Approximation surfaces for 3D data

This bachelor thesis is dealing with approximation surfaces for 3D data using methods such as RANSAC, least square method and B-spline surface. Its goal is to study and program these methods. First, the methods are described and then the actual programs are analysed. In the end of the thesis, we compare all three methods using data from 3D scanning. Through this effort we can assess their positives and negatives.

Surface analysis using low-coherence interferometry

This thesis deals with low-coherence interferometry, laser interferometry and its combination intended to be used for contactless surface analysis. It outlines theoretical background of laser interferometry and low-coherence interferometry and describes in detail interference fringe center detection techniques used in low-coherence interferometry and their implementation into MATLAB environment. All these techniques theoretically described were analyzed to evaluate their measurement accuracy, resistance to optical dispersion and computational complexity in order to choose the most appropriate technique to be involved into the experiment. Furthermore, the thesis describes design of an experimental setup for optical surface analysis combining laser interferometry and low-coherence interferometry. There are presented experimental results and its comparison with the reference measurement. Overall measurement uncertainty is calculated and discussed too.

The aim of this bachelor publication was an elaboration of professional recherche about geometric product specification (GPS). My publication contains the comparison of the foregone and current norms, which include parameters surface texture and notation surface texture, relation of surface texture and surface function, incoming development trends and needful supplements.

FFD methods

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of free-form deformations. The main goal of this work were elaboration of theoretical knowledge about this issue and the programming of selected methods od free-form deformations. The first part describes the required spline theory, matrix calculus and free-form deformations. The resulting version shows three programs. The first program compares the selected free-form deformation methods to the example of the 4x4 control point grid. The second program serves as a generalization for the general case of grid of control points. The last program is based on direct manipulation of arbitrary surface point and following recomputation of the control points to obtain demanded shape.

Stability and control of dynamical systems used in modeling an airplane motion

A modern aircraft (or another machine moving in the air) usually does not rely on its structural stability only. In fact, the motion is conventionally stabilized using a loop feedback control. A dynamical system, which models the aircraft's position and orientation in time, reacts on the state variables, hence, the control signal is dynamically changed. This bachelor's thesis deals with deriving the equations of motion for small perturbations of the state variables as well as with stability and control of such a system of equations. In addition, comparison of both a nonlinear and a linearized model is a part of this work. The programming language Python is used for testing on several examples of a concrete aircraft.

The Development Proposal of Small Czech Manufacturer of Transformers and other Wound Components

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the company ELEKTROKOV,a.s.ZNOJMO, specifically its Electro plant, which operates in the field of transformers, chokes, welding clamps and other winding parts. The first part of the diploma thesis is the theoretical part, which includes primarily variants of possible development of company and selected analyses of both the external and the internal environment of the company. These analyses are used in the practical part of the work, where they have the aim to assess the current situation of the company. Based on the results of these analyses, some solutions are set for expansion of the company to the foreign markets and maintain its position on the domestic market.

Game for Oculus Quest

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a prototype of a videogame in virtual reality for target platform Oculus Quest 2. The game was created with game engine Unity with emphasis on optimalization and extensibility of implemented systems. Within the implemented game was created system of autonomous agents via finite state machines and planning architecture goal-oriented action planning. One of the most insteresting game mechanics is fire propagation system implemented with cellular automaton.

Assembly Design of Ball-Joint Test Bench Hydraulic Unit

The main object of this thesis is the proposal of fitting (setting) hydraulic cylinder into test equipment of ball-joints of company TRW-DAS Dačice a.s. The thesis includes a short review about testing ball-joint of above company and about liquid mechanisms. Also, there are analyzed demands for fitting (setting) hydraulic cylinder into testing equipment. In the main part of this thesis there is described my own constructive proposal with numeric calculations in proper software. In enclosure there are all analytical calculations with productive drawings and an assembly drawing.
