City HPV
Sunek, Ondřej ; Nedoma, Jiří (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with vehicles that are driven by human power, namely the design of a bicycle frame intended for city traffic. Part of the work is a section that describes the historical development of cycling bikes, as well as an overview of individual bicycle conceptions, focusing on their advantages and disadvantages
City HPV
Pykal, Vojtěch ; Nedoma, Jiří (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the issue of bicycles for seniors and city traffic with additional electric drive. The introductory part deals with the influence of movement on human health. Further development and technical analysis of bicycles. This is followed by a comprehensive analysis of pedelecs and an outline of an ideal electric bike for seniors. In conclusion, there is my evaluation of this issue.
Locking differential
Odložilík, Daniel ; Nedoma, Jiří (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create research and general evaluation of basic types of locking differentials. Bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on the design of final drive cases and types of final drives, which are closely related to the differentials. The following second chapter deals with the historical and theoretical basis of differentials. The following third chapter deals with deeper problems of locking differentials, especially description of individual types of locking differentials, including their evaluation. Last fourth chapter is (then) focused on the automotive systems themselves, which use (and improve) the function of open differentials or locking differentials.
Škoda Octavia Super
Netopil, Jan ; Nedoma, Jiří (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
My work contains a comprehensive aggregate of knowledge which is needed for a renovation of a car Skoda Octavia Super. It provides a description of the construction and an execution of a chassis, a transmission, an engine and accessories of the car for individual manufacturing sets, next is a description of a colour execution and a superficial modification. I put emphasis on the identification of all mechanisms and Skoda Octavias accessories (the eighth manufacturing set). The right execution approximates many photographs, a function of the transmission of a functional scheme. All mentioned pieces of knowledge are based on studying of a period literature, a catalogue of spare parts, a contemporary literature and verifying information in the Skoda Octavias museum and in veterans clubs. This work also pays attention to issues of the renovation of the car and its financial demands, options how to use additive technologies during the renovations of cars. In conclusion is evaluated a condition of renovated Octavia Super, year of production 1960, carried out a checking measuring of selected mechanisms and worked out a budget of the renovation. The work brings theoretical knowledge which is needed for returning of the car, Octavia Super, to the state as it was made.
Steam Engine
Koutník, Štěpán ; Nedoma, Jiří (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis focuses on a steam engine. At first the thesis describes its historical evolution, applications and parts. Consequently, the thermodynamic cycle of the steam engine is analysed. The second part deals with modern applications of the steam engine in automotive industry and others.
Study of the limnological components of the ecosytem of Lake Medard in 2022
Peterka, Jiří ; Hejzlar, Josef ; Nedoma, Jiří ; Znachor, Petr ; Seďa, Jaromír ; Vejřík, Lukáš
The report summarizes the results of research into the limnological and biological components of the ecosystem of the newly created Medard post-mining lake. The aim of the presented report is to summarize the results achieved for the year 2022 and recommendations for further monitoring. The year 2022 was the fifth year after the lake was completely filled, when water from the Ohře River was no longer added. Only small tributaries flowed into the lake from its own catchment area, and at the same time, water from the lake drained through seeps, which are apparently drained into the nearby rivers, the Ohře and the Svatava. The lake ecosystem reached the final state of its initial phase in terms of hydrological regime and nutrient load. This condition is characterized by very little water exchange and a low nutrient level with low productivity of plankton communities. There is the development of submerged macrovegetation in littoral zone and a specific seasonal change in chemistry and biological parameters. However, the aquatic ecosystem is still far from stabilized and the biological communities of the littoral zone (littoral) and open water (pelagial), including the fish community, still show significant interannual dynamics.

Hydrobiological monitoring of Lake Medard in 2020.
Peterka, Jiří ; Hejzlar, Josef ; Nedoma, Jiří ; Znachor, Petr ; Seďa, Jaromír
The aim of this report is to summarize the results achieved in 2020 and make recommendations for further monitoring. The year 2020 was the third year after the full filling of the lake. The lake ecosystem has reached a final state in terms of hydrological regime and nutrient load, which is characterized by very low water turnover, low trophic state with low productivity of planktonic communities, development of submerged macrovegetation in littoral areas and specific seasonal changes in chemistry and biological parameters. However, the aquatic ecosystem is far from being stabilized and the biological communities of the littoral and the open water areas, including the fish community, are still changing considerably from year to year.
Hydrobiological monitoring of Medard lake in 2019
Hejzlar, Josef ; Nedoma, Jiří ; Znachor, Petr ; Seďa, Jaromír ; Peterka, Jiří
Presented report summarizes the results of hydrobiological monitoring of Medard Lake in 2019 and recommends further monitoring actions. The year 2019 was the second year after the lake was filled, when no more water from the Ohře River was filled and only small tributaries from the small river basin flowed into the lake. Thus, the ecosystem of the lake has reached a final state in terms of hydrological regime and nutrient load, characterized by very low water exchange, low trophic levels with low productivity of planktonic communities, development of submerged macrovegetation in coastal zones and specific seasonal changes in chemistry and biological parameters.
