This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of corporate social responsibility. The key terms related to the topic are explained in the first part of the thesis. The second part focuses on the corporate social responsibility of selected companies in the cosmetic market. The aim of this thesis is to analyse and subsequently compare the activities related to corporate social responsibility between Lush company and Dove brand. The research which was conducted through questionnaire forms another part of the thesis. The aim of this research was to explore awareness and perception of the concept of corporate social responsibility among general public.

Presented master thesis deals with the issues of analysis of the Sales representative's effectiveness in conjunction with the effectiveness of regions severance, methods of evaluation and remuneration. The thesis will also outline company's usage of CRM software from the perspective of Sales representative and Sales Analyst. Theoretical part contains findings from CRM, profession of Sales representatives and methods of evaluation and remuneration. These finding will be exemplified on international pharmaceutical company. The aims of this thesis are suggestions and recommendations which are targeted to increase effectiveness of the Sales representatives and CRM software.

This thesis deals with the topic of category management in online retailing. Its goal is to identify the assortment factors that affect a company's financial performance. The result of the thesis work is a model applicable in strategic decision making on assortment. The first part consists of basic concepts of retail, marketing and strategic management. The purpose of this part is to provide the reader with the theoretical background for the following practical part. The research for the practical part is conducted on the basis of interviews with experts in the field and the author's own research in business. Each chapter presents a group of metrics that are based on analysis of business data in online retail market. Metrics describe the specific features of a product category and their impact on a company's revenue or costs. Each metric comes also with an assessment of the given category based on business data. The aim of the thesis is to give a comprehensive overview of assortment decision making. The thesis should also help the reader gain basic knowledge useful for managing an online retail store.
Analysis of risks and their solutions in the production process

The thesis deals with the analysis of risks and ways of their solutions in the production process. Its main contribution is the design improvement of the production process of air conditioning systems in Lindab s. r. o. The thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the FMEA method with its elements aimed at process improvements, identifications of production risks, their causes, levels of severity, occurrence and detection. It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The thesis is based on foreign literature and findings from research internship carried out in Lindab s. r. o. during studies at University of Economics, Prague.
Determination of costing in the company Máslové Trubičky s.r.o.

This bachelor´s thesis deals with costing in the company Máslové Trubičky s.r.o. in Znojmo. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part occupies basic concepts of calculation and break even point. In practical part the company is shortly described and afterwards collected data are analysed for costing or break even point. Direct and overhead costs of costing are compiled in the next section of the practical part, where different calculation methods are compared. In conclusion final results are summarized and specific recommendation are suggested.
Corporate Social Responsibility and reporting in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the current state of CSR reporting in the Czech Republic based on the collection of data from different reports on corporate social responsibility, which are published by the Czech or foreign companies operating on the Czech territory. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, examining the fundamental nature of the concepts and addressing the issue in more depth. As a substantial part of the thesis consists of an analysis of the current state of CSR reporting on our territory, it was suitable to divide the last chapter into two subsections. The first part is dedicated to the general characteristics of the concept of corporate social responsibility and the second part discusses the questions pertaining to the aforementioned issue in more detail. In order to provide a clear analysis, ten reports of major and well-known companies were selected. It is possible to deduce a trend from the results which suggests the behaviour of the companies when reporting CSR.
Assessment level of leanness in the automotive company

Lean management is an approach that has made a revolution in a several industries. The measurement of its approach usually deal with quantitative approaches. However, the expansion of this phenomena lacks of qualitative perspective. Therefore, this is new opportunity to explore new metric to determinate the level of leanness of the organisation. This thesis explores new approach to deal with measurement of leanness. Main goal is to analyse level of leanness in the company automotive industry through the ethnography research and propose improvement which increase current state in that company.
Change of operating processes in selected construction company

The thesis deals with a detailed analysis of a small construction company, and is focused on change in management and operational processes. The aim of this work is through scientific literature to find methods to change processes in the company. The first chapter is a theoretical and methodological, that analyzing the theoretical knowledge of literature. Define terms such as enterprise processes in the enterprise, methods of analyzing performance and the ways they changes- reengineering. The second chapter presents a specific company, its goals and activities. The third chapter will focus on a detailed analysis of business performance through financial analysis to detect threats and opportunities from the environment and the company from competitors by analyzing the PEST and Porter's model of competitive forces. SWOT analysis provides the results of all analysis. These are the base for any solution of the construction company in the fourth chapter, focusing on the changes in the management and production processes of the company, due to which would increase their performance and obtain better market position.

The Lean concept arises from Toyota Production Syste (TPS). Then, the concept of leanness includes Value, Waste and Continuous Improvement. An organization with high level of leanness creates higher value to customers with lower level of waste within a continuous improvement environment. The examination of these diploma theses determines a new approach of lean measurement. Although, the use of ethnography is new in Lean management, it opens new possibilities to understand the behavior of the people about the organizational leanness.
