Frequency of complications and their prevention in women in the early puerperium after outpatient delivery

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of postpartum complications in early puerperium in women who choose to deliver as an outpatient (i.e., leave the hospital within 72 h of delivery). It also discusses the prevention of these complications and subsequent postpartum care as a preventive measure. Outpatient delivery is a relatively new option for childbirth. The number of women going home after outpatient birth is increasing every year, and addressing postpartum complications and prevention of complications in these women therefore deserves attention. The work is conceived as theoretical-practical. The theoretical part defines concepts such as outpatient delivery, puerperium with a focus on early puerperium up to the 7th postpartum day. It then describes complications occurring in early puerperium and finally deals with the education of women. The practical part deals with the analysis and statistical processing of a questionnaire survey that focuses on the frequency of postpartum complications in early puerperium and their prevention. Reproduction of flowering plants and heat stress

This bachelor's thesis is a review summarizing the effects of heat stress on the reproductive development of flowering plants and their tolerance mechanisms. Plants are continuously exposed to changing environmental conditions and ever-increasing temperatures. Reproduction, especially the development of the male gametophyte, is particularly sensitive to these changes. This leads to defective development, sterile pollen, and fewer seeds, which affects crop productivity and yield. Methodology and tolls of protection and preservation of cultural heritage at risk from flooding

The consortium project "Methodology and tools of protection and preservation of cultural heritage at risk from flooding" was undertaken in the years 2011 to 2015 within the "Applied research and development of national and cultural identity (NAKI)" program supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The project was aimed at increasing the protection of cultural heritage sites in estimating the risk of damage, planning and designing of flood control measures as well as implementing post-flood and remediation measures. The paper presents some of the achievements of the project - the "Vulnerability assessment and prevention of flood damage to cultural heritage" methodology, the methodology of protection of cultural heritage and areas of cultural-historical value against floods, software application "Itemized catalog of flood hazard posed to heritage sites" and methodology for the creation of contingency plans in case of natural disasters.

Cultural heritage and flood

Floods impose a significant risk to buildings sustainability. Due to climate changes this issue becomes a topic for more and more areas. Among various categories, cultural heritage is especially vulnerable because its assets cannot be reproduced. This contribution discusses some resuts of the ongoing research project focused on protection of cultural heritage from flood danger.One of the crucial goals of the project is the design and development of a methodology and supporting software application for analysing building and materiál vulnerability to floods. During the research several experts from various areas of materials engineering contributed to an extensive knowledge base covering the most important materials related to immovable constructs, and movable objects.

The aim of the paper come from absence of methodologies and tools for the management and the sustainable development of real property of various religious institutions. There is need to provide tools to determine the technical, legal and economic limits for management of church property. Special emphasis is placed on the specifics of the issue with the fact this is not a common owner or investor, but to link the two worlds, the secular and the spiritual. It will also take into account the fact that the property generally is not ordinary real estate, but in many cases also cultural heritage. This fact requires a special approach to the valuation of assets, and in its management and investment planning. Business cycle and economic transformation in Czech Republica

The bachelor work is focused on course of the business cycle with following application of theoretical knowledge on a specific period of economical history in the Czech Republic. At first the individual theories of business cycles, which provide different views on fluctuation of economical activity, will be analysed with regard to theoretical part. As a part of theoretical chapter will also be a description of an economical situation in the period of transformation in Czech Republic, i.e. approximately in the 90th of 20th century and theoretical exposition of indicators of the business cycles. Following part will be devoted to monitoring and statistical analysis of a transformation period in the Czech Republic, which will be carried out in regard to selected so-called coincident or leading indicators. In the light of these facts the individual stages of business cycle in period of transformation in Czech Republic will be described in the last chapter of the bachelor work.
