The topic of this diploma thesis is modular growing housing. The work is oriented towards the analysis of current housing issues and its possible solutions with the usage of serial production. The aim of the work is to design a flexible system of residential modules, which is able to adapt to the life changes, family situation and needs of its inhabitants through addition of new residential cells.
Defects on the upstream asphaltic linings at dams
Mezera, Jiří ; Špano, Miroslav (referee) ; Říha, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of defects on the upstream asphaltic linings. In the introductory part, the types of asphaltic concrete and the composition of asphalt concrete linings are presented. Following section describes individual layers and methods of paving asphaltic concrete. The most common defects are described and analysed regarding the cause, possible sites and severity in the next section. The analysis also includes practical examples of defects and their repair. In the final section there is a summary table, which includes the most common types of defects together with the severity and necessity of repair.
Accuracy of body temperature measurement using infrared technologies
Mezera, Jiří ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with the measurement of body temperature using the infrared thermometers. The literature research is devoted to the description of the human body temperature, methods of its measurement and types of thermometers. The theoretical part further examines the infrared radiation, the principles of measurement, physical quantities, laws of infrared radiation, types of detectors and measurement uncertainties. The practical part focuses on experimental measurements with selected kinds of thermometers and verifying their accuracy. Finally, an experimental procedure has been designed which has then been used for the clinical measurements of body temperature under various conditions and their subsequent statistical evaluation.

Vyhodnocení heterogenity výnosu plodin a ověření senzorového systému pro variabilní aplikaci hnojiv
Mezera, Jiří
In the theoretical part of this thesis there is summarized basic knowledge about precision agriculture, soil condition monitoring, mapping yield and state of vegetation. The practical part deals with evaluation of yield heterogeneity, creating yield maps, and verification of Isaria online sensor system for variable application of nitrogen fertilizers. The methodology of the work was based on the collection of data from the Isaria sensor system and the yield data from combine harvesters on the land of Zdounky center of SALIX MORAVA a.s. during 2016. The available documents were processed using tools in geographic information systems and then statistically compared to each other, including the underlying maps of the yield potential and satellite data of remote sensing. The significance of dependencies of the above mentioned factors was evaluated by correlation analysis and linear regression. The results show that the varying degrees of dependence were found between variables.
Detekce napadení obilnin listovými chorobami pomocí termálního zobrazování, zobrazovací fluorescence a spektrální odrazivosti
Mezera, Jiří
In the theoretical part of this thesis there is summarized the basic knowledge about the fungal leaf diseases of cereals, their harmfulness and technologies of precision agriculture. The practical part deals with the detection of cereal infestation with fungal leaf diseases using noninvasive optical methods. The research was conducted on winter wheat using methods based on spectral reflectance, infrared thermal imaging, chlorophyll fluorescence imaging, and blue-green fluorescence imaging. The tested diseases were powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici), wheat stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis), and wheat leaf rust (Puccinia recondita f.sp. tritici).). In the case of spectral reflectance, the best results were obtained for spectral indices ANMB650-725 and ZM generally. Overall, the best results for all methods were achieved in the detection of wheat leaf rust. A very good indicator of disease infestation was infrared thermal imaging, with a higher level of infection implying an increase in leaf temperature and a lower difference between leaf and air temperature. Reliability of detection by chlorophyll fluorescence imaging differs between individual diseases, with the best results being generally achieved for actual quantum yield PSII and the non-photochemical quenching. The most promising method for the future is the blue-green fluorescence imaging, which achieved very good results for both, the estimation of infection level and contrast between the infected and the healthy part of the leaf.
Creating of variable rate application maps based on the mapping of spatial variability of soil agrochemical properties and crop yield heterogeneity
Lukas, V. ; Neudert, L. ; Širůček, P. ; Kraus, M. ; Novák, J. ; Mezera, J. ; Zemek, František ; Pikl, Miroslav ; Žížala, D.
The methodology describes how to create application maps based on digital soil mapping and soil sampling results and how to determine the dose of variable rate application of fertilizer addressed to spatial variability of nutrient content in soil and crop yields within the field. It includes also the results of a comparison of these procedures with respect to the total amount of fertilizer applied and the occuracy of the dose distribution across the fields.

Methods of detection of fungal diseases applicable in plant phenotyping and remote sensing
Klem, Karel ; Veselá, Barbora ; Holub, Petr ; Urban, Otmar ; Mezera, J.
This methodology summarises findings from a comparison of three perspective methods of fungal disease detection applicable for remote sensing and plant phenotyping of fungal disease resistance. These methods are spectral reflectance, infrared thermal imaging, and blue-green fluorescence imaging. On the example of winter wheat infection with powdery mildew, stripe rust and brown rust the strengths and weaknesses of individual methods were demonstrated. From these results it is evident that all three methods are potentially applicable for non-destructive fungal disease detection, but their practical use may vary. Testing of spectral reflectance indices for the detection of fungal diseases showed particularly the high detection reliability of the red-edge and green band based spectral vegetation indices. Infrared thermal imaging has shown high detection accuracy for powdery mildew and brown rust, but lower for stripe rust. Blue-green fluorescence and thermal imaging seems to be also a very promising tools for evaluating the intensity and spatial distribution of infection on a leaf level.
Risk analysis of the strategic business plan of the company MADETA a.s.
Zuieva, Daryna ; Špička, Jindřich (advisor) ; Mezera, Josef (referee)
The aim of the master's thesis is to compile the 5-year strategic business plan of MADETA a.s., to identify and evaluate its risks. The thesis contains external and internal environmental analysis of selected company, on base of which key risk factors are identified and scenarios of industry development are created. In the following part of the thesis strategic objectives of the company are formulated and integrated in strategic financial plan. The last part deals with risk analysis, which includes selection of risk factors and simulation of discounted cash flow, influenced by those factors, using the Monte Carlo method. Simulation results suggest that, despite the significant impact risk factors have on discounted cash flow, there is high probability of achieving strategic objectives. As a conclusion, strategic steps aiming to reduce risk impact on company performance are proposed.
