Mobile genetic elements detection by genomic signal processing

Mobile genetic elements are occupied by this project. It is aimed at their features, which can be used for their detection. It also deals with issue of conversion of symbolic sequence into numerical form. Classifications of mobile genetic elements are explained, basic types of mobile genetic sequences are described, and principles of numerical maps and detection in symbolic represetation are also clarified. Conversion of symbolic genetical sequences by chosen numerical map and calculation of normalized correlation values for set of mobile genetic elements are compiled. Analysis of the mobile genetic elements properties is performed for design of detector. The library of themes is created at the end for usage by designed detector.

Processing of EEG signals in frequency domain

Sleep EEG is occupied by this project. It is aimed at processing signal which precede test of stationarity. It also deals with the issue of stationarity of sleep EEG with indicating of three types of segmentations. Principles of three types of segmentation are explained and their realization is compiled in the environment of Matlab by the way which enables to choose different input parameters. The change of stationarity is examined in various stages of sleep with the help of the results thus created functions. Another aspect of this study is the investigation of changes in the development of absolute and relative power over time according to transition between stage of wakefulness and stage of sleep. It is searched for the occurrence of these changes also in the development of the coherence spectra.

Marketing Communication Products in Pharmaceutical Industry

This thesis deal with problems of marketing communication in pharmaceutical industry.The thesis is separated on theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part concern importance of marketing communication, describe and compare of particular tools of communication mix. Practical part is concentrated on doctor's marketing survey and the evaluation of actual marketing propagation tools. The final chapter analyzes the position of pharmaceutical companies, it reveals the main problems and gives possible suggestions for solutions.
