Self-Sufficiency of Food in the European Union

This thesis deals with the European Union's food self-sufficiency. The aim is to try to assess the impact of EU agricultural policies on food sovereignty of Member States and countries outside the EU. The work will evaluate the production of food self-sufficiency in the European Union and the EU for different types of production. The work will assess the impacts of agricultural policies on the Union's agricultural production and international trade. International trade can be used to ensure self-sufficiency, so it is also included in the work. The work will also focus on the restrictions under the WTO and trade between the EU and the rest of the world. In addition to assessing the impact of the policies the work will also deal with future developments.

Martin Musil, Jindřichův Hradec, 2010, 74 p. and 1 p. attachments. The thesis analyzes the economic crisis of 1929 and the similarity of the current economic crisis. Thesis will also focus on unemployment and living standards as a result of the economic crisis. The aim is to highlight the ineffectiveness of conventional solutions, which governments are doing and outline certain alternative solutions that might be effective in the long term. One such solution is the development of transport, because it is a major factor in job hunting , or the implementation of the business. The practical part of the thesis deals with a futuristic transport solution which would provide a much superior mobility of the workforce as we know it today. Effective functioning of such services would be more efficient to avoid the consequences of economic crises that await mankind in the future.
Variety of Organizations in a chosen Locality (a sociological study)

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to identify organizations in a designated area. The city of Dačice has been selected. Organizational data have been acquired from publicly accessible resources -- mostly public service registers. Based on the data obtained, organizations are divided in terms of their legal form, principal activity and contribution to civic amenities in the selected area. One particular organization based in selected area is then described according to its organizational characteristics. In the conclusion of the thesis, comparison of diversity of organizations between the city of Dačice and several other cities with similar population is performed.
The World Foods Crisis

The aim of my thesis was to find out and describe possible reasons of world food crisis and to estimate its impact on society. Then was examined an approach of public to studied area by the means of an internet inquiry and finally were sought out remedial measures. Eight possible reasons were selected out of relevant data and then was discussed their contribution to worldwide food availability. On the basis of my studies of the data refered to each of the selected issues I concluded that the most important reason seems to be protectionism that developed countries use for their markets. This situation should be handled with the highest responsibility otherwise both local and global problems could arise. One of important consequences should be enhanced immigration into developed countries and related problems - for example increased criminality.
Client Satisfaction with Services of Touring Information Centre

This diploma work deals with the satisfaction of clients with services of the Tourist Information Centre in Znojmo, Czechia. The objective was to ascertain this satisfaction by means of an inquiry and comparison of information centres and to suggest recommendations and improvements that should finally lead to greater satisfaction of clients. In the theoretical part hereof, I have focused on the explanation of basic terminology related to tourism, tourist information centres, marketing research and satisfaction inquiry. In the practical part hereof, by means of a special questionnaire that I prepared, I have been ascertaining satisfaction of clients in the Tourist Information Centre in Znojmo. I have also been comparing tourist information centres in other towns and cities of similar size as the City of Znojmo. In conclusion, I have put down some recommendations and improvements which should finally lead to greater satisfaction of clients.
Insurance in the Sphere of Tourism

The aim of this thesis is to describe various types of insurance in the sphere of tourism and analyze the current situation and conditions on the supply side in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is divided into chapters: Tourism, Consumer protection, Insurance. Another section is devoted to Legislation. This part informs about the main czech law in tourism. The practical part analyzes in detail the range of insurance in case of bankruptcy of a travel agency on the Czech market. The model is explained by examples billable premium, which is suitable for beginners and travel agencies, which have no clear idea of what sales will reach tours sold. The paper ideas and liability insurance agency and professional liability insurance agency.
Political Cycle in the European Union Countries

The aim of my diploma thesis is to analyse the posibility of existence of a political cycle in the selected european countries (Ireland and Germany). The work describes the various theories of the political cycle. I try to prove the existence of political cycle by analysing of political and economical data (inflation rate and unemployment rate). The work examines two main theories of the political cycle. These two theories are: opportunistic political cycle theory, which suppose that the main motive of the politicians are being re-elected in the next election. And ideological political cycle theory assume that politicians behavior accord to their parties ideological orientation.
Communication with the Mass Media and Publicity of a Non-Profit Organization

The Diploma thesis is focused on publicity and public relations in non-profit organization. The first part of the work synthesizes theoretic findings from the field of communication, marketing and public relations and is using them to generate an overview of instruments and procedures suitable for use in a non-profit organization. Based on this theoretic assumption is Analysis of current communication system used by the organization. The main aim of this thesis is to draft a brand-new communication strategy, including a new graphic design, a set of communication tools and a system of their applications. The subject of the research is the Club For Old Prague, a civic association with more than a century long tradition in the field of architectural heritage protection and preservation the genius loci of our towns. The new communication strategy should help the Club to improve coordination of the flow of information, and through to newly created, unified and unmistakable image gain more publicity and public support for Club's goals.
