The demand of passportization of building structure is increasing with the exploding of developments projects from green fields to vacancies. Proposal of the Company's Financial Plan

This thesis with title „Proposal of the Company's Financial Plan“ consists of theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part deals with theoretical ways out of financial planning. In the practical part there are performed the analyses of contemporary state of company. Afterwards there is the financial plan alone made-up for the years 2009 – 2011. The end of my practical part is formed by evaluation of created financial plans.
Selected problems in the process of building operation appraisal for the purposes of expert opinions

The basic requirement for a good quality expert opinion are high quality sources of information, i.e. adequately detailed and valid groundwork. This dissertation analyzes groundwork for expert activities in the area of building operation appraisals, handling of information and its transmission within the life cycle of a construction. For this purpose, it is possible to divide the construction according to its functional parts. The thesis puts emphasis on drawing up a budget according to its functional parts, which is clearer for the investors, contractors and real estate administrators as well as the expert. A significant part of the dissertation is dedicated to recommendations on how to determine the usual price of building operations. In this section I define some options of how to determine the usual price of building operations, including their comparison. Likewise, I investigated and compared real agreed prices of building contracts for public commissions. The basic recommendation resulting from this chapter is the recommendation for the Czech statistics department to automate the data collection based on registers of building operations created with one of the budgeting programs (preferably according to functional parts). For the experts, I prepared a set of recommendations based on the analyzed differences between the budgeted prices and those applied in real contracts. There is no generally accepted method to evaluate the losses created due to delays in construction. For the purposes of this dissertation, I investigated the common prices of rent of the individual equipment and then established two approaches to put value on the cost of equipping the site, percentage rate and individual calculation. I examine in more detail the issues related to quantification of costs for wintertime arrangements. At the end of the chapter I define recommendations for experts. With regard to recommendations for establishing discounts from the construction price due to occurrence of defects and unfinished tasks, I analyzed real examples of distribution of defects and unfinished tasks at the moment of delivering the building operation to the investor and discovered that approximately 50% of defects are part of the surface working. Additionally, I analyzed the Czech technical regulations regarding surface working in order to find basis for assessment of the presence or absence of a defect. While investigating the approach to non-removable defects, I discovered incorrectly considered shelf life of waterproofing within the appraisal. Based on this, I investigated the market and determined the shelf life of common waterproofing systems. At the end of this dissertation I carry out a comparison of selected items of the two pricing systems most commonly used in the Czech Republic, URS and RTS. The differences are a result of contemplating using different technologies, varied mechanisms and diverse approaches to determine the costs of material.
Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

This thesis analyses the financial situation of company OHL ŽS, a.s. within the years 2002 – 2006 , by selected indicators of the financial analysis. It includes also proposals of solutions for identified problems which should result in improvement of the financial situation of the company in the following years.
pp-elimination of quantifiers in module theories

The aim of this thesis is to prove the Baur-Monk Theorem and thereby show complete module-theories admit an elimination of quantifiers down to (Boolean combinations of) existential formulae. To achieve this, following a brief introduction in Chapter 1, the reader is fami- liarised in Chapter 2 with the notion of a positive-primitive formula in the lan- guage of right R-modules, and its close relationship with commutative groups, their cosets, and lattices. Chapter 3 first lays the technical groundwork for the proof of the Baur-Monk Theorem, presented in Section 3.3, in its opening two subsections which contain the needed combinatorial and group-theoretical results, namely the Neumann Lemma and a variation on the Inclusion-Exclusion Principle. Chapter 4 concludes the mathematical work contained herein with a brief over- view of some immediate corollaries of the the Baur-Monk Theorem and earlier results.
The influence of tanning chemical agens on DNA degradation

The illegal wildlife trade is currently on the rise, and it is becoming the fourth most lucrative sector of crime. The traded commodities of this sector are, for example, various animal artefacts from skins, teeth, scales, tusks, claws to whole animal bodies, as well as eggs of endangered birds (parrots and birds of prey) or amphibians and snakes. The rarer the species is, the higher the demand for it grows. Wildlife trade is regulated (among other things) under the international CITES convention (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). Proving that this convention has been violated, is complex process and can be very difficult to achieve. In many cases a DNA analysis of the artefact, is the only way to prove, that it originates from a protected animal species and not from a species with which it is legal to trade. This thesis deals with a specific type of animal artefact - tanned skins. With this type of biological material, it is often problematic to obtain amplifiable DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). This thesis is investigating the influence of the chemicals used in the tanning process on the DNA degradation. Telemetric monitoring of the feral pigeon ( Columba livia f. domestica) population at the Karlovo namesti square in Prague

"A Telemetric monitoring of the feral pigeon ( Columba livia f. domestica) population at the Karlovo náměstí square in Prague" This thesis deals with both the monitoring of numbers in the pigeon (Columba livia f. domestica, "the Pigeon") sites in question and also the spatial definition of the daily activities of individual specimens using a telemetric system. Previous researches gathered data on population density and food routes usually obtained by observation. Therefore we believe it's important to supplement this data with spatial movement maps of individuals that cannot be obtained by observation but the telemetry system allows us to do so in certain time period. The data obtained from GPS trackers will be processed into daily spatial activity maps of the specimen. These data will hopefully help us to gain insight into the life of not just specific individuals, but will also allow us to derive spatial activity of the entire population living in the locality in question. The results will be compared with the results from the previous pigeon count. This knowledge can be useful to population control, or serve in other studies. Keywords: pigeon, abundance, telemetry
