Černý, David ; Novotná, Jitka (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
The work compares the differences in the use of the Czech electronic signature before and after the implementation of the regulation of the European Parliament and Council, which introduced the European standard for electronic communication eIDAS (electronic IDentification, Authentication and trust Services). Based on the research from available sources, the theoretical part of the work describes the legislative regulation of both systems, their ways of functioning and examples of use. The practical part contains a qualitative study in the field of electronic signatures and a description of the implementation of the eIDAS regulation in the Czech Republic, including case studies.

Šnaiberková, Natálie ; Lipková, Helena (advisor) ; Novotná, Jitka (referee)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to examine the transition to online distance learning in the second grades of Czech primary schools, which took place in the spring of 2020, and to analyse what experiences the schools have gained or how their preparation for the re-closure was going. In the theoretical part, I integrate the topic into the context of distance learning and e-learning and the possibility of using change management methods when transitioning to a distance model of education. The practical part is based on the analysis of interviews and their subsequent evaluation according to the ADKAR model. In theoretical section are at first described the regional functions and several ILSs used in the Czech Republic. The next, system of public libraries in chosen EU countries is described, and their strategy and process of providing helpdesk services for ILS. The practical section consists of the case study of the regional ILS implementation process at the Municipal Library in Prague. The main goal of the thesis is to describe in detail the implementation of regional ILS in practice, which can be used as a tutorial to implement regional ILS at other libraries. Klíčová slova (anglicky): Librarianship, libraries, regional functions of libraries, integrated library systems, implementation of regional system of libraries

Application of information security in the area of printing security - case study
Kahancová, Karolina ; Novotná, Jitka (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
The thesis deals with the topic of information security in the field of printing within the Prague office of international company. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the issue of print security, focusing on the state of security of the printing process and employee awareness of this topic. The theoretical part describes possible threats in terms of information security that can affect a corporate company. In response to potential threats, security measures and systems that can prevent their negative effects are presented. One of the chapters is devoted to normative measures that deal with this topic. For the practical part, a mixed research methodology was chosen, namely a combination of internal materials and regulations study and a questionnaire survey investigating employees' awareness of print security issues. The result of the research is an analysis of the current state of print security and a proposal for changes that the company could implement in the future to achieve safer printing.
Role of plants in the greenhouse gas budget of a sedge fen
NOVOTNÁ, Jitka
Wetlands play an important role in the global carbon cycle because they fix or release carbon dioxide (CO2) and are a source of atmospheric methane (CH4). The dynamics of the exchange of these greenhouse gases is determined mainly by the height and dynamics of water level, temperature and vegetation structure and biomass. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of plants with a dominant sedge, Carex acuta, on CO2 and CH4 emissions from a sedge fen on a model site ?The Wet Meadows? near Třeboň. This study included field research using a method of manual emission chambers in order to monitor the differences in the emissions between hummocks with vegetation and hollows without vegetation. In addition, aboveground plant biomass, water level and temperature were followed. The field research was supplemented with a mesocosm experiment in which the influence of water regime on C. acuta biomass production was evaluated. The results of the field research show that water level had a significant effect on CO2 emissions only in the hollows. Soil temperature was an important factor on both micro-sites. The presence and biomass of the plants had a substantial effect on the amounts of CO2 emissions, but only in the second part of the vegetation season, when the plant aboveground biomass reached its seasonal maximum. CH4 emissions were significantly influenced by the water level and its previous dynamics but not by temperature. An important factor was also the presence of sedge hummocks, which vented considerable amounts of CH4 into the atmosphere when their basal parts were flooded. Fairly small amounts of CH4 were mediated by the plants at water levels between -20 cm and the soil surface. A conceptual model has been created for the conditions of 2014 in order to estimate the effect of the C. acuta dominated vegetation of the hummocks on carbon emissions and its balance. The carbon assimilation into plant biomass exceeded not only the carbon emissions mediated by the plants, but also the emissions from the whole hummocks. Approximately 130 g C m-2 per vegetation season was stored into the soil owing to the plants. The mesocosm experiment indicated that the plants of C. acuta formed the greatest belowground biomass as well as total biomass in the limosal ecophase followed by the plants subjected to a spring flood.
The impact of agile transformation on qualification requirements and competences on the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner in the segment of financial institutions.
Krohová, Kateřina ; Lipková, Helena (advisor) ; Novotná, Jitka (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of agile transformation on the competences of the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner in the segment of financial institutions, eventually the impact on the role of project manager. In the theoretical part, the topic is set in a broader context, basic terminological concepts are defined, the different agile frameworks are introduced and the different roles of project management and agile approach are described. As a preparation for the practical part, a search of current research on the topic was conducted. The practical part is based on a qualitative research method using semi-structured interviews with respondents from financial institutions that have undergone agile transformation in recent years. The aim of the research is to identify the impact of agile transformation on the competences of specific roles based on the respondents' experience. Keywords Scrum Master, Product Owner, agile transformation, impact of, competences, qualification requirements
Use of CRM Systems in the Management of the ALUMNI Network at the Law Faculty of the Charles University (case study)
Říhová, Eliška ; Lipková, Helena (advisor) ; Novotná, Jitka (referee)
This thesis examines the potential use of CRM systems to create, manage, and expand the alumni network of public university faculty in a case study. Alumni care is an area with great potential for overall faculty growth. The paper first focuses on the reasons leading to alumni interest and the patterns of alumni loyalty. To maintain and develop a good relationship with alumni, the application of a CRM system appears to be an useful aid. These are described in the thesis not only in terms of their basic functioning but also in the context of the university environment. The thesis also concentrates on innovations in student care using information systems and the selection of suitable CRM system suppliers. Practical section of this paper contents a case study conducted at the Faculty of Law of Charles University. The output of this work is to determine the assumptions, benefits and risks of CRM systems implementation for the purpose of alumni care at this faculty. Recommendations for improving communication between the faculty and its future and current alumni are also presented. Given its practical focus, the findings of the paper can serve as a basis for future development of a strategy for alumni care by selected university's fakulty.

The diploma thesis deals with the parents' view of the process of speech therapy intervention and the profession of speech therapist. The work is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The introductory chapter describes the individual parts of the speech therapy intervention process, namely speech therapy diagnostics, therapy and prevention. The second chapter deals with departments where it is possible to meet speech therapists. The following chapter deals in detail with the competencies of individual speech therapy professions and also their necessary professional training. The fourth and last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the parents of children with speech desorder. Their role and participation in the process of speech therapy intervention are described. Subsequently, this issue is also described in the context of the implementation of distance therapies during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, the results of a mixed research based on both a self-constructed questionnaire survey and interviews are presented. The main goal was to analyze the parents' view of speech therapy intervention and the profession of speech a therapist. The partial goals were to find out the degree of relevance that parents attach to speech therapy, the...
