Modelling the response of building material specimens during fracture tests
Navrátil, Petr ; Veselý,, Václav (referee) ; Keršner, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the computational simulation of wedge splitting test of a concrete specimen by using finite element method. Different levels of numeric model for different notch depth and for different position of support are solved. Depending on the depth of a notch and difference of configuration, the crack paths and responses to an exterior load on a crack mouth opening displacement are evaluated.
Homogenization of closed foam structures using Kelvin cell
Škoviera, Jozef ; Navrátil, Petr (referee) ; Skalka, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with creating calculation model of the foam structure based on Kelvin cell with closed porosity. First aim of this work is homogenization of the foam structure by identical deformation response in foam structure and continuum. Second aim is follow-up parametrical study of influence of characteristic measures of Kelvin cell on material characteristics. Task was solved in ANSYS software by method of final elements. Resultant dependences rendering was done in MATLAB software.
Inverter 12 V DC to 230 V AC with Protection
Navrátil, Petr ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with converter, which alters 12 V of direct input Voltage to 230 V of alternating Voltage output with frequency of 50 Hz. Introduction describes the basic parting of convertors. The chosen concept of designed convertor was based on that chapter. The practical part describes construction of this convertor including necessary safety shielding. At the end, the construction of the converter was tested by practical measuring and it was proven that the result meets with required values with slight anomaly.
Modelling of the randomly formed ceramic foam structure for FEM simulations
Papšík, Roman ; Navrátil, Petr (referee) ; Ševeček, Oldřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with construction of ceramic foam model with various levels of (ir)regularity for finite element simulations in Ansys. The main objective is to substitute the complex structure of the open cell foam using the beam elements, enabling to perform FE analysis on much larger volumes of foams than the realistic foam models composed of solid elements. In this work, the technique of the model creation is based on the Voronoi tessellation and enables choice of arbitrary (ir)regularity of the modelled structure. The created source codes generate the model data directly in the syntax of APDL language for FEM system Ansys. The first part of the work describes several methods of the space partitioning and methods for substitution of the real foam structure by simplified “wire” model. The second part defines the Voronoi tessellation (diagram) as a key technique for creation of the foam model and describes its algorithms. The next part of the work deals with possibilities and utilizations of various software and libraries, describes creation of the own code in mathematical software Matlab and way how to transfer the model data into the system Ansys. The last part of the work demonstrates functionality of the created model on several FEM simulations, studying response of the ceramic foam on the external mechanical loading, upon consideration of various levels of the foam structure irregularity.
Regulation of DC hub dynamo
Navrátil, Petr ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is the theoretical preparation, design and implementation of a DC converter for a bicycle charge dynamo with compensation for its large inductance. The designed converter will be able to use the maximal power of the dynamo.
Analysis of crack propagation in railroad wheel under operating conditions
Navrátil, Petr ; Schmidová,, Eva (referee) ; Janíček, Přemysl (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with the determination of the propagation directions of primary crack in the rail vehicles wheel under operating conditions. The aim of this work is the stress-strain analysis with using fracture mechanics to examinate behaviour of primary cracks for different operating conditions, i.e. rotation, rotation with contact and assessment of refracted cracks with applied rotation and contact.
Proposal of Information Support for Operational Management
Navrátil, Petr ; Šunka, Josef (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis describes problems of information systems for manufacturing management. Thesis is divided into three parts. First part contains necessary definitions, basic requirements and described general principle of ERP systems. Second part is focused on analysis in TVD, a.s. company. Company's processes are analysed and their support by information system is described. Last part is designed as a proposal of potential solution of problems identified by analysis in previous part. Implementations of new functionalities of currently used ERP information system solution are designed.
Rationalization of manipulation in Igor Láník Techservis Boskovice.
Šamšula, Petr ; Navrátil, Petr (referee) ; Hlavenka, Bohumil (advisor)
This diploma work analyses technology documentation, material manipulation, machines and manipulation devices in its first part. Aim of this analyse is detection present entire lacks of manipulation state. Diploma work suggests options of solution to determinate entire lacks of manipulation in its second part and elaboration of chosen option.
Support for education of biometric access systems
Navrátil, Petr ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
This thesis describes general function of biometric access systems and summarizes problems of their practical use. It also shows security risks of these systems. It defines basic terms, which are used in this area, describes kinds of errors and their representation. One part of this thesis deals with biometric method of fingerprints recognition. It explains fingerprints’ atomic basics, basic principles and processing of digital fingerprint image. Next part describes concrete biometric access system V-Station by Bioscrypt Inc. Besides basic description it focuses on technology of biometric sensor and algorithm, essential parts of biometric system. The thesis continues with security analysis of this concrete system. In this part I target on weak points of the system and I design possible attack on the system. In the last part of my thesis I designed laboratory exercise, which is supposed to be realized by student. It is composed it by several tasks to let students understand working with the system and attached software. At the same time, they have opportunity to think about system by themselves a make their own opinion about possibilities of the system. There are many pictures in this thesis to make term clear and to better understanding of problems of biometric security systems.
General lay out plan
Blahák, Emil ; Navrátil, Petr (referee) ; Hlavenka, Bohumil (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is a comprehensive master plan of a selected firm from South Moravia. The first part deals with the development of production in the period from inception until today and describes some of the shortcomings and problems of the current situation. The next part of the thesis tries to eliminate these deficiencies and suggests possible future configuration options including factory production editing program, technology and production efficiencies due to the expected business investment opportunities.
