Life cycle and development of a manager

The main goal of this work is to provide information about a manager' s professional life as it is a crucial part of his whole life cycle. There are some basic qualities a manager needs he/she should use them effectively when leading and managing human resources. Considering the fact that a manager is a living human as well, I analyze and point out important moments and influences which form his career and working life. In four chapters that this paper consists of, I describe the manager' s personality and ma in qualities that are specific to hi s field or work, including a wide range of roles he must fit into. I focus also on the life cycle of human resources because there exists a certain process after one is hired to a position in a company. Furthermore, before we reach adulthood and aur working life starts up, there are specific moments when we all are deciding what aur career will be about. Different influences including aur parents, friends and society have an impact on aur career and motivation to have a dream job. Mainly, to have a job we love and we want to be part of every day. Employees stabilization

Bachelor thesis is focused on employee stabilization and activities connected with it. Stabilization is a complex term that involves different personal activities. It is important to do quality recruitment and right introduction of new employees. This is basement for next development and stabilization. People are motivated by different elements of motivation and it is a task for manager to discover kind of employees motivation. Compensation is one of the most important stabilization elements. It is important to make good relationship between compensation and effort of employees. This way helps to differentiate hight and kind of compensation. Practical part of bachelor thesis is connected with Coca-Cola HBC. This company runs own distribution network as one of the few. Operation of distribution is connected with many requirements - i.a. necessity of recruitment of new employees for driver positions. Truck drivers are very scarce positions on a labour market. There is a need because of this facts to choose right way for presentation of vacancies for aim at enought applicants. Maternity leave, education and employment market

The thesis "Maternity leave, education and employment market" discusses problems parents in Czech republic who balance their obligations to both work and family encounter. The work adverts to difficulties of returning to a job after a maternity/parental leave. The most frequent problems parents returnig to work are coping with are: securing a job, outdated qualifications and work experience or absence of a flexible working conditions. The thesis shows ways and means to solve this problems. Special attention has been paid to the topic of education of parents on or after parental leave. It includes actual possibilities and particular examples of educational various projects (eg. motivational, focused on language skills development, enterpreneurial skills courses). Two of the mentioned educational projects have also been evaluated in this thesis. Elearning programs seem to be especially suitable for the target group of parents on parental leave. The thesis also includes some suggestions on how to motivate employers to implement the work-life balance policies, such as flexible working hours or home based work.

Professional competencies of experiential learning instructor

The main goal of this dissertation is to provide information about professional competencies of the experiential learning instructor. I would like to focus on the competencies which make him able to present himself as an educator at experiential courses organized for companies. Learning through the experience is regarded as a very progressive and often applied access to adult education. Regarding the company practice, this methodological concept is most often used for soft skills development, specifically for individuals and teams on occasion of teambuilding trainings. If we omit the participants, one of the most crucial roles during the whole process is dedicated to the instructor. Apart from the names as tutor, trainer or lecturer is the name instructor used commonly for the educator in the specific area of experiential teambuilding courses. The whole learning process is held in the instructor's hands, while they are constantly supporting participants on their way to acquire new knowledge, skills and information. In the ideal state, we develop those of the participants' competencies which were specified at the preparation process of targeting. Survey of the level of satisfaction in social services. Work-related satisfaction is a vast and complex social and psychological category. It has be studied since 30 Th ofthe last century. A wide range of internal and external factors inf1uences the level of work-related satisfaction of an individual. Among internal factors there are: age, gender, marital status, education, length of professional career, but also professional level, identification with the content of the work, current life situation, expectation etc. External factors incorporate: financial reward, working atmosphere, style of leadership, physical conditions etc .. Work-related satisfaction consists ofthe overall work-related level of satisfaction and of the level of satisfaction with individual areas of work. Graduation thesis HR processes of Microsoft with detail on potential of outsourcing concentrates on problems of company processes with correspondence of nowadays trends of society as well as dynamics of business. This concentration is important because of Microsoft is a dynamic company and not only that; it is company which wants improve itself. The self-improvement is not only for the outside world, to make better branding, but it's going from the inside of the company, because simplifying of processes is the key to bigger success and effectiveness. In this thesis you'll find out more about processes of Human Resources department and above that, I'll concentrate on processes which were identified as ineffective and as processes with potential of outsourcing. The target of this thesis is to prepare space for realization of outsourcing.

Organizational culture

Organizační kultura je to, co vytváří charakter organizace. Způsobuje, že lidé v organizaci myslí a jednají určitým způsobem. Skládá se z prvků, mezi něž patří základní předpoklady, hodnoty, postoje, normy chování, prvky materiální a nemateriální povahy. Tyto prvky se nachází v několika vrstvách, přičemž vnější vrstva, kde se nachází artefakty, je nejsnadněji pozorovatelná. Hlubší vrstvy obsahují základní předpoklady a hodnoty, ale jsou pozorovatelné jen skrze prvky z vnější vrstvy - jazyk, historky a mýty, zvyky, rituály a ceremoniály. Poznání kultury je však možné zejména z prvků z vnitřních vrstev, hodnot a základních předpokladů.
