The topic of this master’s thesis is design of a medical ultrasound diagnostic machine. The thesis focuses on a new perspective on composition and shaping of the ultrasound machine while respecting technical and ergonomic requirements. The goal of this thesis is addition of an aesthetic value and incorporation of new technologies so the product is able to compete on the current market.

The master´s thesis is focused on the performance evaluation of the company S&K PUBLIC, Ltd. The theoretical part explains the term performance and describes the most used approaches of company performance measurement. The analytical part deals with the characteristic of the company and analysis of its current situation. The last part contains the performance evaluation of the company using the START Model, which is based on the principles of The EFQM Excellence Model. In conclusion, there are suggested measures to improve the company performance based on the results of the evaluation.

Design of Electric Hand Mixer

This thesis deals with the design of an electric hand mixer while in the entire process is favored new perspective not only on the design of the product but also its function from the user's point of view. Its goal is to design the look of the product which will be unique and differently shaped from the products occurring these days in the market and will satisfy every technical and ergonomic requirements. It should be design of the lower price category product. This thesis, among other things, deals with the handling and storage of mixer beaters. The solution is to be an innovative way of keeping whisk together with the mixer which does not adversely affect the handling and does not increase the price.

The bachelor´s thesis is focused on issues of management of the company A studio group, spol. s r.o. over years 2012-2016. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical way-out possibilities, where the basic terms are defined. The second part deals with the calculations of selected indicators of the financial analysis and the interpretation of their results. In the last part of the thesis, based on the results, there are proposed some way-out possibilities for improvement of financial situation of the company.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of the financial situation of the company S&K PUBLIC spol. s r.o. throughout the years 2009 to 2013 and to submit proposals that could improve her current financial situation. Theoretical part explains the various methods of financial analysis, terms and indicators. The practical part contains calculations of the financial analysis and interpretation of the achieved results including a comprehensive evaluation. In the conclusion there are provided measures to improve the financial situation of the company based on the financial analysis.

Quality of life of patients after kidney transplantation

Bachelor thesis "Quality of life in patients after kidney transplant" deals with issue of patient´s quality of livfe before and after transplantation. The objective of this thesis was to map quality of life before and after kidney transplantation in several dimensions - physical functioning, physical limitation, general health, vitality, social functioning, emotional issues and mental health. In theoretial section is presented overview of kidney diseasees, proces of transplantation and quality of life. In empirical section are presented methods of data collection, realisation of survey and results of this investigation. Chosen Method was standardized questionaire SF-36 supplemented with soci-demographic and health related information questionaire devised by autor. It was distributed among patients of nefrological ambulantory practice in IKEM which underwent kidney transplantation. Results: Quality of life of patients after udergoing tranplantation of kidney was better then before transplantationin these areas: perception of one`s own health, walking up the stirs one and more floors, walking hundred meters, managing worload, lesser difficulities in activities of daily living. The Coping Strategies of the Lead Workers from the Perspective of Gender and Personality

In this thesis, we present a differences between men and women as the lead workers in terms of the use of specific coping strategies with regard to personality characteristics. In the theoretical part, we analysed the topic of the specific requirements managers need to meet and the associated stressors, as well as differences in their perception and coping with regard to gender and personality were discussed. The empirical part analysed the differences in the use of coping strategies between men and women. Probands (of sample size 2127, men N = 1343, women N = 784) completed the Stress Management Questionnaire and the Multifactor Personality Profile. Regarding the use of these twelve coping strategies, the results of the multivariate analysis revealed a significant difference (F(12,2092)=10.7, p<0.001) between men and women. A significant difference was revealed on the scale of strategies aimed at resolving situations, in which case men used these strategies significantly more than women. Univariate tests revealed significant differences in specific strategies, on the scales Self-Control (used more by men), Sharing, Someone Else's Fault, Relaxing, Avoiding, Reconciling, and Self- reflection (reported more by women compared to men). Motor Skills of Children with Communication Disabilities in Preschool Age

The topic of the diploma thesis is motor skills of children with communication disabilities in preschool age. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals mainly with psychomotor development of the child from birth to preschool age. The thesis also deals with speech development of the child and stages of speech ontogenesis. Third chapter is dediated to communication disability with a focus on diagnosis deleyed speech, development, dyslalia and development dysphasia. In the end there are mentioned and described the most often used diagnostic materials, detecting level of motor skills in preschool age. The main aim of the empirical part is to find out the level of motor skills of children with communication disabilities in preschool age. The main method of quantitative research is the set of tasks to diagnose the level of motor skills. The results of 15 participating probands are then compared with an equally large control group of children without communication disabilites. The said research is supplemented by survey that is focused on psychomotor development of child. Orff-Schulwerk Approach to Folk Songs for Elementary School Education

Diploma thesis Orff-Schulwerk Approach to Folk Songs for Elementary School Education consists of two parts: theory and practice. The first theoretical describes the basic Orff-Schulwerk thesis for education at the elementary schools in the lessons of Music or in the preparatory units of children choirs. Author introduces Carl Orff biography, circumstances of Orff-Schulwerk creation and its characteristics which is compared to the psychological theories, mainly with the flow phenomenon. The thesis covers the implementation of the Orff-Schulwerk approach to the Czech Framework Education Programme. Author compares studies describing the results of Orff-Schulwerk method in comparison to other methods. The research has not confirmed the thesis, that Orff-Schulwerk has better results in the music education field. The abroad studies confirmed, that Orff-Shulwerk approach is suitable for working with children with special educational needs. On the basis of the sources and literature, the author assumes that Orff-Schulwerk can lead to more intense interest in music and culture itself.
