Optimization of the 110 kV distribution system in the Přeštice nodal region

This work describes an actual condition of a specific part of a distribution power grid. It is a research of problems based on the computer model in case some power line is in failure or shut down. Simulations are calculated for both currently used load and load expected in future usage. There are partial solutions depicted for each issue found during the simulation. Some of those are used for a final design of a distribution power grid. In the last section, there is a comparison of different types of power lines and their possible usage in the design.

Project of Backup Power Source for the Heating Plant Červený mlýn

This thesis describes a design of backup power for heating plant Červený mlýn, Teplárny Brno, a.s. The backup power would be used in case of loss of power from the electricity grid, especially in the case of so-called "blackout". Backup power would supply only necessary systems of this heating plant, such as spinning turbines before stopping, control room power supply and lighting. Particularly designs of accumulator, flywheel and diesel generator are discussed. The main aim is to choose the optimum solution.

Plochy brownfields a jejich rozvoj - příklad města Znojma

This work is in the theoretical part deals with the concept of brownfields and possible ways of its development in general. The theoretical part describes the different approaches to the concept at the global and regional level. It also describes two selected methodologies brownfield regeneration, which can help to achieve successful implementation. The practical part is focused on the town of Znojmo in connection with the issue of brownfields, in the introductory passage is characterized current state of brownfields, including a brief characteristics of the study area. Brownfields issue is considered further in the questionnaire survey with the local population, then outlined and suggestions for solutions targeted sites.
