The possibilities of using a story in a correlation at work with people traumatized by brain injury

This thesis contains two parts, theoretical one and practical one. The first part is mostly about a theoretical definition. It is mainly focused on following terms: story, life story, narrative approach, trauma, acquired disablement. Attention is paid to a target group (people with a brain trauma), they are also important in the practical part later. The thesis mentions the most frequent occasions of a brain injury/damage and their potencial consequences. Each information is connected with the main topic of this thesis. The organisation, where stories were used as a part of Social Therapy Workshop, is briefly introduced at the end of the first part. In the practical part some findings are devolved into a profession. The stories, which were collected during the direct work with clients of Social Therapy Workshop, are the most significant texts of this part. There is a space for client's particular life stories, they are analyzed than. The personal topic of each client is highlighted and the thesis provides various interpretations. The summary of the whole cooperation is situated at the end of this part. It includes links to process of individual consultations and individual plan fulfilment. The bachelor's thesis analyzes the assessment of basic needs of children placed in one of the specific forms of foster care performed by the authority responsible for providing for the social and legal protection of children. The aim is to map the fulfillment of the needs of these children in a particular region and create an overview of the common problems encountered during evaluation phase and the identified needs of the individual child protection plan. The practical part consists of a presentation of research findings, aiming to propose a framework with a minimum set of measures which would allow to meet the needs of children in the given families.
The design of the training programme for field social workers in excluded localities

The thesis "The construction of an educational program for field social workers in excluded areas" focuses in its topic on one of the social work approach - field social work. It addresses the field social work performed in the areas in the Usti region which are labelled as "socially excluded Roma areas" and primarily addresses the personality of social worker and his or her professional competencies. The aim of the thesis is a construction of an educational program reflecting knowledge, skills and competencies needed for effective and high quality professional performance. I based this topic on knowledge from the field social work, work with ethnic minority approaches and andragogy. I also included topic of Roma people focused on specific needs of Roma arising from their history, culture and tradition. I also mention recent situation in social exclusion of Roma people in the Czech Republic. I analyze the knowledge, summarize it and strive to make a comprehensive view on this specific category of social work. The specifics of working with children who have experienced physical abuse through the view of social workers

The aim of this Bachelor thesis was to find out how social workers work with children who had experienced a physical abuse and which strategies and methods they use during their work. Also, I wanted to discover all the involved subjects (organizations and other professionals) with whom the social workers cooperate in their job. Bachelor thesis is composed of the theoretical and the practical part. The beginning of my theoretical part is focused on issues regarding child physical abuse, historical aspects and also briefly the legislation of child rights protection. The other part concerns the risk factors of abusers and common features of families in which the abuse occurs. The last point of the theoretical part is to provide information about organisations and institutions in Prague which work with abused children and with other family members. The main sources were books, seminars, workshops and brochures I gained during my internship. The practical part is composed of two main subparts. O pěstounské péči se v současné době hovoří především v souvislosti koncepce plánovaného rušení dětských domovů, posílení jejího výkonu a legislativních změn v Zákoně o sociálně právní ochraně dětí. Jedna z forem pěstounské péče je příbuzenská pěstounská péče, kdy se pěstouny stávají příbuzní dítěte. Pro dítě je výhodné, že vyrůstá v prostředí, které je mu známé, existují však i nevýhody tohoto typu náhradní rodinné péče. Má práce se zabývá pozitivy i úskalími příbuzenské pěstounské péče, a to z pohledu dítěte, pěstouna, biologického rodiče a sociálního pracovníka. Cílem práce se stalo zmapování problematiky příbuzenské pěstounské péče z pohledu sociálního pracovníka orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí v Karlovarském kraji.

Bachelor thesis "Professiogram as the basis for the creation of methodologies for social workers in health care when working with chronically ill children" deals with the capture file professional activities, requirements and conditions of health and social worker, from which can be deduced further demands on the professionalism of personality worker and the eventual design methodologies. The theoretical part deals with the issue of chronic disease in children, including its impact on the daily life of the child, and social work in health care and the efficiency of the health status of the client that influence disease got into a difficult situation. Job Profile Diagrams of Personal Assistant / Consultant to Person with Mental Disability as the Basis for Training Programs

The aim of this thesis was to compare two positions in one particular organization with the help of an analytical job diagram that has characterized these posts in depth and structure, and to define the requirements and demands on both positions in turn summarizing information useful in the context of training programs or finding suitable staff for these positions . The thesis is focused on a detailed analysis of the activities of a personal assistant and consultant , including claims of mental , physical and other disabilities. The theoretical part deals with the subject of mental disability in general with emphasis on specific education and communication, that are key to promoting independent and complacent people with intellectual disabilities. Furthermore, the theoretical part provides basic information about the above-mentioned organization and the methods they use when dealing with these issues, the output of which is shown in the job diagram. This thesis is based also on work experience in Fose , o.p.s, as a personal assistant.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to develop professiogram as the basis for further training of social workers in low- threshold centers for drug addicts. Bachelor thesis maps the workload of social workers in low threshold centers for drug addicts, in especially ordinary activities, their frequency, level of stress, challenging situations, their frequency. Find out what requirements are imposed on a worker within the meaning of mental and physical endurance, what the demands placed on teamwork, cooperation with other organizations, qualification and knowledge successful completion of the profession, the need for support staff in the exercise of their profession and continuing education, etc. Based on the information is drawn professiogram social worker in the low threshold center for drug users.
