic waste as a source of this type microplastics). The aim of the work is primarily to create an overview of the existing legislation of the management of microplastics at the international and European level (including individual legislation of the EU member states). Based on this overview is made an analysis of this legislation and are formulated proposals and recommendations for improving the management of microplastics, especially to limit their release into the environment. The dissertation is divided into nine chapters: The first chapter is the introduction, in which the grasp of the topic, research questions and the structure of the work, including the methods used, are...
Criminal Aspects of Tax Optimization of Legal Entities
NOVÁK, Adam
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the possibilities of tax optimization and related criminal law aspects of legal entities. The process of tax optimization is examined mainly in the environment of double-entry bookkeeping and the related issues of creating some significant taxes, especially corporate income tax. Subsequently, the criminal law impact due to erroneous or intentionally erroneous accounting activities will be described. The research is carried out in the form of questionnaires and guided interview obtained from legal entities from the private sector. Respondents are different companies in terms of size. The guided interview was conducted with tax advisor who occupies this issue in his practice. The expected outcome of the thesis is to find out how often and under what conditions tax optimization takes place in individual economic entities and whether these entities are aware of the criminal liability arising from it.
Internet governance in Putin's Russia - a long term perspective
Novák, Adam ; Solovyeva, Anzhelika (advisor) ; Střítecký, Vít (referee)
Master's thesis abstract Internet Governance in Putin's Russia - a long-term perspective This longitudinal case study is dedicated to the analysis of the development behind Russia's approach to Internet governance. By qualitatively researching the development of the Kremlin's approach to Internet governance, this thesis aims to capture the learning process behind regulating the cyberspace in Russia. As such, the aim is to understand what kind of events have shaped its perception of how Internet and the underpinning infrastructure should be approached to increase the regime's stability. Building on the concepts of digital authoritarianism and authoritarian learning and by understanding learning as a long-term process with turning points, this thesis aims to answer these research questions. How does Russia's digital authoritarianism manifest? Which events, both domestic and international, hastened the pace and intensity of cyberspace regulation in Russia? Can we identify a learning process behind Russia's long-term approach towards Internet regulation? For these ends, the turning points refer to events after which we can identify a change in the perception of Internet governance and/or intensification in controlling the online information space. As such, with the help of periodization, the thesis traces the...
