The Suggestion of Changes in Employee’s Remuneration in the Selected Company

This thesis “The proposal of change the combination compensation for employees of selected company” analysis issues related with combination compensation in the company Alfa a. s. and suggestion for improvement. Firstly, the theoretical part focuses on the explanation of remuneration expressions. Secondly, in the practical part there is a characterization of personal politics and combination compensation of company Alfa a. s. The proper research deals with questionnaire survey and its evaluation. At the end, there are some improvements suggested, for the current combination compensation improvement.

Hif1a role in cardiovascular function and heart disease

Hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF1A) is a transcriptional factor, which plays a central role in the maintenance of homeostasis under hypoxic conditions. It regulates a wide variety of genes encoding proteins that influence metabolism, extracellular matrix composition, oxidoreductase activity or angiogenesis in response to reduced oxygen levels. When HIF1A protein function is impaired, the organism is unable respond appropriately to hypoxia. Altered HIF1A regulation can result in severe tissue damage and eventually lead to death. The heart, as an organ with a huge oxygen consumption, is susceptible to various pathologies caused by hypoxic stress. The role of HIF1A in the heart is rather ambiguous and remains to be elucidated. It plays a role in cardioprotective mechanisms but also promotes the development of inflammation and apoptosis. This thesis aims to clarify the role of HIF1A in maintaining physiological functions of the heart during adaptation to hypoxic conditions using a mouse model with heterozygous Hif1a+/- deletion. Experiments involving molecular and cell biology methods performed on left ventricular tissue were preceded by bioinformatic analysis of data obtained by RNA sequencing of isolated cardiomyocytes. Czechoslovakia underwent a challenging transition from a communist regime to a democratic system in the 1990s. Some Slovak citizens perceived this period as their chance to seek emancipation. This desire, nourished by some political figures, started the division process of the Czechoslovak federation, which resulted in a series of bargaining between the two national prime ministers, Václav Klaus and Vladimír Mečiar. The citizens of the federation were waiting to see how their protracted meetings would unfold. And the only intermediary that could regularly bring them information, were the media. Nevertheless, through its important role of informing the public, the media also has a considerable power to influence what people consider important and what they think about. The way in which the media covered all events that led to the breakup may have had an effect on the public opinion on the existence of Czechoslovakia. This diploma thesis offers a view on how selected Czechoslovak press in 1992 portrayed the main characters of the final split of Czechoslovakia, focusing on the perception of Václav Klaus in Slovak media and Vladimír Mečiar in Czech media.

The Private and the Public in the Work of Libuše Jarcovjáková

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to the interpretation of the work of the Czech female photographer Libuše Jarcovjáková and aims to emphasize its importance and uniqueness for Czech and world photography. The theoretical part introduces the author, her cultural background, consisting of important personalities of the Czechoslovak art scene, and her still- evolving work and projects. It offers an insight into the world of photography through the search for similarities and differences with the work of Nan Goldin, with whom she is often compared in the Czech and foreign context. It focuses mainly on the work from the 1970s and 1980s, presented in the author's book Černé roky (The Black Years), its setting in the contemporary context, and the interpretation of selected photographs in terms of form and content. The interpretation focuses mainly on the search for the boundaries of the private and public, the issue of censorship and self-censorship, and the projection of these influences into the author's photographs. Conceptual tendencies in czech contemporary design Kamila Matějková Abstract Diploma thesis deals with conceptual tendencies emerging in contemporary Czech design and try to put them in historical and social context. It focuses primarily on product design, glass and ceramics and their development in the last decade. First, the thesis deals with the development of conceptual art, theoretical approaches to the design and the definition and circumstances of occurrence of conceptual design. The main part of the thesis focuses on conceptual tendencies that were observed based on research of contemporary Czech design scene. These tendencies are: the historical trend and tendency to appropriation of older works, the inspiration of nature and processing of environmental issues, the application of humor, exaggeration and story as a concept in design and a tendency to material experiment and experiment with material processing techniques. The perception of teacher's authority by 6th and 9th grade pupils

This diploma thesis is concerned with the perception of the teacher's authority by pupils of the 6th and 9th grades of a grammar school. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the perception of the teacher's authority by students of the above mentioned age groups from different perspectives. These aspects include ontogenetic stages of their development, the gender and the milieu. They are one of the topics that will be paid attention to in the theoretical part of the thesis. Another theme of the work includes the concept of authority and the authority of the teacher. The research is based od a quantitative survey, carried out through a questionnaire created for research purposes. The task of the questionnaire is to find out whether the perception of the teacher's authority changes depending on the age of the pupils, which means a specific stage of ontogenetic development, and how the above mentioned points affect the perception of teacher's authority by pupils of 6th and 9th grades. In order to confirm or specify the obtained questionnaire data or add information to them, a semi-structured interview was conducted with selected teachers. Transcriptional regulation in the development of the cardiac sympathetic system

To improve modern therapeutic and diagnostic methods, it is crucial to understand the development of the cardiac sympathetic system and to identify the genes involved in its regulation. Neural crest cells give rise to the sympathetic precursors that migrate towards the dorsal aorta. This migration is regulated by the NRP1/SEMA3A and neuregulin/ERBB signaling. The differentiation towards the sympathetic phenotype is regulated by transcriptional factor networks, including ASCL1, PHOX2A/B, GATA3, HAND2, HIF1A and ISL1. Next, neurons migrate to the final paravertebral position, which is regulated by the BDNF/TRKB signaling. The final step in the development of cardiac sympathetic neurons is the axon growth and guidance towards the heart. This is regulated by the NGF/TRKA and NRP1/SEMA3A signaling. This thesis aims to map current knowledge of different regulation pathways involved in the cardiac sympathetic development (especially in the mouse model) with emphasis on transcriptional factors. This type of information should help us better understand the pathophysiology of some cardiovascular diseases associated with the dysfunctional sympathetic system, such as arrhythmias, congestive heart failure or myocardial infarction, which remain to be main causes of death worldwide.
