Agropellets Properties

This thesis solves problems of combustion of agropellets and the advantages and disadvantages, which are connected with their application in combustion devices. In this thesis at first there is divided biomass, where it primarily concentrates on the plant biomass and it constitutes some used types, which are used to a fuel production. In the next part it solves problems of production of pellets, the advantages and disadvantages of this production and the advices for superior pellets. In the final theoretical part it solves combustion of this fuel. It is about properties of pellets, problems of combustion and this work also deals with emissions of combustion agropellets. In the last part the thesis engages in experimental detection of agropellets properties and plant biomass as such and subsequent comparison to wood biomass and tabular values.

Public participation in decisions making related to the environment protection

5 Public participation on the decision-making procedure regarding the environment protection is a very important aspect within the building-permitting process. In this thesis, I focus particularly on the public participation in the form of associations through the entire permitting procedure of the structures. The desired goal of this thesis is to analyse the current Czech legislation including with a preview to the international legislation regarding the two fundamental rights: right to information and right to participation. I analyse the actual state of the association participation within the procedure using the relevant case-law. Above all, I aim to the comparison of the current need of such extensive rights to participation against the preservation of the interest of the environment protection and public monitoring function which is definitely important within any procedure. Finally, I am reaching the opinion that the structure-permitting procedure is unnecessarily complicated which can't be a benefit for the public nor the investors. In my opinion, the entire procedure should greatly simplify and the cooperation between the public and the investors should be carried out in a different manner.

Strategic Analysis of the Forum 2000 Foundation

The main objectives of this thesis are the application of selected strategic analysis instruments to the Forum 2000 Foundation and the evaluation of the relevance of the use of classical methods of strategic analysis in the context of non-profit organizations. The thesis is divided into theoretical-methodological part and analytical part. The first part introduces the tools that are used in the following analysis. In the second part, these tools are applied to the said foundation. At the end of the thesis, in addition to the results of the strategic analysis, conclusions of assessment of the relevance of the use of classical methods of strategic analysis in this particular analysis are also presented.

Predikce vývoje budoucí hodnoty firmy

Cílem práce je nastínit možný postup predikce vývoje budoucí hodnoty konkrétní firmy. Teoretická část představuje metody analýzy firemní výkonnosti, postup sestavení dlouhodobého finančního plánu a metodu stanovení hodnoty firmy na základě prognózovaných volných peněžních toků. Praktická část aplikuje metody vyložené v teoretické části na realitu firmy. Je provedena finanční analýza společnosti a podle jejích výsledků navržen dlouhodobý finanční plán. Poté je stanovena budoucí hodnota firmy podle plánu prostřednictvím predikovaných volných peněžních toků (free cash flow). Na závěr je cílová situace srovnána s výchozí situací a na základě tohoto srovnání je zhodnocena úspěšnost navrženého plánu.
